Hotel Crystal sells fast on our site. Located just outside the Medici Walls, very near the center and Le Ghiaie Beach, Hotel Residence Crystal offers great accommodations and amenities including its own restaurant right on the beach.

Review 1：Room without window, only with a small slit of daylight, and smelling cold cigarettes. For this, a price of 110 EUR per night is definitely not acceptable - at no time of the year.

Review 5：Not really the sea-view it claimed: long since been obscured by trees, but very close to the beach. Only one lounger on the terrace - a room for two needs two loungers. No iron available.

Review 9：Unfortunately the terraces were all joined with neighbouring rooms, so that when you sat out you sat next to the people in the room either side of you - there was no privacy. Poor choice of TV channels. Not really a 4*.

Review 31：Friendly and helpful. Relatively cheap for clean, large room with large terrace and although not extensive breakfast it was better than many offered at budget Italian hotels. It was close to the ferry, the shops/restaurants and the hotels own private beach. We enjoyed our stay there.

Review 35：Friendly small hotel, lovely large terrace with the room. Superb casual restaurant of theirs on the beach, fresh seafood and free sun beds and umbrellas for guests.
Review 36：Definitly, it's not 4* place, not even normal 3* but offensivelyoverpriced. Rooms are tiny, modestly furnished. Rooms are more orless clean.Bathroom was so compact, a kind of "chamber pot with handke inside" with a hole in thew red floor instead of buth or shower cabin. No 4* facilities. Breakfast... well, THEY should pay to guests for this tiny cold tasteless nothing. Very thin wall with corridor. Roomservice starts to work at 8 a.m. and they're VERY loud. Stairs are heaped with packs of used bedding so it more looks like refugee camp. Simply rent 2-3 or apts. There and pay as it really shall cost. Or best choice, try to find accomodation somwhere out of Portoferraio. Rio Marina on the sothern shore of Elba looks attractive + have faster ferry connection (20-40') vs. Portoferraio (1h 10') and options to visit Pianosa and Monte-Cristo isles.
