Reviews for Hotel & Residenza 100 Torri

Review 1:Given free upgrade. Right in the middle of the old section, with safe parking (although one-way traffic a little confusing in finding the hotel). Lots to see in Ascoli.

Review 2:All of the staff at the front desk and the breakfast staff were extremely welcoming, and personable. Marzia, at the Front Desk is superior in her lovely personality, and she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The staff is amazing granting any request with a smile and grace. The attractive man who takes the evening shift along with Marzia (apologies that I do not know his name) helped to accommodate a special request without hesitation. The rooms, the intimate breakfast in the beautiful atrium and Ascoli Piceno get my highest recommendation. I felt I had returned to a bygone era.

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:This really is a magnificant hotel. It is privately owned, very elegant, very beautiful designed in an old local building. The room was romantic, very clean, and cosy. The personell was very friendly and gave us a super tip for dinner. We were on a long car trip through Italy and this was our favorite hotel!!

Review 5:The Hotel is an historic building completely restored full of character in the city centre. Very nice and elegant place ideal for visiting Ascoli Piceno.

Review 6:That we had to leave.

Review 7:Everything was wonderful. The hotel location, was perfect, close enough to the centre but with just a short walk to soak up the atmosphere of the town. We couldn't fault the hotel at all. Our room was perfect, clean, comfortable and well appointed. the breakfast was very nice, served with silver cutlery! The staff were so helpful and really well turned out. The hotel somehow reflected the town of Ascoli Piceno. Overall, top of the range and excellent value for money!!!

Review 8:The haphazard approach to signposting for the autoroute...getting to Ascoli is fine but getting out is a real tour-de-force!

Review 9:A mite expensive for what is, after all, a B&B. Warrants a longer stay than we could arrange.....so, with great pleasure, I would like to return to this stunning town with this Gem in its midst!

Review 10:Fabulous location and a delightful hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Perfect for exploring the town and what a beautiful town. Few tourists and stunning architecture.

Review 11:The AC went off during the night and came on immediately after a call to reception Very odd

Review 12:Beautifully converted mansion hidden away down a little back street two minutes from the centre of historic Ascoli Piceno. Parking on site. Excellent. Very friendly very helpful staff.

Review 13:The hotel is wonderful once you can find it!! I would recommend that anyone arriving by car does as we did......Find a local taxi and pay the driver to guide you to the hotel!

Review 14:The interior of the hotel was very elegant but welcoming and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The three days we spent there were a constant delight.

Review 15:The good thing about the hotel is enter the city by car, park, check in and in 5 minutes you are at the heart of Ascoli Piceno. Good conversion of a building in the centro storico

Review 16:Very peaceful location although difficult to find initially. It however a a very short walking distance to all the major points of interest in the town. The property has been beautifully restored to a high standard .

Review 17:Nothing specific as we stayed for only one night.

Review 18:We stayed in this hotel for one night only, as Ascoli Piceno was our resting stop from Northern to Southern Italy. The hotel was good. the room was nice, clean and comfortable. Free Parking.

Review 19:Location was good for a center city. It is walking distance to centro but streets are very small.

Review 20:It was very attractive and the hosts were very helpful. Parking was available and secure.

Review 21:Excellent hotel. Within walking distance of most historical sights. Good breakfast. Staff very attentive. The owner was especially helpful at suggesting other areas to visit in Italy.

Review 22:This only applies to the town and of course not in control of the hotel but there are no curb cuts on most streets. This is an exception in Italy in general.

Review 23:We were a group of three, a friend, my wife and I. I am limited in my walking and use a wheelchair for anything other than short distances and on this and other recent trips to Italy, I have been very impressed with accessibility in general. This hotel was also exceptional in facilities and helpfulness of staff. Beautiful city, flat which is helpful for me though of course there are cobblestoned streets. Charming hotel and staff

Review 24:Disappointed as we didn't get the room that was booked months in advance. More choice for breakfast, fruit etc was poor.

Review 25:Ideal position for visiting Ascoli. Lovely building, warm welcome

Review 26:Improvements needed for breakfast

Review 27:What a beautiful hotel , located in the centre of the old city . Great location ,Morden rooms and friendly service staffs.

Review 28:All that i can say that was missing in the room was another pillow option would have been good otherwise nothing to say.

Review 29:Location was perfect parking was good and secure rooms were large and comfortable staff were obliging and ready to help, Breakfast offered both sweet and savoury all in all would stay again without hesitation.

