Reviews for Cavalluccio Marino
Review 1:The couple that owned it was super sweet and we loved them! But they didn't speak a lot of English so there was a slight language barrier. Also the wifi didn't work while we were there which was a big inconvenience.
Review 2:It was very cozy and quiet and perfect for us.
Review 3:Nothing
Review 4:Everything, we couldn't be made more welcome, it's a home away from home and we were only there for a few days. Bed was comfy, Breakfast was great and a great location to the centre of anacapri. Grazie Jospehina you made our week x
Review 5:Language barrier of English to italian was tough. Their credit card operation didn't work so we had to pay in cash which put a damper on our cash budget but they were very helpful with us trying to figure it all out.
Review 6:Loved this bed and breakfast. The family was so kind and sweet. We really enjoyed the free breakfast and homemade pastries. The location in anacapri was great! The couple was extremely helpful with sites to see as well.
Review 7:I would suggest two big bottles of shampoo and shower gel instead of packages, but this is not critical.
Review 8:Location is just some mt from Anacapri town/bus stop. Beautiful garden, cosy rooms and unbelievably tasty home cooking food for breakfast! Owners are very friendly and will help you with anything you ask.
Review 9:Would have valued facilities to make tea/coffee.
Review 10:Very friendly and helpful host & hostess Fresh pastries every morning Good wifi Small fridge
Review 11:The room on the ground floor has no view and is a bit dark since only has a door. Not a problem if you stay all day sightseeing. Breakfast at the gazebo may be chilly if the weather is windy or raining, otherwise in summer days is very nice. Suggestion: install shower towels hangers in the bathroom.
Review 12:Very kind and nice host. Spacious, confortable and clean room. Fresh pastries for breakfast. Short walk to Anacapri center.
Review 13:We really enjoyed our stay at Cavallucio Marino. It was very close to Anacapri's main street and the rooms were furnished to a very nice standard. The family who run the place live above the accomodation and were incedibly friendly and helpful with any issues we had. Breakfast each morning featured freshly baked Italian pastries and all tasted wonderful. We felt this B&B had a real personal touch to it and it made our stay very pleasant. We felt this was very good value for money compared to the cost of other accomodation in Capri.
Review 14:Excellent stay!
Review 15:The washbasin drain was not working properly, but was usable nevertheless.
Review 16:The hotel staff did their best to meet my needs.
Review 17:Very friendly people and nice cats! I liked having breakfast in the sun!
Review 18:We visited Capri in January and it was really cold but our bedroom was very well heated and very comfortable.
Review 19:The hostess and host...warm and so welcoming...and so xaring! Quiet and serene and no steps to location! ! Big plus...had great fun with hostess...loved Josephine and her husband...very sad to leave them!
Review 20:Only sweeties for breakfast. We had to ask for juice, and got 2 little box of juice.
Review 21:Good location, two minutes from Piazza Victoria, and five minutes walk from the bus stop to Farro os Grotta Azurro.. The apartment was perfect, everything beautiful, and clean. The photographs cannot show the real high quality of the furniture/equipment, and the design. The host family is very friendliy. Only Giuseppina speaks English, but not much. We can understand each other. We got information from her about the sights. Breakfast had good quality, not continental style, but the quantity was acceptable.
Review 22:Leaving!
Review 23:This was the nicest b&b we have ever stayed in. We were made to feel at home. The facilities were comfortable and the breakfast was incredible...freshly baked pastries and coffee/tea each morning. The location is fantastic because you feel that you are away from all of the tourists but in a convenient place for travel around the island. A five minute walk takes you to the stops for the grotta azzurra and faro.
Review 24:Nothing! Everything was great!
Review 25:Giuseppina welcomed us so nicely! The apartment was perfect, everythingnew and beautiful, better than the photographs! Frankly, the picturesdon't do it justice! We spent 2 nights there during our 2-week tripto Italy and I can say for sure it was the best place we stayed inItaly! Breakfast was delicious (although everything was sweet, wishthere was something "salty" as well). Very close to the mainsquare in Anacapri. Great great place! Giuseppina does not speak muchEnglish but as we're Brazilians we managed to communicate very wellwith her. Very nice experience.
Review 26:Te B&B is very well located not far from the centre of Anacapri which is a lot quieter (and nicer) than Capri. The rooms are of fair size, quite bright and nicely decorated, even though a bit limited for storage space (only one small wardrobe and no drawers) and, most importantly, very clean. Breakfast is "delivered" by the landlady at an agreed time and usually served on the terrace just outside the room, but when we stayed there it was pretty cold and it was no problem to take the table inside the room for breakfast. As regards value for money in this overprized area you cab hardly do better.
Review 27:This small b&b is located on a quiet lane in Anacapri, only a 5 min walk from the main square down a beautiful leafy lane. You would never know you are near the main square with all its tour groups. The room and bath were beautifully decorated with tiled floors. Breakfast was good, baked by the lovely owner, Josepina. She and her husband are delightful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 28:The hotel is run by a family who were very friendly but they did not know English and they did not have a map. There is no mobile signal inside the room and also around the hotel.
Review 29:The scenery around the hotel was good. The room was very clean and tidy. The painted tiles on the floor was good.
Review 30:Everything was simply perfect! Giusepina and Antonino were very warm and kind and gave us several good tips. Would definitely come back!
