Review 1：No parking within 1km (including a few tens of steps). Wifi was not working (net provider issues), as such no credit card payment option aviailable...

Review 3：It is worthwhile to note that the owner understands some English but doesn't speak it. So communicating beyond the most basic topics is challenging if you don't speak Italian.

Review 6：As it was very hot and we had to take a lot of steps to go to the village and back, a small pool or jacuzzi would be wonderful.

Review 8：I faithfully recommend everyone to stay BBQ Lodge. Good location to reach the bus station in San Rocco..only 2 minutes by walking..You can easily go Santa Margarita, Portofino, ect.. from Ruta. BBQ is very unique and good furnitured boutique hotel by refined sense of Giovanni who is very kind and helpful as an owner the BBQ. Also you can commone with nature. Price-profit balance is also applicable..I like their breakfast.. For the magnificent summer night, it will be very good choice..I'll be there second time definitely:)
Review 9：Beautiful place to relax, very friendly owners. Car had to be parked a few hundred meters away (you need to take a lot of steps to get there) but you get an email in advance to explain the location. Once there, truly wonderful place!
Review 10：Special place being a mix of hotel, B&B and private house, quirt location - that require some walking though. Owner really makes you fell at home, and serves an excellent "freshly baked" breakfast. If you are looking for a traditional hotel you may be disappointed, but if you are looking for something special - you will be pleasantly surprised.
Review 11：I thought it was just a bit expensive for a basic room in a house. Also, there is quite a long way to go from the parking to the room. The flat part along the road is pretty easy, but the stairs from the town to the house are pretty brutal with a suitcase in the heat of the day.
Review 12：We loved staying in San Rocco di Camogli because it was so nice and quiet and less touristy, yet very near beaches of Paraggi, Santa Margarita di Ligure, and Camogli. Hiking was also easily accessible, though it was too hot for hiking when we were there. We ate one of our meals at the new restaurant in San Rocco di Camogli (the second of two) and it was fantastic and we loved meeting the people there - so kind and friendly. BBQ Lodge owners were incredibly friendly too.
Review 13：You can not reach it by car and you have to carry you're luggage down some steps if you park in San Rocco and a lot of steps if you come from Camogli but once you are there that's the reason why you want to be in a spot like that.
Review 14：The guys running this B&B welcome you in the house that they restored. They were still working on a patio with an amazing view on Camogli and surroundings. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of local products. A great place to start walking to Portofino and take the boat back to Camogli.
Review 15：Beautiful peaceful setting. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly host and helpful beyond the norm. Best suited to people who are physically active and travel lightly is my recommendation. Lots of steps but a lovely part of the coast.
