Review 1：1. One of the worst sound proofing ever: Every sound in the corridor - people chatting, utensils being washed in the kitchen, phone ringing at the reception and other rooms could be easily heard in our room. This can be a real issue for light sleepers.2. Below par housekeeping: The staff cleaning the room was pretty casual. Corners were generally ignored and no one believed in dusting. On one occasion even the quilt was too dirty.3. Broken WiFi: While the hotel offers a 'complimentary' WiFi, more often than not the userid and password provided by the reception failed to login. Even when we were able to login, the signal was too weak for us to use the internet properly. After multiple attempts, we ended up relying on the data services of our mobile networks.4. No coherence among the reception staff: We received a call a day before our check-in saying that we will get a complimentary pickup and drop from and to the railway station (which is a distance of just 1.4 kms). Even on the day of the arrival, the lady at the reception confirmed the free pickup and asked us to call back just before we were about to reach. However when we called, we were asked to take an auto and get a reimbursement during the final settlement. However, at the end of our stay, when asked about a free drop, we were told that the hotel offers no such complimentary services. We wondered who was that lady we spoke to? Or did the hotel change its policy within a few days? Also the reception staff appears to be working in an auto pilot mode and doesn't even bother to smile at customers.5. Waiters forever expect you to tip: While the overall service of the staff on the floor wasn't bad, what we hated was the awkward silence and smile with which almost everyone waited after each service (even after basic room service and housekeeping jobs).6. Inconsistent meals: The same items when ordered on two different instances tasted and looked different.

Review 2：We stayed at Hotel Holiday Resort for a week and planned to use it as a base to explore both Puri and Bhubaneswar. While this hotel has tried to put together everything necessary to create a holistic experience, it is unfortunate that without a clear sense of customer delight, it falls flat at multiple levels. However, not everything was bad. Some of the aspects which I liked was the hotel's proximity to the beach, a reliable travel desk and a reasonably good spa experience.

Review 3：While reached at Puri Station early at 5.00 AM, there was no pick-up service even though it was reminded through E-Mail and phone,. Even on same morning the contact no. was switched off. When reported to MD, Mr.Patra, he has taken as casual. New visitor reaching at Puri early morning will real face the problem if pick-up service is not available even after reminder.

Review 5：When we checked in, the room had bad smell due to smoking. Hopefully they will take care in future.

Review 9：They had a 20% discount for members. Though I was given a valid membership card, the discount was not extended when I settled the food bill. That was weird. I was too bored to escalate the issue. If you are staying here, keep that in mind. 20% is good money to save :)

Review 15：We shifted to a higher grade room, but they did not allow any discounts ,where as your rate of the cottages were less than what was charged ,that too go two nights . Braeakfast was limited to 200/- rupees per person. Any food items taken beyond 200/- was fully charged per person. This is a new experience ,nowhere in the world you can limit breakfast intake to certain price in CP plan.

Review 32：If you wished to go to Mayfair and found the tag a tad bit expensive, this hotel will be the next one to look at, convenient, private beaches, beautiful room, good clean beds etc. We had fun here.

Review 34：Reception was kind to change our room from double dlx to a family room. Food was excellent. People working in the reception, restaurant and bell boys are very friendly and helpful.

Review 35：Hotel Room: The room we got was full of cig smoke. We requested for a change. And in second room we got bedsheets weren't clean. Bathroom interiors were that of a 2 or 1 star hotel. TV remote wasn't working or worked with a great struggle. Very limited channels were there to see on TV. Electricity cut off was very frequent. Restaurant: Food was good but with very limited variety. Staff was uncultured. They were standing on your head to pick up your plates and dishes. Restaurant's overall ambiance was poor. It was a huge hall with furniture in it. Style of serving dishes was also not very decent. They were dropping food on our clothes while serving. Other facilities: Receptionist was with poor communication skills. He wasn't respecting his customers. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were just for the sake of it. Overall Experience: Very disappointing.

Review 36：Location was very nice. Resort provided a private beach to enjoy. Also, hotel room was having very nice beach view. Food was good.

Review 37：No hot water for shower in the evening. Not very friendly in restaurant. Not a comfortable hotel for elderly couple as too many steps at the same level. Services of Lemonade spa was not fair. It mentioned massage for one hour in brochure but actual massage was only for 40 mins, rest of the time was for shower n rest. This should be clearly mentioned otherwise one feels cheated.

Review 38：Sea beach in the back of the hotel. Food was good too but no buffet for breakfast hence they overcharged us in CP plan.

Review 39：The room types are over exaggerated. I stayed in a family room which was too small for a family. There is hardly any space beside the beds to walk. No internet facility was available in the room though it was supposed to be provided. I had to give several reminders to speak with the manager on the issue. After several reminders I was able to speak with the manager in the evening. Surprisingly there was no regret shown by him instead he said being a complimentary service it may not be available. He also said these are the budget category rooms and so they are supposed to be like this. I tried to reach out to Booking.com also by phone as well as email, but no action demonstrated. Overall it was the most horrible stay I ever had though I stayed in a resort.

First night we have cockroaches in our bedroom, then they changed the room the next day and there was short circuit in the hotel due to which one part of the hotel had no power. We had no power for almost an entire day (evening and entire night). With the summer heat, it was horrible and the staff member were also not cooperating. Also, please note the bedsheets in the bedrooms are all stained with blood or mud, and bathroom pots are also stained. Maintenance is horrible. In short,we had a horrible experience with Holiday Resort, Puri.

Review 82：We had a senior with us and the level changes and lack of guard rails were a problem for her. The bathrooms in the 4 seater rooms are too small. There is too little space in the 4 seater rooms for people to move about. The corridors are too narrow and the system of drying laundry along the corridor is rather tacky.

Review 84：Credit card terminal did not accept my Visa at the time of check-out - just wanted to note that some cash need to be kept just in case to cover such issue. Need to note though that pesonnel offered help and even took me to several ATM's in Pury, so finally issue was solved.

The staffs were useless ; service almost zero ; no hospitality; only renovated the Reception but Rooms are very stinking and value of money was almost nil . The Rooms are worth paying Rs 1500/ but they charge around Rs 4000/;. I was a loyal customer since 1985 and used to visit every two years this time I found the staffs were lazy; greedy for tips ; very bad welcome at recption ; rooms were dirty
