Albergo Terminus sells fast on our site. Dating back to the 19th century, Albergo Terminus has both a great view of Lake Como and a central location in the historic center of town, next to Como Nord Lago Station.
Rooms are located in the main building or the hotel's new wing, built in 2007. Each room has an individual design, and air conditioning, satellite TV, and a minibar come as standard.
The Terminus Hotel includes a grand lobby with Wi-Fi point, as well as a gym and sauna. The restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes, with meals served out on the grounds overlooking the lake.
The staff provide an attentive service, tourist information, and recommendations on what to do in Como and beyond. Como Cathedral is just 1,000 feet away, while the museum and grounds of Tempio Voltiano are 5 minutes away by foot.

Review 1：The 4th floor is being remodeled so we woke up to the sound of heavy equipment, luckily this is Italy so the workers dint start until 8am.

Review 2：Nice location close to the lake and downtown are of Como.

Review 3：The first night they "offered" the only left"superior" room (we had booked a superior room) at the highestlevel of the hotel. A room in 2 levels, with spiders on the walls, ashabby wall-to-wall carpet, squalid bed cover, riven walls, broken powersocket in the bathroom etc. In counterbalance to that (I suppose...)They did not charge the parking... The breakfast (room included)certainly does not worth its price.

Review 5：On arrival the receptionist was dreadful totally unwelcoming. But the receptionist that was on duty for the rest of our stay was much better.

Review 7：The bathroom was dated and the small shower had a shower curtain which clung to you. The breakfast room can get very crowded with people waiting for tables.

Review 10：I loved the penthouse apartment, the view is amazing, the rooms are perfect for kids and parents. Very convenient to stay next to the lake and next to a playing area for kids. Kids loved walking around and feeding the ducks.

Review 11：I made my resevation before one month & half for 3 rooms with normal request (rooms should be in one floor). I did not got it. 1st night the AC not working changed the rooms next day, One of the standard rooms is very very small & charged me with same rate. Wifi in rooms Poor.

Review 19：I thought the room was small, and the elevator a bit dodgy, considering the room for two was over 300 euros a night. There were no hooks to hang up towels or damp clothing. There were no bathrobes- the other three hotels we stayed in on this trip (in the same price class) provided them.

Review 20：The hotel is charming, and the staff were generally very nice. The waiters at breakfast were particularly accommodating and gracious. The location is top notch for taking the lake boat or touring town - close enough to the funicular as well.

Review 21：I hated finding other people's hair in various places in the bathroom. Even after speaking to someone about the bathroom floor, it did not get cleaned right. This was not a good value for the money.

Review 30：The stuff is rude, unhelpful and arrogant, the room (Deluxe room) allocate for booking.com is very small no place to open even one luggage, could not even stand with the bathroom door open.

Review 33：Great location, right across the street from the lake, and a five minute walk from Lago Nord train station. The room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and quality of items, but like most buffets in Italy, lacked the typical American options, like bacon and eggs. Just by chance, we stayed in room 500, which is in the tower at the very top of the hotel (the only room like it in the hotel). It was a little odd, with the large bathroom on the lower level, and the bedroom (really not much more than a bed) on the upper level, connected by a very narrow spiral staircase. The plus is we had views of the lake and town on three sides and our own large private balcony. Definitely an unusual arrangement, but if you don't mind something unconventional, I highly recommend that room.

Review 36：Extremely expensive parking, 25€ per night. The heating was off and me and my husband get cold. As outside was over 20oC the heating was off but walls were still cold. In all other hotels on our journey heating was on.

Review 76：We booked based on the photos and paid the 430 euro a night for a suite. When we arrived we were told this is not the same and its a mistake made by bookings .com. After some discussion we were given a better room. I have never stayed in a suite that has so many things broken or missing in it. The bath broken, the iron and board broken, the dishwasher no tablets and the house keeping did not clean, tv remote broken.

Review 79：When checking out, the desk manager claimed that my credit card was declined. I was very surprised as I have never had credit card problems. I asked her to try again. As per the previous attempt, she swiped my card, entered the amount payable into the terminal, but ducked behind the office door before dispatching the transaction to Deutsche Bank for verification. My card was declined again. I became very suspicious, and asked my wife to offer her card. She pulled the same trick again. As we were in a hurry, I just paid in cash and we left. I now regret doing this, and should have taken the time to force her to make the entire transaction before my eyes. I suspect either of two scams: dodging the Italian VAT, or dodging the merchant charge. I wouldn't ever go back to that hotel.
