Review 1：They need to change the curtains in the room, at night they were almost see through if the light inside was switched on. They need to add a phone line directly connected with the reception and a fridge. They also need to add a safety box

Review 2：Almost everything. And the best thing was it was worth the money and the location!!

Review 3：Convenient location and great value for the money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated having the free breakfast and enjoyed the pretty courtyard and the new cafe. Great start to a fun day!

Review 4：The internet didn't work at all. There was a power cut two times in the same day. however, I don't think it is hotel's fault about the power cut. Also, the tap wasn't working .

Review 6：The front of the hotel looks so bad, it just looks like "kos-kosan" (rented rooms for the locals). It doesn't even have a lobby. Watch out for your big suitcase(s) when pulling them to your room as it's stoney and sandy. My family was so disappointed when arriving there. It's located in the middle of a "kampoong"-the local village. The breakfast is so mediocre. I would have a much nicer and more variety of food for breakfast with the same price in the other hotels we had stayed before. Well, that was enough, won't stay there anymore.Thx.

Review 7：A big room (2 bedrooms with 3 Queen Beds) for family. A dinner table for eating in when you can't eat outside esp in a heavy rain.

Review 8：The staff were lovely, the price was great considering we were a family of 5. We had the 3 bed villa, which was great. It was hot upstairs as the top bedroom is open to the ceiling, but we slept downstairs so all was good. The swimming pool was still being built, so we had to go to their other hotel to use the pool but as we had hired scooters this was no problem for us and it's not too far away if you walked. It was clean and tidy and that's all I wanted for our family. The breakfast was really quite good too.

Review 9：Located in quiet place just 15 min walk from the beach and few min from street full of clubs, restaurants and shops. Room was nice, big and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and we could choose between noodles, omelette with tost and porridge with fruits.

Review 10：Most of the staff does not understand much English. The signalling of the neighbourhood is very poor, but the hostel does not improve it. Namely, there are not any signs to recognize the hostel at night when is very dark.

Review 14：The receptionists don't speak English well enough to help in normal situations (how to get somwhere, etc.) or arrange things (motorpads). Only chief ot the reception is able to speak easily but works only during day shifts. There is a construction site in the backyard - small swimming pool is under construction.

Review 16：Didn't have a pool, was a little bit hard to find at first as the Maya sign is a bit hidden until you're 10m away from it. It's about 50m further south along Jl Mataram than what it says on booking.com location

Review 17：Closeness to Kuta, friendliness of the staff, comfort of room, TV. We had booked our last few nights at a different hotel close to the airport after a few nights here at Maya, but when we got there they had taken our booking and given the room to someone else (due to the ash cloud situation) and failed to let us know so we decided to go back to Maya Village, and they happily allowed us to stay an extra 2 nights in our room we had only just checked out of. Also bathroom was amazing, big shower head in a huge tiled room.

Review 18：This hotel is in a seedy part of bali down some back streets and you would not venture out of the hotel at night time. Some parts of the hotel was still under construction which was not advertised on the web site, it didnt look like anything from the pictures

Review 20：We took a 3 bed 2 bedroom villa.. The problem was the aircon in the 2nd floor room. Generally that aircon is meant to facilitate the whole house. luckily we are able to get a small fan for that room which is acceptable for our need.

Review 21：The location is just nice.. Located 10-15 mins walk to Legian,Poppies lane Eg. Sky Garden, Beachwalk plaza. Staff are very friendly and approachable.

Review 22：It has a good location, comfortable beds and tasty breakfast. It's close to the beach and night market. They can arrange the transport for you everywhere you go. Kind staff.

Review 23：The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast menu was satisfying but not their morning black coffee drink. They were also very quick on their toes, they didn't laze around and leave all the rubbish or empty plates that we left at the patio table to pile up, but took to cleaning it as soon as they saw that we were done. We stayed at the double queen bedroom and the room came with a roomy patio closed off with vertical wooden fixtures and glass door, which allowed the breeze in and at the same time provided us with a view of the garden and privacy. That was a big plus for us. The paint job of the room was neat, I didn't see any peeled paint or broken window sills. Also, they had perfectly chosen and placed two large exotic paintings above our queen beds, which was very pleasant to look at and wake up to. I rented a car and their parking was full, but they provided me with a solution and allowed me to park at their other villa not far from there. Also they gave us a ride to help us go back and forth to that other villa. After they cleaned our room, I saw that none of our belongings was taken, I felt safe there. All the water and electrical facility (AC, toilet, etc) functioned correctly and the bathroom was well maintained. There was no mouldy cracks or suspicious stains anywhere. Overall, my stay there went without a hitch and I would someday go back to Maya.

