Review 1：The private beach location was stunning! The service and cleanliness was great.The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide range of food..and having breakfast at the pool with a fantastic view overlooking the beach and sea made it the perfect location! Great hotel, we would highly recommend it!

Review 4：Thin walls, lack of ability to adjust room temps and fan use from within the room, forcing windows to be open, adding more noise at night. Barking dogs and sleepless toddlers crying from client rooms at night. Lack of activities if you weren't lounging at the pool or on the beach, or into water activities. Walking trails were not well marked, or known through brochures in the hotel or hotel staff. Food was repetitive.

Review 5：Staff were delightfully professional, welcoming, responsive and attentive. They raised the bar for service at future 4 & 5-Star facilities. Motor scooter rental nearby was a life saver for fun exploration of the island. Found island environmental activities that were nearby if you had transportation. Beautiful breakfast buffet each day and a grand dinner at night.

Review 6：Noise from parties and functions from adjacent hotels and within hotel. Pillows were not of good quality. Breakfasts were not up to four-star standard. The scrambled eggs were seemingly made from powered eggs. Took a while to get staff to understand how to make proper English tea.

Review 7：Excellent, friendly staff on all levels, from front desk to chambermaids. Marvellous location on very good beach.

Review 8：Noise Alert. Walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors talking/tv, night & morning corridor conversation and luggage, and toddlers crying a number of rooms away. Pets are allowed and so barking & squabbles happened, too. Limited ability to adjust room temps and fans, easily (front desk would have helped had I pushed for the adjustment...opened windows instead, which increased noise. My choice. Area had limited activities if you weren't into boating, and food options were also limited if on foot. Walking trails were not well maintained or easily located with brochures.

Review 9：If beach is what you want, you'll get it here along with a level of personal service and graciousness I've not experienced so consistently elsewhere. From breakfast to daily room service, to beach umbrellas and towels, and valet vehicle service the attention to comfort, kindness and details raised the bar for future 4 & 5 star hotel stays.

Review 10：We thought that charging 38 euros a day for a baby cot for a toddler was a bit excessive! Two weeks in Italy and this was the only place we were charged such a high amount..

Review 12：You need a car to reach the property, but having a car on Elba makes sense in any case.

Review 13：Delightful property located on a beautiful bay. Great sunset views. Being located adjacent to an executive golf course was an unexpected bonus.

Review 20：The upgrade! Reserved beach chairs, umbrella. Delicious and generous nibbles with drinks at bar, the views, beach, pool, gardens, ability to access sister hotel, Hermitage. Maximus, the young man on reception always smiling and went out of his way to give directions, make bookings
