Review 1：No sea views from our balcony. Stairs for a young family or the elderly could be a challenge. Our room did not have a working washing machine (which we had to chase up) & the dryer had to be used while someone was present as the timer would not turn off. The Restaurant on the property was often closed (part of the reason why we chose this property as it offered lunch & dinner), but the last few nights of our stay was open with very limited menu - but fantastic food & warm beers! lol - all good I guess as part of the 'experience'.

Review 2：Rooms were comfortable & quiet. Location to our purpose for visiting 'Straddie' was fantastic - that's why we chose it. We can see why Brisbane people love to visit the Island as a getaway - come prepared if you can as eating out & purchasing groceries all adds up but on the other hand - supports the locals!

Review 3：The two things that could be improved was the view being obstructed by the trees a fair bit. The top part of the guard rail obstructed the view whilst sitting on the sun lounge and the seats at the table.

Review 4：The room was spacious and comfortable,the facilities were excellent.The view of the gardens was great.Loved the pool.

Review 5：Pool was great for our small kids who are still learning to swim as it has a rope around the walls of the pool. The beach is only a short boardwalk away which is handy and the location is quiet

Review 6：It took a bit of time to figure out how many people were allowed to stay and for how much but the local staff were ultimately very helpful.

Review 8：Bed and pillows not great, only one towel per guest, no hand towels or pool towels provided, very limited wi-fi.

Review 10：Lots of steps but we were on the top floor and we are an older couple. If we were staying for longer then 2 days, then the kitchen needs more plates etc.

Review 12：Our apartment was above a newly opened restaurant and fumes from the kitchen somehow managed to get into our bathroom which smelled quite toxic. The owner ensured that he would have it investigated and fix it. Saturday night was quite noisy (from the restaurant) so we didn't get a very good sleep that night.

Review 14：Firstly, Damian (one of the hosts) was incredibly welcoming and was eager to share his knowledge of the area. This helped us develop an efficient plan of things to see and do - a huge advantage when you only have a couple of days on the island. The room was small, but cozy with all the necessities. And finally the private beach was stunning and only a minute walk away from the room.
