Review 7:Nothing.
Review 8:The staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet so I had a great sleep. Free WiFi. Breakfast was one of the best I've had.
Review 9:I was alone for three nights in this family owned establishmet until my son and his wife joined me for a further three nights. I couldn't have been happier. I was sorry to leave and look forward to staying at the loft when i go back to Ireland. Can't speak highly enough of the place. Christine.
Review 10:Shower cubicle too cramped and shower pressure not sufficient to get wet without performing gymnastics.
Review 11:Excellent atmosphere, John and Robert were friendly jovial hosts
Review 12:You have to confirm breakfast the night before, so we didn't opt for it at all. Also pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Could have done with a bit more space in the room, but it was fine overall.
Review 13:Location was so convenient, room was clean and warm and fairly comfortable, it was a grand place to stay if you are on a night out in Ballina.
Review 14:Rooms a litte small. Not a lot of room to move around but comfortable and cute.
Review 15:Great location, friendly staff, cute bar, good breakfast, free street parking. Room in the front has nice seating area and view of street.
Review 16:The staff, so friendly and helpful and the food great. 10 out of 10 to owners, Robert, Patrick and John, so friendly and welcoming. Stayed several times and will be going back again. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.
Review 17:The shower was a little blocked and the shower head kept dropping and was impossible to stay in a fixed position.
Review 18:The hosts and staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs, from extra towels, printing boarding passes, even down to local transport help (if needed). Our stay was extremely accommodating that we would stay again and would definitely recommend to friends that are travelling in that direction.
Review 19:I came over from Manchester for a wedding and stayed 3 nights in the loft after friends recommended. Every single one of the staff were brilliant the room was great and the breakfast was everything I had heard of. I'll be back!
Review 20:Shower a bit small and reception on tv a bit fizzy.
Review 21:Clean, really friendly staff, central location, good quality breakfast, fast internet, sound proof rooms with comfy beds and black out curtains.Lovely pint of Guinness!
Review 22:Double bed was two singles stuck together so may as well of had two separate single beds as the bit in the middle was very uncomfortable. Breakfast on the Sunday morning could have been cooked more sausages were half raw.
Review 23:Location was perfect staff were lovely.
Review 24:Breakfast was a wee bit disappointing you had to decide the night before? and there were no porridge/cereal/fruit /yogurt options available for those of us who don't like a cooked breakfast. Also when we requested brown bread we were presented with brown sliced processed loaf bread ..... no healthy options .....
Review 25:The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable and clean, would stay there again if the owners were willing to offer a healthy option breakfast for future guests.

Review 35:The shower and toilet facilities were a bit cramped in this particular room but were clean and well supplied. Stairs to rooms could pose a challenge if guest luggage is bulky/heavy.

Review 40:Everything, owners could not do enough for us, great location, walking distance to everything, really nice comfy beds, clean rooms, great stay overall
Review 41:I'd hoped for a lively evening with traditional music - but was there on a quiet night. But I found a local bar nearby which made up for it.
Review 42:Friendly, helpful staff, good location, massive breakfast, spotless room.
Review 43:Other guests came in very late (4.30am) and created loud noise for over an hour in the hallway running up and down stairs etc. As there is no reception there is nowhere or no person to complain to at that hour. The same people were with women who were screaming outside on the street who were trying to get inside the building to be with the party goers. We had to share the small breakfast room with these men the next morning as they regaled tales of their exciting night.I was unable to get back to sleep after been woken up by them so it did affect my stay. In general the facilities could do with an upgrade as the TV didn't really work, but the place was clean.
Review 44:Breakfast and staff are great. Location good.
Review 45:I didnt like that there are not irons for your room and ironing has to be done in the hallway
Review 46:The rooms were lovely, clean and so welcoming and comfortable.
Review 47:Only small downside, the bed was not very comfortable.
Review 48:Very central, The Loft is nevertheless very quiet (I did ask for a quiet room). Lovely staff, very clean and the Irish Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended
Review 49:Breakfast was excellent, and piping hot, the bed extremely comfortable, the room quiet, location central. Best of all was the approach of the staff - perfect hospitality personified.
Review 50:No free parking as advertised and breakfast was not until 8am. The screen on my phone was nearly as big as the TV screen in my room. No RTE 1 or 2 channels available on the TV.
Review 51:Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 52:No complaints.
Review 53:The staff welcome and treat you like you're one of the family. Plus the real fire adds to the cosy surrounds. Cracking spot. Can't wait to go back
Review 54:Emergency light located in the overhead light kept the room from getting dark - annoying
Review 55:Had a really enjoyable stay, great food, everyone was helpful and engaging
Review 56:Ballina is a quiet place to stay, especially in October, but the atmosphere at the Loft made it very enjoyable.

Review 67:We can not think of one thingthat we were not 100 percent satisfied with ...
Review 68:We were definitely treated as VIP guests by the hosts, i.e., the 3 brothers Patrck, John and Robert. They are very eager to assist their guests in their Ballina visit/Ireland travel needs as they did with helping us initiate our successful family history hunt. They provided excellent pub foods, beverages and music for locals, as well as guests. The room are very clean and well attended every day by Philomena. Lastly, their location is central and very convienient to everything in Ballina.
Review 69:There was a very overpowering smell from the bathroom may be due To chemical cleaning substance We had To open the windows and leave the room for a few hours also while the sheets and quilts were clean the throws and cushions in the room could do with a good cleaning
Review 70:The television! Channels were coming through fuzzy, besides that's really it.
Review 71:So many good points about The Loft, the staff, very friendly and helpful. The price, for the night that we had stayed it was a very good deal, unbelievable! The rooms, very comfy and cosy, had all that we needed. Can safely say I will definitely be going back to stay there again, great great place :)
Review 72:Loved the staff and it was located right in the middle of Pearse Street which is the town centre. There are several bars and restaurants close by. I came to love Rouses across the street! The breakfast is cooked to order every morning for you in the bar. The whole experience was just excellent.
Review 73:Stayed here before and again was impressed with the service, staff, room and value for money. Have nothing to complain about. As my previous review waxed lyrical about the breakfast, I have to mention it was just as good the lady serving is a class A dote! There was another lady and she seemed lovely too!
Review 74:We got along without an elevator, tho lugging suitcases up two flights was a chore. Anyone unable to climb stairs would have difficulty staying here.