Review 30:We received lovely service from the very attentive staff. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Parking was easy but the narrow roads to get there were a bit of a challenge. Breakfast was fine and the hotel location was spot on.

Review 31:The photos of the hotel give you the impression that there is a garden but this is only for events and cannot be used by the guests.

Review 32:I loved the location of the Hotel and the quietness at night. The breakfast was good and the rooms large and spacious.

Review 33:The room itself is fine, but the shower 'doors' are the most silly design that I've ever seen. They don't stop you having a shower, but they're 'non-functional'. Fortunately, as the bathrooms are spacious, this is not a real problem.

Review 34:If you're looking for an independent 'large' hotel in the middle of town, with 'good 4 star service' then look no further. If you enjoy the character of a smaller place, with real friendship from the owner, rather than the trained McSmile of the staff, then this place isn't for you. There's nothing _wrong_ with the hotel at all, but having stayed in so many other places throughout Italy, including 'large boutique' hotels, this just felt a little too corporate. Oh - and Ascoli Piceno has more to offer than might first meet the eye - so we might be revisiting one day. Would we stay at 100 Torri again? - If it was a business trip, definitely yes. - If we're in our 70's when we go back, maybe. - If we're still young (at least of heart), then we'll probably take a chance and look for somewhere with a bit more individuality and character.

Review 35:Hard to find (print a map before you leave; our GPS went berserk!). Roadside arrows are currently accurate only from one direction (road rebuilding blocks the other way of entry).

Review 36:Small, but well-kept and with clean rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff (they helped us to find the excellent Velenosi winery on the outskirts of the town). Good location, close to restaurants. Nice winter garden for breakfast. Secure parking on the premises (but a limited number of spaces). Highly recommended.

Review 37:Lovely breakfast; best croissants in Italy! Parking very useful.

Review 38:breakfast a little poor

Review 39:great remodeling of an old monastery, quiet ,clean

Review 40:Position, staff, cleanliness, helpfulness, décor and elegance

Review 41:Pillows terrible extremely flat and only one . Don't take a room without air conditioning as very stuffy .

Review 42:Great size room . Great location .

Review 43:Hard to find but very well worth the effort.

Review 44:Perfect location in a beautiful low key town. Friendly helpful staff. Elegant hotel.

Review 45:Cool, clean and quiet hotel in beautiful town of Ascoli, with friendly and helpful staff; good value; car parking

Review 46:location great ,

Review 47:Friendly staff and excellent locatipn

Review 48:Loved the hotel and town. Breakfast was great and the room clean and nice. The staff was also great. The location was perfect!

Review 49:Wi fi was a little slow

Review 50:Everything about this place was wonderful

Review 51:No major complaints.

Review 52:Friendly/helpful staff, location to Centro. Quiet street. Good value as well.

Review 53:could have have something warm for breakfast

Review 54:the hotel building is great, old italian stone style, really charming, and great room

Review 55:Staff were excellent--breakfast first class--good central location

Review 56:HAVE VISITED THIS HOTEL MANY TIMES, WHICH SAYS IT ALL.

Review 57:Difficult to find

Review 58:Staff incredibly helpful & welcoming. Hotel clean, excellent location & boutique style. Lovely room.

Review 59:Good value and it is a unbelievable hotel.

Review 60:everything .... location , gated parking , staff , breakfast and best cappuccino .

Review 61:Beautiful Hotel in easy to find location in the historic centre of this wonderful town. Very friendly staff. Would stay here again!!!

Review 62:Room a bit cold (as atmosphere)

Review 63:Central location...

Review 64:no comments required

Review 65:What's not to like

Review 66:Everything!

Review 67:Breakfast catered for those with a sweet tooth - a little more savoury would have been good.

Review 68:Very elegant hotel, well placed and with parking. We would stay there again if in the area.

Review 69:A lovely hotel in a beautiful old town. Excellent lady (owner I think) at reception, spoke very good English. Helpful regarding the town, what to see, restaurants etc. Location a bit difficult to find especially with the on-going street works and one way streets. A friendly policeman however sat in the car and accompanied us to the hotel. Once there all became clear. Superb town to visit and a superb hotel to stay in. A must visit in Italia and I will return.

Review 70:We stayed at 100 Torri for eight nights at the beginning of May and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite which was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay in the fascinating town of Ascoli.

Review 71:Everything. Only issue is to get there-don't follow the GPS as you might end up in a tiny road. Ditto the signs on the streets. Make for the Ceramic Museum and ignore the no-entry road sign-the hotel entrance is 20m along.

