Review 1：We have stayed in a big 2-floor apartment. There are beds for 5 persons but the only one bathroom is very small even for 3 persons. Breakfast is not included and it doesn't cost 6 euro per person (nothing special). It's better to buy fresh food in supermarket in Gioia Marea and enjoy breakfast on an terrace of your apartment.

Review 2：The last 100 m of the road to the hotel are not comfortable, but when you arrive, you will really enjoy the country life. A view of hills is beautiful, in August when it's very hot even in the evenings, you can breath a fresh air on the hills. A swimming pool is nice. The hotel is a good place to relax.

Review 5：Wi-fi didn't work in the room, but can use in the communal lounge and shower very small.

Review 19：Hard to reach, if You do not have car. 4km down the hill is ok (~1h by foot), but when You need to come back ... :) There is no taxi option. Borgo San Francesco restaurant opens only on weekend :( We had Wifi problems (but it could be internet company fault; staff managed it well). Nearest beach is right next to train station.

Beautiful place (nice room, good equipment, wonderful surroundings with colorful and aromatic plants, beautiful view of mountains, great pool place with ping pong:) )! City Gioiosa Marea was realy nice too (4km from Borgo San Francesco) - not tourists crowded. Very good value for money!

Review 28：It was just perfect, wish we would have stayed here longer. Gioiosa Marea is a hidden gem far away from mass tourism, the beautiful seaview from the train station felt like a red carpet. You get a free pick-up (and drop-off) up in the hills where it is situated. I think it's a family company, everyone is so warm and welcoming, especially the 'lady of the house'. Our studio was incredibly cute and cosy and we had a private patio with stunning view. There's a swimming pool which is just like in the movies: in the middle of the mountains with a view on the Italian "campagna". We even had our own pet for a day, an adorable baby kitten.

Review 29：Beautiful, quiet location and accommodation. Very very relaxing stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful in finding out the best places to visit based on our preferences. Would also recommend eating at the residence at the weekend as they serve dinner which was local cuisine and excellent value for money.

Review 30：Low quality beds, very noisy toilet, niosy room -we heard everything from our neighbours, started every morning at 6.30am and also we heard noise sounds from reception and also from social(meeting)-room. Meeting room was often full of cigarette smoke. We red in booking www-sites that playground is for use in this rezidence but it is not there, just one swing located at lower, fallen part of residence. That is a pitty...

Review 32：Walls are quite thin so all sounds from outside (people talking, etc) can be heard. It is very remote so it is ideal for people who just want to stay there and relax by the pool, etc. (In our case it was too cold to use the pool so we were limited in what to do!)

Review 33：We went with our 11 month old son and the apartment was perfect to let him crawl around without worrying about his safety. We could also relax in the living area or on the terrace while he slept - if need be we could even go to the restaurant or pool as the monitor range was good enough - although we didn't need to do that. Staff was friendly and very helpful. It was very peaceful and quiet and the beds were very comfortable.

Review 34：It takes a great deal of time to warm up the place in the winter so it made for a chilly first night. The driveway approach takes a little getting used to--have a small car.

Review 35：A very beautiful setup in the middle of the rustic countryside. Note that you don't see the ocean but rather a farm valley and all the activities that go with it. I think in the warm season anyone would be happy here.
