Review 1：The breakfast is good but could be improved introducing fresh products (fresh croissants, homemade pies, ...).

Review 2：Traditional and fascinating Capri house (" Casa Caprese"). B&B is lovely and very clean, My room was nice, clean and wide. The hospitality is 5 stars: Gianluca is a myth!!!! Central position in Anacapri, well connected to go around the island.

Review 5：The environment is beautiful. It is very close to the centre of Anacapri. Bustation, chair lift station is in 2 minutes of walk. Gianluca is very helpful and kind! If we go back to Anacapri, it is sure we will choose this place again.

Review 7：The location is easy to be found. It's near the bus stop and the chair lift. The room was cleaned everyday during my stay. They also provided the best Italian breakfast that I ever had in Italy. I would give 10/10 to the host for their generosity, passion and helpfulness.

Review 8：Part of its charm is its location which could also be described as challenging to find. Be sure to have a good understanding of where it is on a map before arrival. Landlord however was very kind in coming to rescue us!

Review 12：A lovely place with spacious rooms, and very clean. Nice breakfast, good location. I liked that it was close to some vineyards, which only a few minutes from buses.

Review 19：We enjoyed everything about the Mediterraneo Guest House. The location was within an easy 5 minute walk of the bus stop in Anacapri (note this is not the stop at Piazza Vittoria but the next stop after it). Our host was very nice and helpful in suggesting activities for us as first-time visitors to the island. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and hearty and provided a great start for our day. The courtyard was lovely and provided a peaceful place to sit and relax. We will gladly stay here again when we next visit Capri.

Really nice guesthouse, beautiful yard, good room. Good location, near the bus station to Faro (lighthouse), Grotte l'Azurre and pathway or funicular to biggest mountain Monte Solare. The distance between Capri and Anacapri around 7 minutes by bus. We suggest at least 5 days stays in Capri, as there is a lot to see.

Review 38：Breakfast was rather sparse. A family lived upstairs from us - a lot of tromping around the first night. Location was rather far up some back alleys. Did not want wife or daughter walking there at night.

Review 40：We wanted to send a portion of our Christmas in a sall Italian village. The Mediterraneo was perfect, located on a small lane, just above Anacapri. It was an easy walk to anywhere in the village. The bus stop, three minutes away, takes you anywhere on the island. Of course the owners treated us like family. We loved our Anacapr holiday.

Review 47：1) Inadequate supply of hot water, and 2) The garden pictured in the property photos, is not a private garden attached to any room. It is a shared space, accessable from 2 of the 4 rooms. We got a room without a window-- it looked out to a blind spot, which contained a skylight.

Review 48：Our Host Luca was an excellent host. Very knowledgeable about the area, very friendly. Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast was great--fresh breads, croissants, granola, yogurt meats, cheeses, fruits, marinated eggplant/zuccini, etc. Lots of choices. Refridgerator and hot water heater (for coffee/tea) available in room. Great location, convenient to all!

Review 51：Gianluca, our host, was very friendly and gave us good tips on where to go on the island. We loved the blue light in the courtyard at night and the chairs for lounging while waiting for your loved one(s) to get ready. The breakfast was pretty good too. The room was clean and had everything we needed, coffee, tea, sugar, hot water pot, flat screen TV, wifi extender. There was even a safe, but key was not provided, we could have requested but did not need it.

Review 56：The room was spacious. It had all the minimum comfort that most chain hotels have. The owner is a family and very attentive to your needs. I had read this in the reviews and I experienced it to be true. They helped me also with every bit of organizing my tour. They cleaned my room every single day of my stay at no extra cost; even if I was late to leave my room and it had already past the working hours of the house keeper. They were very flexible with the check out time too. In brief....a very comfortable stay with assistance tailored to your needs.

Review 62：It was exactly what we had hoped for - and more. I imagine some people would rather stay in a more upmarket place with bar, pool and so on. But we enjoy simpler accommodation where we can get to know the local people.

Review 63：1. The owner was there to meet and greet us. Gianluca gave us useful information on where to go, how to plan our walking tour of the island, and suggested several restaurants for us to try. 2. Our room was a surprise - bedroom and bathroom plus a small kitchen and outside the back door a tiny clothesline. It was wonderful to hang our washed clothes in the sunshine and fresh air. 3. Gianluca prepared and served our breakfast. He made excellent cappucchino, and happily gave us two each. 4. The Mediterraneo is a pleasant walk away from the busy little piazza. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We even had a small terrace with seating outside the front door.

Review 64：Nice place and good alternative for the ones who wants to enjoy Anacapri. Beautiful place, quiet, and very close to the bus station. We enjoyed very much there, more quiet and local atmosphere, than Capri itself. Walk distance from the old town and great restaurants with stunning food! Really worth it!

Review 68：The breakfast room wasn't very nice. When you go there by taxi, the taxi can't drive in Via Caposcuro because it's a very narrow street. Via de Tommaso is the big road and not far from Via Caposcuro.

Review 69：It was in Anacapri which I liked more than the Capri town. The front yard was pretty with flowers and statues. Staff was very helpful when I came and gave me a map and showed all the places I should visit. Good breakfast!! Very close to the chair lift that takes you up to Monte Solaro (It's really worth going up there!!). Also near to Villa San Michele by foot. Quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful tiles in the room and bathroom:)

Review 70：The location is excellent for visiting Anacapri. I divided my stay onCapri between Capri and Anacapri and I think it was wise as the bus tripback and forth is crowded and takes your time. The host at theMediterraneo is very friendly, speaks English, and was very helpful withdirections, suggestions on things to do and places to see. I would staythere again.

Review 73：There was nothing negative to say about the guesthouse itself but onlyabout one restaurant called Barbarossa which is on the main square inAnacapri. They serve disgusting food (frozen food from the supermarketis better) and they rip you off. They don't give you the drink list withthe prices and you end up paying 3 euros for a small water! Do not go tothat restaurant.