Review 72:There was somewhat a cold atmosphere of extreme efficiency. The blankets were polyester, the check-out at 11:00 am firm. But overall there isn't anything to complain, it is a very good hotel.

Review 73:This was a very good hotel in my one month voyage in Italy. I stayed only one night and overall I was very satisfied with the hotel. The building is a converted palazzo on a quiet street in Ascoli Centro Storico. The room was nicely furnished in a soft modern pastel style. It was rather small, but immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. There was excellent cable internet in the room, a major advantage for me. The bathroom was large and well-equipped with towels and nice toiletries. Breakfast was adequate; gated parking was free and safe. The service was efficient. The location is excellent, close to all attractions in Ascoli Piceno. It is a very solid hotel and I would certainly recommend it.

Review 74:Kind of difficult to find, mainly because the streets in Ascoli change names every block or so.

Review 75:This hotel is a totally renovated building right in the old part of the city. The rooms are modern, exceptionally clean and the rooms, including the bathroom are huge by European standards. Staff was very friendly.

Review 76:The bath was too narrow for broad shoulders, the controls were difficult to reach, and the shower was awkward to enter and exit.

Review 77:This hotel is every bit as fine as the online images portray, without be pretentious. 100 Torri's location on a quiet street just a few steps from Piazza del Popolo was perfect.

Review 78:Nothing.

Review 79:Magnificent large room and bathroom. Impeccably clean and everything in superb working order. Service, in the form of the ubiquitous Giovanna, was unfailingly kind and efficient. Delicious breakfast. In short, a terrific hotel.

Review 80:nothing

Review 81:The building was historic and extremely well remodeled. We upgraded to a suite which was very large and would have held a family. Very reasonable rates. High level of service. Nice breakfast. We were given help with touring and finding great restaurants.Overall great experience. Loved the town too.

Review 82:graffiti

Review 83:Our group of family and a very close family friend found this hotel to be wonderful! The location is right inside the old, walled medieval city. Beautiful architecture, a stunning Piazza, good restaurants. This hotel stands out because of the staff, Giovanna in particular, the lovely rooms with modern amenities, quietness and the attention to detail. Parking on-site. This was the beginning of our stay in Italy--and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Not on the normal tourist map of towns to visit. You must get past the newer section, with lots of ugly graffiti. The old walled medieval town is a treasure

Review 84:Mini bar not properly stocked. No real bar in the hotel.

Review 85:Location, excellent design and use of a medieval building, professional and friendly Staff. Helpful. Quality rooms.

Review 86:Very welcoming reception in this lovely old building(s). In this very lovely town ... We felt pampered. It rained and we actually relaxed in the lounge/lobby and it was good. Lovely all around -- breakfast, staff -- and most charming owner Ms Tassi. Parking very convienient

Review 87:A little disappointing that the hotel charges extra for many breakfast items including ham and eggs and "toast".

Review 88:A very nice hotel located in the centre of the beautiful city of Ascoli Piceno. The provision of secure, complimentary car parking was especially useful in a city centre. Our room was well-furnished, comfortable and clean albeit a little on the small side. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was adequate.

Review 89:My only comment would be to have an outside seating area in one of the courtyards for relaxing or taking a coffee. the weather was beautiful when we stayed and it would have been so nice to have been able to sit and relax in it.

Review 90:The location is fabulous, walking distance in the old town to everything. the decor and staff were lovely.

Review 91:Breakfast more like a "sweet table" than the traditional Italian with large selections of meats and cheeses.

Review 92:Good location, once you found it. Secured free parking. Large, clean rooms. Close to shopping & restaurants.

Review 93:No negatives.

Review 94:Staff incredibly helpful, especially Giovanna. We parked outside city walls and walked in to the hotel. She drew on the city map a safe easy way for us to negotiate our car thru the narrow streets to the hotel's private parking lot. And then did it again for us to leave the town.

Review 95:Fabrizio is excellent.

Review 96:Very charming hotel and you couldn't ask for more helpful or friendly staff! Will be going back again and again as is very close to centre.

Review 97:The nice place to stay in an ancient city. Very comfort and clean.

Review 98:Hotel was wonderful and staff was very helpful. It was very nice to have on-site parking.

Review 99:Location. Building. Staff. Rooms. Parking.

Review 100:Excellent position in town center.private parking.quiet.all facilities,good breakfast

Review 101:Nothing we did not like!!!

Review 102:Great location and staff.

Review 103:Elegant interior

Review 104:Location
