Review 1：Being charged 2.5% surcharge for using credit card without warning! Fan controls had control knobs missing making it difficult to use.
Review 2：The unit was well laid-out for our purposes.
Review 3：Penthouse was not the cleanest i.e. couch was significantly stained along with day bed/cushions. Half of ensuite is patched into the main bedroom, chairs are not secure – break or buckle easily (indoor outdoor), back bedrooms back onto the lift/other units where noise is significant from 9pm till 2am every night. Spa water not changed regularly. Very disappointing considering amount paid. Staff were extremely helpful with any issues reported however. Would not recommend the penthouse again.

Review 5：The All Blacks were about to play and the sound on our TV wasn't working, we rang reception out of hours and the helpful young assistant manager came and sorted us out.

Review 7：Travelled to Kingsliff for a family ceremony, staff were fabulous. Room was comfortable and we could invite family members there for a drink after the ceremony. Perfect location for what we wanted.
Review 8：Had a bottom floor room which was very dark and closed in only two windows in the apartment that opened onto a closed in garden area. Would not of been able to stay there more then a couple of nights. When booking it should state that you have a bottom floor room with no balcony.

Review 11：The service was fantastic! Very friendly. We also loved the special late check out offers as well as an extra night stay at a great rate. Unfortunately we couldn't use it, but a fantastic offer anyway. The location was super convenient to the beach and Main Street.
Review 12：The location. Plus manager placed shower chair in bathroom for my senior mother. He also assisted her with baggage as she arrived before us. The unit was modern and seemed to have been updated. The kitchen was beautiful and lounge area very modern and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. A few more blankets in each bedroom cupboard would be good. We were uograded from the two bedroom we booked to a lovely three bedroom with rooftop area. We loved the location. Great for family or friend groupings.
Review 13：We left the apartment clean there was a little bit of crumbs on the floor I feel being charged $313.00 for extra cleaning of room is disgusting. I know I didn't leave it dirty I only wish I had taken a photo. I have stayed here earlier on in the year with my parents and didn't leave the room any different than they did. As a family we will not return and will pass this on to friends and family. Prior to this we have told people to go as it was so beautiful, but not if they are going to charge an extra cleaning amount like that.

Review 25：Main Bedroom had motor for air conditioning on the roof balcony right above this bedroom. When a/c was on it was impossible to sleep so either turn the a/c off or sleep in the second bedroom. Windows are not double glazed and as our apartment was at the rear and on the bypass it was noisy.

Review 27：A terrible smell(like a toilet) was permading the balcony and this was evident on the top balcony.We could not enjoy the balcony at all.We informed the staff and evidently a plumber was employed to investigate.This came after we had vacated.This was not a good stay.

Review 105：The air conditioning didn't work. In the middle of summer, on the days when there was no breeze this is an issue. I would not of picked a location without aircon. Reported to staff, no-one came to fix it.

Review 111：In my opinion and those of our guests, the layout of the resort with having no outside balconies, just roof terraces, is not good for most people - too hard to access & no sun protection. We really missed not having a balcony of some sort, felt too hemmed in.
Review 112：I saw 3 cockroaches in our unit. The floors were filthy, our feet where black after walking around the unit. The so called "ocean view", we were put on the first floor and the Kingscliffe community hall was directly in front of us so we had no view at all. Definately not worth $240 per night and I will never stay there again.
