Review 1：Some lack of attention to cleaning detail noticed in the corners of the bathroom and toilet areas. Would have been nice if the spring water was complimentary.

Review 4：The place has recently changed hands and the new owners are lovely. We had a large family room (Rm 27) with a beautifully renovated and bright bathroom with massive shower. Right next door to Knapsteins Wines.

Review 5：Friendly staff. Newley renovated room and a great price; for $130 I was expecting a very basic room but was pleasantly suprised. Perhaps ask your cleaners to clean the floors all the way to the corners; otherwise perfect! :-D

Review 6：In the spacious family unit (of two bedrooms) the three of us shared, it appeared the planners had given up on designing a workable toilet/bathroom/ 'kitchen' area; eg lack of bathroom shelves & hooks, a bathroom basin doubling for washing-up cups, but having taps too low to fill the jug!

Review 9：The size of the room, bed, kitchenette, shower and bathroom were amazing. A very comfortable stay for 3 days. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. The food in the restaurant was brilliant. What is not to like about this place. Close to the town to go elsewhere for meals. Walking track behind through the Gleeson wetlands for an early morning stroll and located close to the reisling trail. Highly recommend staying here if you visit the Clare valley!

Review 15：I've stayed here a number of times when I have been up this way on business. Location is central, walking distance to eateries and hotels. The rooms are always clean, roomy and tidy, and the outside noise is minimal. Air conditioning works well and is quiet.

Review 31：Grumpy owners wife yelling at us for having glass near the pool when her husband had already spoken to us and in a respectful manner and we had done what he asked, his wife then 5 minutes later was very unpleasant to myself and my husband and another couple from Florida USA , she would not listen to us and spoke very rudely and disrespectively, we wont be going back.

Review 41：Well named! We liked everything about this motel. We stayed three nights - primarily to attend a wedding but also to catch up with friends and relations in the area. .The location was excellent and shops, restaurants etc were within walking distance.

Beds were comfortable with electric blankets and heating was great. Really good location, short drive or walk to the town centre and The Clare hotel which is a great option for meals or drinks. We didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast but the menu looked reasonable. Would stay get again definitely.
