Reviews for Discovery Holiday Parks - Clare

Review 1:The beds in our accomodation weren't the most comfortable, but we did book the cheapest cabins. The more expensive ones looked like they were pretty good....next time I'll book one of those.

Review 2:The location was great; quite close to the town and a good starting point for access to the wineries.

Review 3:None staff were excellent, cabin clean.

Review 4:The open spaces; plenty of room for children to play safely. Location good for visiting wineries etc. in the Clare Valley.

Review 5:Cabins are outdated compared to other Discovery locations we have stayed at i.e air con, no ceiling fans etc. We paid the same amount the night before for a cabin that had all the above.

Review 6:Facilities and location were great

Review 7:the shower water pressure was poor. the iron, ironing board, clock radio and hair dryer was not present in the cabin

Review 8:everything was clean. the bed was extremely comfortable. the laundry was perfect. the grounds were lovely

Review 9:We requested a BBQ a little late but while the office was still open. It would have been nice if they could have assisted us given we had booked 4 cabins. We got a very firm no as the bbq's were all locked up. It's the little things that people remember.

Review 10:The kids had a great time running around on the grass.

Review 11:We had lots of space in the cabin and the cooking facilities in the room were good. Parking was right next to the cabin. A storm came through so we didn't get to hire bicycles, but they can be hired on site. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Review 12:Very little background noise, pleasant location amongst trees, good service, comfortable cabin, working air conditioner and plenty of hotwater in the shower! Thanks for hiring bikes - we enjoyed 3 days of riding on the Rielsing trail

Review 13:Direct entry off the main road, a separate quiet and pleasant location, set next to natural bushland beauty. Grounds and open spaces were tidy and well kept.

Review 14:Didn't notice the little room heater or electric blankets on the bed til too late.. our bad! No complaints at all

Review 15:Awesome fireplace and pizza ovens in the communal bbq area

Review 16:Beds needed to have proper sheets rather than the stretched mattress protectors they had. Exhaust fan in bathroom and bedroom window-frames in bunkroom needed a good clean (as dirt ad come in through the window).

Review 17:Great outdoor area, beautiful trees.

Review 18:found the staff pleasant and the facilities clean and tidy. a very relaxing at park and you can enjoy family time eg: doing the Reisling Trail on push bikes. Close to Clare and winery surrounding the area.

Review 19:To take time in Clare (Discovery Holiday Park) after driving from WA was a welcome relief to endless driving! Staff, facilities and location excellent.

Review 20:nothing to comment

Review 21:Service is great after hours like getting the keys after 6pm, the staff will inform you how to get the keys if checking in after 6pm, this is great help specially that i dont have to worry about them while you're carrying out work on your assignment.

Review 22:Advertisement was misleading. It showed a superior cabin only alongside economy pricing - there should be a picture by each price so people know exactly what they get for their money. But I suggest that I should have asked to see accomodation before I paid!!!!

Review 23:The only complaint I had was that I was unable to operate the televisionand there was something I wanted to watch.

Review 24:All facilities were upto expectations

Review 25:Noisy air conditioner which kept changing the temperature automatically.

Review 26:Well equipped, spotless cabin. Large TV screen. Little sunny balcony with chairs & table.

Review 27:Poor hot water supply, only one person can shower, the next person need to wait until the water is heated. Kitchen pots, plates, etc. not clean Ants infested

Review 63:The only issue I have with cabins (I spend a lot of my working life lodging in caravan park cabins due to my job) is most come with a double bed . In my opinion every cabin should come with a Queen size bed.
