Reviews for Hotel Villa Serena
Review 1:-poorly working air con - location, you really need a car or like walking in scorching weather - little let down, need some update - not very clean, although we had clean towels every day - tiny pool - not entertainment, should have one as there is enough space and it's far from the city andwould be nice to occupy the guests in the evenings -breakfast, every day the same, no vegetables even they're so cheap in this country, only one kind of cereal I knew the hotel wasn't perfect, but with the score of 7.1 (at the time of booking) i was expecting more.
Review 2:-The view of Vesuvius from the balcony, but only as it was 4th floor -balcony -small fridge -well working wifi - helpful staff - parking, although the gate either was opened late or close when people try to get out
Review 3:We went by car and used our GPS so we did not have a problem to find it. Not sure if it would be easy to reach without a car as it is a bit up hills and not so close to the center.
Review 4:Big, clean room with a small balcony, a fridge and comfortable beds and bathroom. Free private parking, a rather basic breakfast and a nice terrace at the lobby for taking a drink.
Review 5:Air con was blowing out hot air after being used for a while which meant bad quality of sleep. It was a 15 minute walk to the castellemmare di stabia train station. Breakfast was extremely limited and the same every morning. Don't go to the restaurant for lunch or dinner due to under resourced staff who need training and very small meals. Wine was overpriced also.
Review 6:The hotel was obviously quite old but suitable if you're looking for basic budget accommodation. The pool was a good advantage. Cleaning staff were thorough. The view of mt. Vesuvius from the balcony was good. Wifi was fast and good connection.
Review 7:The area is kind of dodgy make sure you read reviews before booking in this area. Breakfast is pretty basic, but most breakfasts in Italy are.
Review 8:Easy and affordable. Good wifi Friendly staff
Review 9:Noise resonated through the ceilings. Went to breakfast at 0800 and all rolls and eggs had gone.
Review 10:Clean and tidy with helpful staff.
Review 11:A little difficult to find even with GPS
Review 12:Quiet location, nice friendly staff and the best breakfast so far in Italy.
Review 13:The location was not the best if you didn't have a car, but fine if you did have one.
Review 14:The staff was outstanding. Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. They helped us with some day tours and were very accommodating. The restaurant was great, and the staff very attentive towards our needs - the food was good as well.
Review 15:The view of Mt Vesuvius out of our window. The very helpful staff and the evening meals.
