Review 1：Slightly overpriced with respect to other 3-star hotels

Review 2：Wonderful location downtown Como, nearest to the lake. For the ladies, plenty of boutiques and fashion shops nearby- do not miss silk scarf and garments, a typical local product. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is specialized in lake fish dishes and is very fine.

Review 3：There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms or in the public areas. Breakfast was expensive so we ate out.

Review 4：The hotel is close to the port and the centre of town. The funicular, the cathedral and the bus stops were all within easy walking distance of the hotel. There were plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby for snacks or meals. There was a lovely courtyard just outside the front door.

Review 9：The staff were friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate our requests and requirements. The hotel is 3 stars and they don't pretend to be anything different. However what they do they do extremely well and give the impression of enjoying what they do while working extremely hard.

Review 11：It's all about location and parking in the old town of Como. Tre Re is spot on! Try to get a room in the new extension of the hotel, more luxury and less noise from the streets. We've been here three times now and will certainly go again if we need a pleasant stopover for Tuscany and further away!

Review 13：I loved this hotel, really charming in a faded sort of way, e.g. battered marble staircases mixed with medieval stone pillars. Also the lovely staff knew me personally from day one, and the location is superb.

Review 20：To reach the hotel could be a nightmare as it is located in a "Limited Traffic Zone" in the historical center of the town, plenty of narrow streets with crazy one-way routes. The GPS does not work in those deep "canyons", so I advise to contact the hotel for directions when arriving.

Review 21：The hotel is very elegant, well maintained and located in the very center of Como, near the lake. Lots of fashionable shops around- a paradise for ladies! The staff is friendly and collaborative, parking is available even if the space is pretty limited.

Maybe just a little more decoration in the room, perhaps another picture or two. It was a good breakfast, but maybe a little more variety. But no real complaints. They responded to everything asked.

Review 45：The hotel is very well positioned (in the pedestrian area, close to both the lake and the Dome). The staff was friendly and helpful with parking. The room was basic, but comfortable enough. However, the hallway was beautiful.

Review 46：The courtyard gates are locked at night, I understand this is for security reasons because cars are parked inside etc. This means you could be left standing in the rain while trying to get back inside at night. The night porter did respond quickly to the call bell.

Review 48：Nothing to dislike really. The "large double" rooms are recently refurbished and better than the other rooms. Don't bring a large car - the car park is very cramped (the staff have a good system for cramming in as many cars as possible into the limited space!).

Review 49：Great location in Como next to shops, restaurants and bars and very close to the lake itself, so things like the ferry or the furnicular railway are easily walkable. Lots of places to eat close by (though check tripadvisor for ratings first!), and a supermarket (Billo) just opposite for supplies of bottles of water etc. The hotel's restaurant had good food and was better value than expected. Breakfast was a moderate choice of cereals, bread, pastries, meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit. Not as good as you would get from a 5* hotel, but then you're not paying 5* prices.

Review 53：The towels are more like tea towel material. I would recommend the hotel to change all the towels to normal ones. I've read previous review, so I brought my own. My friend had to buy a new towel during our stay. My friend complained about the coffee. Anyway, there are a lot of cafes nearby if you want good coffee in the morning.
