Review 1:The hotel took an advance of 15k inr and promised me 3 sea view doubledeluxe rooms. I have detailed email communication to prove this. Onarrival on 29th Dec, the front desk staff blatantly refused and made usstay in sub-standard rooms - which had the hotel backside views. Uncleanbed linen, lights not working and severely cramped room space added toour woes from check in on 29th Dec 2015 night till check out on 1st Jan2016 night.The owner of the hotel met me on 30th Dec morning and said there's nothing he could do for an error committed by his staff. His attitude was disgusting to say the least! Items served in lunch were spoiled on two subsequent days. This place is run by unscrupulous people - out to cheat the unsuspecting common man. Please stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Review 2:The location of the property is very nice - away from the hustle bustleof old Puri and right on the beach.

Review 3:simple things like dustbin, bedside lamp, mosquito repelant was not there.

Review 5:Service was hopelessly poor. Office record keeping was very poor. The communication among the different staffs were not proper. One has to repeatedly foolw up for any job.

Review 7:They only gave free breakfast to the couple and charged for the kids. Breakfast is fixed.. puri Sabji, or alu paratha or bread butter omelett. Any one will be served as per choice and they won't repeat. They charged for using swimming pool. It's a tiny one. The tea coffee maker or kettle and tea bags were not available. They charged 3000 per night, at this price complementary use of pool and tea coffee maker is a must. Dissapointin.

Review 8:Location wise it's a good place. On the beach. Staffs were polite. They arrange chairs on the beach. Food is good.rooms are big but very basic.They arranged cars for us.

Review 9:This hotel is located far from centre, you will have to spend so much money for the road. They take 50 rupees per hour per person to swim in their swimming pool. Towels, bedsits are dirty. There are insects.

Review 10:The cleaniliness in bathroom is not attended which gives a poor stay. The water pressure is also very low.

Review 16:We arrived at Puri on 1st May and drove down to Niladri at 5 am . I had all older members with me . When I walked up to the reception and showed my Booking from Booking.com the manager of the Hotel rejected it and asked me to speak to the person ho handles for them the booking from Booking.com I had atalk with the person previous day when he requested me that if we can shift to another of their property in Puri instead of Niladri to which I said no . On arrival I tried to contact him but he was not reachable . The manager tried to contact him they spoke and Mangaer said outright I do not hve any booking since I did not make any advance I showed him the booking paper which clearly stated that thre is no advance need to be made. but then he refused to accept the booking provided by booking.com . he has been so unco-operative . Aftr some altercation I came out to look for anither hotel whoile the aged mebers of my family waited there totally confused Luckily I got rooms in Prabhupada. So I sugest all do not believe in these bookings > I will never refer anyone to Niladri hotel where we stayed atleast five times before this visit. they lost a good customer of theirs.

Review 17:The cook for dinner gave us chicken that had blood stains. When we asked to replace he gave back the same thing. When we complained to the manager, the cook came up to us in fury and started fighting with us. Also the place is very very far away from swargadwar i.e. the heart of the city and everytime we had to hire an auto to go there to shop or chill.

Review 19:The sea facing rooms are tiny and one has to compromise for the view. While the sea view rooms are spacious but one have to put a little bit of effort to view the sea as the windows are not full sea facing. So make sure your room is sea facing not sea view. The food quality is not worth remembering. But one can dine in Sreehari located just beside Niladri, their food is awesome. The swimming pool is not well maintained, and each day our request to access the pool was denied by giving excuses of power cut.

Review 20:If you want to feel the sea breeze and the waves look no further, but you have to be lucky to get a sea facing room (203). The staffs are well behaved and made us feel at home.

Review 21:Food needs improvement . In the booking site ,the offer was stated as sea facing. However, rooms are obliquely placed to have one sided sea view. The frontal sea facing rooms are there but not being alloted probably thru booking by booking .com.

Review 25:I booked via booking.com and reached at hotel he given small room,dirty too much smells. After breakfast complimentary. Hotel authority charges 250/- for breakfast. I checked in at 2am due late arrival of train and checked out 10am he charged for two day cost because 8am is checkout time, even 2% extra payment charged for card payment. Second day he morning he not allowed breakfast said you taken one extra bread butter yesterday so today not possible. Now you can understand level of services. Regards

They had no reference of my booking at the hotel The sea-view room had a side view of the sea mosquitoes in the room woken up rudely every morning at 5 am due to noise on the beach and temple sounds

Review 31:right opposite the beach, so could hear the sounds of waves at night Had booked for three nights but decided to stay only for two due to it being too noisy. They did not make too much fuss.

Review 36:Hotel Manager is so rude. First of all i booked this hotel from Booking.com where it was mentioned there is no deposit for advance booking. So i proceeded and booked it. Later i got a call from this Hotel manager and asked for At least Rs.1000/- as deposit. I informed about this to Booking.com. But i got response as Hotel is not responded you yet. Again hotel manager called me and asked why did i complain to booking.com as they are asking for deposit to confirm the booking. However he told they do not have any payment gateway, otherwise they could ask booking.com for advance deposit. I thought it is okay to pay Rs.1000/- for booking. And transferred the amount to their hotel account. And then booking.com responded me that hotel is ready for not to ask for advance deposit.But nightmare yet to start. We reached hotel at 11pm night with a 1 year kid. And they gave me a room where 1 Window AC was there and it was making sound like a hell. So i stopped the AC and tried to sleep with Fan. But Too much mosquito and they suck blood from all of us. I went down to reception to do something about this issue. Nobody was there. Morning i complained this and they asked me to change the room. I changed the room where 1 broken split AC was there. However it was working. Again problem started at midnight. AC stooped working. The power supply to AC was not working. Whole night again we slept without AC. Around 1 PM they rectified the problem and AC worked. These were the steps which i faced during my stay in this hotel.And the common issues i am mentioning below.1) Rooms are very small.2)Rooms are not clean3)Bath Rooms are not clean4)Bed sheets and pillow cover are not cleaned properly. Some kind of smell was coming from those Pillow and Bed sheets.5)Water is not clean. Better buy and drink packed bottle water.6) If you pay the bill by your card, then you have to pay extra which was not disclosed to me at the beginning.

Review 37:Some staffs are good like their security guard and restaurant boys. However sometimes i felt they are not responding properly.However behavior was good.

Inclusive breakfast is horrible. Sea view is for namesake. Booked the hotel in morning and at arrival receptionist said that they didn't clean room coz they didn't know. Booking.com gave absolute disastrous experience coz they didn't seem to do their own work prior posting the hotels online. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.
