Reviews for Agriturismo Sant'Alfonso
Review 1:The only complaint we had during our stay was that the beds were very uncomfortable. We realized the day before we left that you can ask them for addition mattress covers, but I'm not sure they would've made the bed much more comfortable.
Review 2:The staff was incredibly welcoming and the property was beautiful with breathtaking views overlooking the amalfi coast. They put out a very nice spread for breakfast and the restaurant on the property was amazing! The drive up to the place (or any place in that area) is quite intense, so be prepared! If you are getting there via car, they do have parking on site.
Review 3:Takes 20 minutes to get above the costline road or a half hour bus.
Review 4:This place is amazing. Make sure you're not missing it on your trip. Amazing view on top of the mountain above Amalfi. The resort is wonderful and was previously a sort of a castle. The staff were very nice. Best of all, the food was amazing. Be sure to stay for a dinner - it was the best dinner we have had in Italy.
Review 5:This property was spectacular and a hidden treasure!! We found it at the last minute and felt like we had hit the jackpot. It was away from the crowds of tourist seen in Amalfi and Positano providing a wonderful tranquil, serene backdrop within a 20 minute drive from the madness of those 2 towns. We had a car but I believe a bus stop is nearby. Laying on the rooftop hammocks while the sun was setting felt like a piece of heaven. The staff (Antonio especially) were super pleasant and beyond accommodating. Dinner was delicious, abundant and quite a bargain...not to mention the ambiance of the dining room. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to be there while a wedding reception was taking place...oh my...beauty beyond words. They also make their own wine, olive oil and jarred eggplant....yummy!! I would highly recommend a stay here and am looking forward to my return.
Review 6:Michele, the owner, is amazing. She organized my entire wedding via email. The location was beautiful! And most of all they were a family that lives there and works the land and the property, which has been in her family for many generations, but are still unintrusive. Amazing amazing experience! I couldn't have asked for more.
Review 7:I can't think of a thing.
Review 8:Nikola, his family and his staff made our stay totally pleasurable and hassle free. The location and views are beautiful. The food is top notch (so good we ended up eating there every night). I would definitely recommend and also visit again.
Review 9:The location is stunning, although a little out of the way so you may need a car. Alternatively there are buses that stop a 15 minute walk from the property. The food and wine grown on site is beautiful. The staff are wonderful.
Review 10:The hotel is located down a hill and 120 steps which you are warned about before so be prepared to hike!! I would recommend hiring a car if you stay here as the bus service was terrible on the first day three buses drove past us due to being full and the next bus was 3 hours later so we walked 2.5 hours to get into amalfi. There is nothing we didn't like about the hotel its self though its amazing
Review 11:Our whole stay at the hotel was amazing :) the staff are wonderful and nothing was ever too much. The prices of food and drink are brilliant and the views are out of this world. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the hot tub is a lovely added bonus!! Thank you for making our honeymoon so great.
Review 12:Leaving. Why can't all hotels be as good as this?
Review 13:We loved this gorgeous farm hotel. This is a comfortable no frillsplace, that stands out for its exceptional food (home cooked usingingredients from the garden), incredible views, and warm friendlywelcome. Perfect for an 'authentic' Italian experience. Locatedoverlooking Furore, with ample free parking, this was a great base toexplore the Amalfi coast. The hotel is set back from the road - a quietand intimate, romantic setting. As an added bonus it is close to thestart of the famous Path of the Gods hiking trail. We would come back ina heartbeat
Review 14:Outstanding home cooked meals and cakes. Warm and hospitable owners. Friendly staff. Amazing location.
