Review 1：The staff of the Residence is very friendly and positive. They are always ready to help their guests. The apartment was spacious, thoroughly cleaned and prepared for us. It was comfort enough. The mini-kitchen had all the basic utensils for cooking, making coffee. The location is great - 10 min walking from the port, 2 supermarkets are near, and also beautiful squares and streets with all shops, caffe and restaurants. Great deal for those price! We definitely will chose Residence Favignana for the next time.

Review 2：We had difficulty in connecting to the wi-fi in our apartment...we had to go down to the reception to get connected.

Review 8：The apartment was clean and well furnished. The location is good not far from the center. The staff is very helpful and the residence offers to rent bikes.

Review 9：The water from shower or sink was salty! Impossible to wash Yourself, to feel clean! In 4 days no room-service, had to go after clean towels ourselves. Bed and pillows were hard - uncomfortable. And You could hear all the time everything/one around! Noisy

Review 11：The large burner on the electric stove in the kitchen was so weak that,with the setting on 'high', it took over an hour to get thepasta water to come to a boil. Also, on our second night the airconditioner in the bedroom gave out. Without it, our sleep was very pooras there was little breeze coming through the wide-open windows, butmany, many mosquitos! However, once the necessary maintenance iseffected on the stove and the ac, a stay at Residence Favignana would bevery convenient and comfortable - and then I would not hesitate torecommend it.

Review 12：The location of Residence Favignana is very convenient, as it is an easywalk to the central piazza for a morning cappuccino or an afternoongelato... And there are many restaurants and shops to explore. The portis teaming with fishermen selling fresh (ie still moving) fish eachmorning that can be brought back to your own kitchen to be cooked fordinner. Just a 2-minute walk around the corner from the Residence is awell-stocked supermarket where you can get just about anything. And,best of all...just five minute's bike ride in the opposite directionyou will find yourself on a fabulous sandy beach for swimming andsnorkling. Although more expensive than B&B's on the mainland,the advantage of the Residence is that the well-equipped kitchen allowsyou to save money by preparing your own meals. The bed was verycomfortable and the bedding and towels were good quality. Bicycles weremade available for rent (4 Euros per day) and this made travel all overthis beautiful island very easy. Cycling along the island'sroadways, which are rarely hilly, and have minimal car traffic was ahighlight of the stay in Favignana.

Review 13：there were only blunt table knives in the kitchen - cutting a melon was a real challenge.

Review 14：Location is perfect - all you may need is in 2 minute walk. You can rent bikes and scooters right at the place.

Review 15：We were very disgruntled on the whole as had paid 156 euro for one nightin a self catering apartment which would have got you a 4 star hotel inmost other countries in Europe. Staff seemed too busy to make extramoney from us to actually treat us as paying guests. We had foundthrough booking.com and made it clear on booking form we wanted to paycash on arrival but when we got there they had already taken the paymenton a card. This was irritating as we then have to pay extra to our bankfor using the card abroad so that was also an issue. We didn'tarrive until about 3pm and asked about bike hire which was actually only5 euro for a day per bike but they still wanted the full amount knowingthat we would only get a couple of hours use. We weren't botheredabout the money it was the principle. What difference would an extra 10euro really have made to them. To us they were just being awkward. Alsoas we only booked one night we made no use of self catering and ate outas too late to start shopping etc for one night. Very overpriced forwhat you get. It is really just a campsite with apartments instead oftents. Overall disappointing.

Review 17：Not really a dislike but like many places in Europe, there is a limiter on the hot water tank so shower quickly! If this place had a pool, it would be amazing. We got stuck in a backroom as well (34, I believe). You will not have a wifi connection back there. There are other connections available but they are for adjacent properties and the office. At 150 euro a night, a wifi signal should not have been an issue but we were told we would have to go out into the courtyard to get one. Other rooms do not have this issue so make sure you ask if internet access is something you rely on.

Review 19：The one downside: english was spoken by only one person, and it was not so easy to be communicate with him. You’d better learn some italian before coming.

Review 20：Close to the town center, very nice and quiet appartment, with two terraces (with no intimacy though), very large for two people and with confortable beds. It was clean but we had nothing to wash the dishes. The hotel is close to the town center and a small supermarket (5min walking) and to the sea (10min). The people at the reception are nice and will help you whenever they can (they provide services like bike rentals).

Review 38：After just a few minutes of showering the power went off because the hot water boiler was too hot. The manager made it in just a few minutes!! Very helpful! A disadvantage, you have hot water for showering max. 10 minutes.

Please use the following walking directions to reach the residence from Favignana's Port, Molo San Leonardo:- Go straight ahead and turn right toward Via Florio- After about 260 ft, turn right onto Via Florio- After about 295 ft, continue onto Piazza Europa- Cross the Piazza and make a left onto Via Vittorio Emanuele III, which becomes Via Roma- Continue to follow Via Roma, which becomes Via delle Muse, then Via Capuana. At the fork in the road, go left- After about 325 ft, there is the residence on the left
