Review 5：For the food we would go elsewhere next time.The kitchen lacks creativity and originality. Food service feels like routine. price is relatively low, but it doesn't cost anything to be creative. At last we stopped dining there. The salad buffet was unispiring both in lay-out and quality and contents. the only variation seemed to be beans/corn. The food was more or less the same every day with a different sauce or some lonely fish swimming in the risotto or spaghetti. Breakfast was exactly the same every day. Not once a different item and surprisingly no fresh seasonal fruit like plums or peaches. Quite boring after 7 days. Better a higher price for dinner or one dish less for the same price. And please: some variation!!

Review 8：We spent 2 lovely relaxing nights in this hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was tasty and varied. The swimming pool is small, but very clean. The hotel is in a very quiet location near the beach, the shops and restaurants. This is a beautiful peaceful area and ideal for quiet walks and easy cycles.

Hotel perfect size and contained within nice compact compound for family with young children, as we were (no worries about children getting lost). Would recommend and definitely revisit.
Review 13：Getting there! We traveled via rail not with a car so the last part of the journey was the most difficult. Recommend to anyone doing the same to take the train to Viareggio & then a taxi as it's about the same distance as Pietrasanta station but there are taxi's waiting outside whereas we were suddenly in a quiet station with no taxi & no clue how to find one! Luckily I rang the hotel & they ordered one for us...
Review 14：The food! We'd booked half board and I was expecting a mediocre dinner buffet in the evenings. However the menu choices were all made at breakfast time and there was great choice everyday. Staff were all very helpful. Reception staff were very good with supplying us with maps, directions, train times etc.

Review 24：Staff could not have been better from the night portor w hen we arrived to the housekeeping staff made our stay a great experience. Reception staff went out of their way above the call of duty to help sort out a parking ticket. They rang police to explain our situation and then arranged to pay fine at post office(I left cash)and posted receipt to me. We will defiantly return.

Review 40：I stayed at the Venezia with my wife for six nights, using it as a basefor touring the area. We did not use the restaurant for our eveningmeals preferring to eat out in the town at different places eachevening. I am therefore unable to review the food in the restaurant inthe evening however, the breakfasts were plentiful, of good quality if alittle boring after a few days. The pool area was spotlessly clean andvery quiet most days making it a pleasant place to relax. Our room wasspacious, extremely clean with excellent air conditioning. The hotelstaff were very courteous and helpful. In particular the reception staffwent out of their way to help me in choosing places to visit and givingdirections. All in all a very nice place to stay.
Review 41：On ariving after a long journey with a baby, we were made to feel very welcome and began to relax immediately due to the friendly reception staff. Our room was spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast room was welcoming and very well organised; our table was waiting for us every morning complete with high chair. Although there was limited hot food, there was plenty of choice and variety each morning. The pool area was well maintained and very calming. The hotel had plenty of parking spaces and also hired out bicycles. We had a very relaxing stay and would consider this hotel again in the future.

Thelocation of the hotel is along a quiet side street, set back from theroad in its own grounds but is only a short walk (5-10 mins) to thebeach, shops and restaurants. The buffet breakfast covered a wide choiceincluding cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as coldmeats, cheese, rolls, croissants and cakes. Free wi-fi was availablethroughout the entire hotel. The free car park was secured at night -gates were locked at midnight but reception staff were available 24hoursif guests returned to the hotel past this time. The swimming pool areawas very clean and the sun loungers were of a very good quality.
