Review 1：We were there for six days in the height of summer – every day was in excess of 38° and so the advertised air conditioning, described specifically as such on the website, was extremely disappointing when it turned out to be a slow-moving and noisy overhead fan in each of the bedrooms and nothing in any other parts of the apartment, making them uninhabitable towards the evening each day - and cooking an impossibility. There were no fly-wire screens on any but the kitchen window and this meant that mosquitoes the size of bumblebees feasted liberally on us. Take large quantities of fly spray if you plan to be there in summer. The apartment is only 6 km from Florence but incessant and badly signposted roadworks (not the fault of the owners, by the way) meant that the journey frequently took 30 to 45 minutes even with a navi and involved plenty of frustration and frayed tempers.

Review 2：The two bedroomed apartment we had was full of character, simply furnished in the Tuscan manner. The location made access to the vineyards of Tuscany very easy (although a car was essential) and returning to a lovely swimming pool at the end of a hot day was very pleasant. The location is very peaceful and the views across the valleys were delightful. A number of small villages and towns are nearby and there are some excellent restaurants in the region although you must have a car to access them.

Review 3：No shade for the car, which ment it got very very hot! Many mosquitos - one would need a net over each bed... Noisy aircondition. You need a car, too far to walk from public transport.

Review 4：What a lovley place! An old farm turned into vacation apartments, beautiful surroundings, still very close to Florence. We had a two bed room apartment with a livingroom and a very spacious kitchen. The pool area was wondeful. The host was very helpful. We could wash our clothes in the washingmachine.

Review 10：We really loved our stay, but some things to be aware of - no air conditioning, and no window screens, so if you keep the windows open (we did)you might have a few bugs visiting. I wasn't bad in late July (pretty hot though even with windows open and ceiling fan). No easy way to Firenze if you don't want to drive - no train from Grassina or nearby villages.

Review 11：The manager was wonderful - friendly and helpful. Apartment was huge (a little bit of an echo because of stone and high ceilings) with everything needed for self-catering. Lovely atmosphere and views. Pool and nice grounds - very good for relaxing with family. Away from the city if that's what you are looking for. Parking free onsite (need to climb some stairs) - really need a car.

Review 12：Brochure and website promise air conditioning which they don't have. They have a ceiling fan in each bedroom. Luckily the nights were cool enough to sleep comfortably.

Review 15：These are apartments in the countryside outside of Florence. It is a 20 minute walk to Grassina where you will find a bakery, cheese shop, vegetable store, and a few restaurants. You can also get the bus to Florence which takes 30-45 minutes. I would recommend having a car, although many in our group managed without one. The views from the apartments are fantastic and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is great, and the apartments are large and comfortable. I hope to go back sometime soon.
