Review 1：The whole building and territory looked a bit like stayed in the 80-s, the garden and health trails were little out of order, you had to log in to WiFi every time you used it, the breakfast was not suitable for 4star hotel. By the hotel there were big pond, it looked really bad and was mismanaged. We stayed in time when prices were reduced, othervise it would of been really big disappointment. Alltogether it is no more than 3star hotel.

Review 2：The location was good if you had a car, we liked the big territory by the sea and the health trail. The garden was beautiful. Room was ok and bed was comfortable.

Review 3：The dinner menu was absolutely not worth the price. Very dissapointing. for a 4 star hotel. Also the staff at the bar seemed to have almost no education in barkeeping. Overall it seemed the kind of hotel that was great when it firat opened but now is starting to look a bit run down (parts of it). Also our room had mildew.

Review 5：I felt this hotel was not up to four star standard. We did not get value for money at all. We asked for late check as our ferry was booked for 2pm and check out was at the very early time of 10am, we were refused the late check out. Breakfast was very poor also. The grounds around the hotel are very unkept.

Review 9：- when you book family room, don't think there is a separate room with single bed for your child - the extra bed is placed in the corridor right close to the entrance door. - there is a private beach with sun beds and umbrellas on the territory but not for swimming for sure. - hotel is located quite far from Portoferraio (if you don't have a car - it could be a problem). - Wi-Fi is poor, you need to re-connect with password everytime.

Review 11：It is NOT a 4 star hotel. 2+ we would like to give it. When we wanted to complain to the manager he did not dare to face us. Telling his staff to tell us that we already paid for the stay so there was nothing to do. I would never ever recommend anyone to get this disappointed when hoping for a 4 star hotel.

Review 15：Had to take a bus to get to the city center or a 15 EUR taxi ride since this is located in an area away from everything. The pool was closed, the beach looks nothing like the pictures and it's basically a marina, and for the same price you can stay in a real 4 star hotel. This place is gloomy and they sell new sofas in the lobby!

Review 45：The hotel is out in the countryside. It takes 45' to reach on foot from the city center, or 15' by bus, or 20€ by taxi. Checkout time is 10.00am, so the last night is constrained. When I called to extend this, I was told "we normally would try, but today it doesn't work." I didn't judge they went out of their way at trying.

Review 46：Rooms are spacious and clean, and the price we got on booking was very competitive. The hotel is colocated with "Diving in Elba", so morning dives are extremely convenient.

Review 49：They had advertised the pool however it was closed while we were there (our fault for going off season I guess). As it is about 3km from town it's rather isolated and you need to use either the bus or a car to get around. There was the hotel resturant and one other local resturant within walking distance but that was all so either plan to eat at one of these or get into town for a meal.

Review 64：The staff were not good. The front desk was not helpful when asked aboutthe bus schedule, or activities. In particular, I asked for help findinga hiking guide, and she wouldn't help me. I asked the manager forhelp, thinking he'd be more suited for it, and he just scoffed meaway. Furthermore, they seemed very suspicious of me at all times, likeI was going to steal something. Their head waiter was not very niceeither. I don't know if this is because we were in our 20s, becausethe hotel seemed to cater more towards older people (albeit, Ididn't see many young people on Elba at all, but as a fan ofNapoleon, I was determined to go), but I really don't see this as anexcuse for the crass and annoyed treatment that we were given.
