Review 1：There was no internet in rooms and not very strong in the reseption area. The restraunt had no menu in English or German making it difficult to make a choice. The staff on arrival was not very friendly but later seemed ok. The property seemed unloved maybe due to being at the end of the season but no excusess for cigarette buts in most of the plant pots around the property. This appeared to be a property were the owner may not live on site. The photos on the property ad are a little missleading

Review 11：The room and bathroom were large and clean. The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast room was a nice place to sit and enjoy the tasty croissants and coffee.

We kept coming back to base for our dinners :) Staff was great and despite not knowing englishbvery well supported us with all the info we needed :)

Review 14：When you arrive at this hotel, remember to ask the staff about any upcoming partys/weddings etc. With this information you can plan your day according to this. We were not allowed to use the pool this day. Remember a mosquito spray when dining in the restaurant.

Review 38：Probably due to the fact that it was winter, we found the bedroom coldwhen we arrived back at the end of the day. The heating didn't seemto kick in until about 6.30pm. Dining room was also cold in the morningand breakfast eaten with jackets on! Another touch we would like to seewould be a kettle. We have found more hotels in Italy are starting toput them in bedrooms. However there was a little bar in the hotel so itwas possible to buy coffees there. I would like to add that in no waydid the above detract from our stay.

Review 39：We chose this hotel as it was close to Florence where our son and hisfamily stay. It is in a peaceful location and despite other reviews, wefound that with Tom Tom we had no difficulties finding it. It took us 20mins to get in to the outskirts of Florence each day. The railwaystation at Lastra a Signa is close by, where an option would be to takethe train directly into the centre of Florence, but we used the car eachday. Staff were really friendly at the hotel. Although they didn'tspeak English it gave us the chance to practice our Italian. We travelto Italy a few times a year and the food at this hotel in the eveningwas the best we have experienced ever! We invited family over for dinnerone evening and the staff couldn't have been kinder and went out oftheir way for our little 1 year old granddaughter. Breakfasts probablyabove average and a good variety. The pool area looked lovely and we canimagine very inviting in Summer months. A few benches dotted about alarge grassy area which will be well used in warm weather. However wetravelled in February so can only dream about it! The bedroom we had waslarge, (bed linen changed every 2 days), as was the bathroom. This is agem of a hotel and we will certainly return.
