Boasting panoramic sea-views, a terrace and an outdoor pool, Stella Maris Resort is set in Punta Chiappa in Camogli. It also offers a a Spa and a restaurant that serves traditional Ligurian cuisine made from fresh produce.
Stella Maris is made up of a group of historic buildings where you can now find the guest rooms, most of these with a sea view. Once an old monastery from the 18th-century, one of the property's buildings still has some of its original features.
The restaurant has sea views and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the breakfast is available until 12:00. Staff can also arrange airport transfers, water-taxi rides, private boat trips or daily excursions.
You can reach the property by boat or water taxi from the port of Camogli or on foot via a panoramic footpath starting at San Rocco, a 40-minute walk away.

Review 1：no clear directions how to get there, the one and only sign marked 'Stella Maris' is located on the final climb, pointless since there is no other way. Earlier make sure to follow directions to Punto Chiappa

Review 2：Refreshing experience after overcrowded beach hotels. Far from everywhere (40 min walk time is not exagerated). Nice appartmnent in old monastery, well equipped and comfortable. Good seefood. Friendly and helpfull staff. And most of all - the views and the see :-) unforgetable

Review 3：Indication how difficult to reach it should be better explained on the website. We only found out, that it cant be reached by car upon arrival. However 40 minute hike in the complete darkness was adventure. Sometimes it's good to put yourself to test

Review 9：The peculiar location of the hotel deserves to be carefully checked before the trip. It is warmly suggested to reach the hotel by boat (if the weather permits). Going by foot is a real adventure: there are no panels at all and it is quite easy to take the wrong path. The ladder path to arrive is relatively easy but very tiring when you go back especially under the sun...having a backpack is mandatory: no way you can survive with a trolley! (And nobody will warn you in that)

Review 10：The location of the hotel is breathless, totally isolated on the promontory with a beautiful view. The terrasse of the restaurant is perfectly located.

Review 11：Shower kept turning off and there wasn't much pressure. The bed was very hard. Breakfast was very basic.