Review 29：The staff was very nice but did not understand English. We stayed at a villa with 6 people and the bathroom was dirty and aircons did not work properly. On the wall to the bed there were also blood splatter. The pictures did not really represent the villa. We thought it would be nicer/cleaner

Review 35：Dirty bathroom could not use bathtub. No DVDs player no railing on stairs. No TV channels for several days and staff had limited English

Review 37：We came there with 4 People and they upgraded us to a very good little house with two sleeping rooms, bathrooms and three double beds instead the normal room with two double beds. So we had enough space which was great. We've got breakfast very early before checkin. They also have a tour desk. We stayed there one night and decided to come back after our time on gili islands.

Review 38：The breakfast had limited option. It was okay if you stay in short period of time, but if you stay longer, eat somewhere else. Many small restaurants nearby.

Review 39：We had the family room for 4. It had a terrace, bath tub, two queen beds. Comfortable, clean, spacious.

Review 40：The staff attitude is excellent. We had changed our check out date as we bought return tickets 1 day earlier than a planned one. And the payment was made accordingly.

Review 41：The staff spoke poor English and mostly just pretended to understand. The bed was quite old and sagging and the wifi was extremely slow! Also they used an outside only bug spray In our bathroom and when we turned on the shower the fumes made is choke till we almost threw up and we had a headache and numbness in our mouth and throat the rest of the day.

Review 42：the location was just right for us, just off the Main Street so you could get a feel for the local life but not too far from everything.

Review 43：Limited options of cooking utensils, has unpleasant smell. I walked at night in the small alleyway as that's the nearest route to legian street. Someone with scooter tried to steal my bag, I refused to let go my bag which caused me felt down the concrete and few deep cuts. Not the hotel fault at all, simply unfortunate experience.

Review 44：The staffs are all excellent, willing to help at anytime. 24hours receptionist. Strong wifi connection. Close to convenience store, lots of small warung (local food stall), laundry place. They clean our room daily, replace the towels and refill water dispenser.

Review 45：On whole..we like to stay here because of the nice room/landscape/nice and friendly staff and last but not least the good breakfast that only serve once we ready for breakfast.

Review 47：Hotel suited most of our needs. It had comfortable room and bed, was clean and felt safe. There was some variety of breakfast and even a 'daily special' which changed daily. The rooms had very nice porch with garden view, great for long mornings and relaxing evenings. Surrounding area hase some shops and warungs so it does not take long to get your food. Also the staff was nice and helpful, speaking at least fair english.

Review 55：I loved that it was amongst the locals. We could walk to restaurants and shops, small ones. We caught taxis to kuta for $3. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It was just really comfortable. I had 2 rooms for my husband and 7 children.

We're vegetarian and asked for some fruits instead of the meat version, I don't know why but we got the fruits mixed in mayonnaise. I love to try new food creations, but this was to much at 8 am

Review 114：Location is on a small street, often traffic-jam. Staff is a little bit amateur. We check-in in 12a.m, they told us that there were some problem so please wait to 13.30 pm. But we must wait until 15.30 pm to receive it. Then I discovered that because there were another guests on that room, so we must wait for them. So amateur!

Review 115：The facilities is new and clean. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is supportive. Near the beach, local restaurants and cheap souvernir shops.

Review 116：My bathroom wasn't cleaned everyday, just the room. Wifi is on low signal on my room (second floor). The location is a little bit tricky for you who rent a car due to a small road to access the hotel.

Decent location, 10 min to legian road (sky garden location), 15 min to kuta beach (beachwalk location), good for you who doesn't like noisy place like poppies lane. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast, omelet/scramble egg with 1 slice of bread, some fruit and coffee/tea. Will come here again if i visit bali next time..
