Review 1：Television reception terrible, the stairs to the pool are very dangerous and there are tiles in the pool that are broken.

Hallways were dirty, food left out on the floors from room service. To top it off, the staff were not friendly and unattentive. I would not recommend this over priced and poorly run hotel!

Review 23：The swimming pool needs attention. There were 2 steel aluminum ladders to get into the pool but they were both broken, coming away from the cement and are unsafe. They also need a lift to the pool or better steps. The steps they have are far apart and too hard to climb. I have a bad knee and found it uncomfortable to get yp the stairs.

Review 25：The music at the rooftop pool was loud but fair enough as the rest of the guests were young. I would prefer to have steps up the side as well as at the front entrance to the pool. Also - the name has changed so my taxi driver was confused. The old name is still at the top of the building but I wasn't aware of the change.

Review 26：After a busy, hectic taxi ride the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. The staff were lovely. My wake up call was gentle and considerate. The room and bed were very comfortable.

Review 27：The food at breakfast was horrible, the bathroom was discussing, the aircon was noisy, throughout the night you could hear a banging noise coming from the structure of the hotel every 20 seconds, I would assume this is caused by the services to the roof top pool. The receptionist rang the room at 23.00 to tell me that I did not leave my credit card details, these were not asked for on our arrival so not really my problem that they forgot to ask and not happy to be woken up asking for them. It was that bad we left and stayed at another hotel for the last night.

Review 35：I'm allergic to the heavy Frangipani scent that is sprayed in all the rooms. After some time inside, I can hardly breathe. Searched 4 rooms for one without it, and finally waited for one to be cleaned so that it didn't get sprayed. Staff very helpful to find the "unscented" room and move my bags while I was out on an errand. Traffic is horrible in this area. Plan to come/go in early morning or very late evening.

The staff like mr flanel from reservation did a great job in arranging all the decors to be done and also that it shldnt be mention during check in. Review 48：In every bad experience, the hotel and staff made up for it: > Mosquito in the room - they have electric insect repellent > I got cheated in the money changer (please be careful) - the staff (and Gede) advised me to only change my money in money changers with Western Union. Other staff even asked if I want to go to the police > I got "harassed" by the "sales people" since I'm alone (and quite small). The spa in the hotel has a discount if you ask. Gede even taught me how to bargain - always 25% lower (50% so that you'll have allowance)

Review 49：The staff and the hotel is excellent. The location is great, so near the shopping centers and good food (didnt try the bars but I think they're pretty near). The tour is great! My tour guide, Gede (look him up) is so great, he even lend me some money when I got short while shopping! He knows where to go and you can even ask him to switch places (I skipped the swimming activities for somewhere to buy coffee) and he's totally cool with it. Great, great staff. Definitely would come back.

Review 54：Passports were asked upon arrival and reception staff forgot to hand it back to us! We went up to the room and realised missing passports, ran back down to collect it and greeted by the same staff with no sorry or whatsoever. Not a good start of a holiday but we weaved it off. Came back to our room after dined-out just to find hard mattress, dirty shower curtain, very loud washroom fan - can hardly hear anything else but that fan, sticky and broken hair dryer. Breakfast very basic. Went out to the front lounge to wait for pre-ordered taxi but was approached by hotel taxi who approached every single people who sat in the area which was quite disturbing. The price quoted was very expensive too!

Review 88：This is not a 4 star hotel,it is average. As it is placed on the ground floor, everything is at one level: reception,breakfast room and rooms with # 100. It is not possible to sleap there from 6:30 because od the noise so we switched to a second floor. You can see a rat before your breakfast as they can enter really easily. The hotel is right on the street so some rooms are noisy as the hotel does not have parking in the front, you enter from the street. Staff is polite but they do not treat and help guests like im other 4 star hotels: any favour is hard to get.

Review 109：This hotel is only 3 years old, but it don't seem to us like this age. The inner look to us is more like 6-7 years old instead. The rooms are still using normal Key to open and lock, instead of using Card. We find that it is quite noisy, as we can hear outside sound very clearly. This include the hotel lift sound, peoples talking and others, as the sound proof is very bad. The showering pressure in the toilet is very small. We have to waste a lot of time during showering. The morning breakfast is quite poor, as there does not have much choice. The items are almost the same everyday.

Review 113：1= Apon arrival I had organised a pick up from the airport too the hotel , this one way ten min drive cost me 15$ American dollars that is roughly 30$ Australian and was payable at the hotel . This is extremely expensive compared to a taxi or a local driver who would only charge 5$ Australian for the same pick up service . 2= Breakfast facilities were clearly not equiped to handle the amount of customers that the hotel had booked in . Always Messy dining tables in the morning, only once did we manage to get a table that had cutlery already set out and looking nice . I was refused milk one morning for my morning coffee after asking the staff to refill the milk dispenser . I was told "no it will not be refilled" as it was to late , the time was 10:10am and I was upset at the lack of help as we all need a nice strong coffee to start the day . The room broshure clearly stated breakfast finished at 10:30am . 3= The roof top pool looked and felt amazing although there was never any staff to take drinks orders . 4= When I booked this room I was informed by the hotel that this room was a family friendly room with a cot available and an extra bed available . The extra bed I was then informed after arival would cost an extra 350'000rupia per night , I was upset and then reminded the staff of how much this package had already cost me (1500$Aus for ten days btw ) all of a sudden the price dropped to 250'000rupia Per night . The fact the price dropped so quickly upset me and I immediately told staff I have an email confirming the extra bed would be included in my package . Sadly this was not true and I felt deceived once again . After looking around at other hotels and what I payed for my stay at the royal eighteen we realised we payed far too much for what we got in our package . Sadly our next holiday in bali will not be at this hotel .

Review 114：The staff were always so friendly , greeting us every time we entered or left the hotel , this was lovely . The location was perfect . Only a 3 min walk to Kuta beach and a circle k directly opposite hotel. Restaurants right next door and all around , were good but a little expensive .

Review 115：I emailed the hotel with my booking 4 days prior arrival informed them that we will arrive at 8 am oclock and asked them to email me back if they cant check us in early, we arrive after a long flight and want to check in and the receptionist insist that he i should pay and full night with a higher rate than the one we got from booking.com, after long debate the hotel agreed to take 20$ out from the price of whole night. The feeling you get in the hotel is yes its a nice hotel but no spirit in it, I only recommend this hotel for older people, maybe families with kids but definitely not young couples. Food isn't very good and over priced

Review 137：Location is great! We can do midnight sneeking lol It is easy to find place to eat. There is KFC, McD, etc near Kuta Square. Need things? Don't worry, there is a department store behind the hotel. Staff is so friendly, we got a honeymoon decoration,didn't expect that one! So sweet. Food is good, they have All You Can Eat package, yeah!
