Reviews for Relais Villa Grazianella

Review 1:The location is a bit remote. The room although comfortable in all other respects had no chairs to relax in and was slightly chilly on damp days (we were there for 8 nights at the end of September). It would have been nice to have a lounge in which to read for an hour or two . More a B&B than a hotel . No English tv channels. Wi Fi intermittent and not accessible from room.

Review 2:The scenery was exceptional, the staff were extremely obliging and efficient ,the food was excellent and good value..

Review 3:Internet was out the first night. No hair conditioner provided for the shower

Review 4:The property was beautiful, and we enjoyed great wine and a wonderful dinner there. Montepulciano was one of our favorite towns ro visit, and it's only about 10 minutes away (by car).

Review 6:Amazing place! I have never been something similar before. Perfect location with beautiful view. Serving real home made food in an outstanding manner. I was really surprised by the quality and value for money of this place.

Review 7:We liked everything, very nice and warm welcome, fantastic location, great wines and food. Great stay and for sure we will come back on our next tour to Italy.

Review 8:the shower/bath was not easily acceaaible because of a half hanging screen ( not well attached).

Review 9:Location, very helpful staff that showed a high degree of flexibility to accomodate our needs! Very nice swimming pool and comfortable rooms. On site restaurant is very convenient for families with small children!

Review 10:The entire staff was more than accommodating. Our skill with the Italian language is very limited but that was no obstacle, the staff went the extra mile to help us communicate and understand. This was probably the cleanest and most comfortable room I can remember staying in for quite some time. Lastly, the food and wine were simply superb!

Review 11:Wi-Fi connection should be improved

Review 12:Comfortable and silent room with wonderful view. Perfect spot for romantic Toscana sunset. Very very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived the villa late in the evening when the kitchen was almost closed and the hotel and kitchen staff still tried their best to prepare yummy dinner for us, we were really grateful for what they had done. We had a very pleasant stay at this villa.

Review 13:Everything. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were beautiful. The setting is just spectacular. And the outdoor pool enhanced the stay. The capstone was the availability of very moderately-priced wines for purchase at the estate.

Review 14:Difficult to find even with our GPS. In the town of Acquaviva.

Review 15:We had a very large room with a 4 post bed overlooking beautiful Tuscan scenery. Traditional Tuscan style house, kept extremely clean. Good breakfast, staff helpful but does not speak too much English.

Review 16:Such a beautiful location! The staff was very friendly and even offered caffe when we got in! Very comfortable and clean! We will definitely be going back!

Review 17:Although advertising a wine tasting room and dining room (both of which looked very nice) we never saw the tasting room open and the dining room was closed one night of our stay and booked for a private party the next night of our stay. One of the staff took the extra effort to make us a cheese plate to take to our room so we can't complain too much!

Review 18:The location is fantastic--- surrounded by vineyards. Updated rooms in a villa with beautiful views. Terrific breakfast and welcoming staff.

Review 19:Did not have opportunity to visit their winery or to have dinner on site (they don't have dinner every evening). Staff do not speak English very well, but somehow we managed to communicate! Wonderful people.

Review 20:I was traveling with my daughter, and they accommodated us in a wonderful twin bed room. Very spacious and extremely comfortable. Location was in the middle of vineyards, so very picturesque! Wonderful coffee and breakfast in the AM!

Review 21:- There were constantly problems with Wi-Fi :( - If you state in description "bikes available - you can take bikes at the hotel" - please state these are children bikes and haven't beed maintained for 10 years !! - staff could improve English a little to communicate about very basic things

Review 22:- Dinners were very good and with good price - Rooms are outstanding, very spacious and comfortable - Great localisation, in the middle of the countryside with amazing views !! I recommend to take a walk through the fields between vineyards. -

Review 23:This was the best accommodation on our Tuscanny tour.Hospitality was great only surpassed by the vineyards wine.Truly an amazing experience with Montepulciano visible on a surrounding hill.

Review 24:Nothing

Review 25:Everything, just a lovely villa for those who want a country getaway. Could not fault the service and accommodation. The location is wonderful.

Review 26:Patrizia and Allessandra were so very kind towards our family. We were extremely impressed with their care. Such a beautiful part of the world Thank you for your hospitality.

Review 27:It was hard to find, but after stopping at 4 different places, we found it!

Review 28:The staff were wonderful with us, and even made us an impromptu lunch when we arrived mid-afternoon, but starving! The grounds are beautiful, the view amazing, and the food was fantastic.

Review 29:It was not possible to tour the Winery when we were there (the harvest was just starting and they were busy).

Review 30:Even the least expensive rooms are beautiful, spacious and luxurious. The common spaces both indoors and outdoors are great. Nice pool! Great Breakfast Good Bar The restaurant is an excellent value. There is no Dinner menu, you just eat whatever they are serving that day. Highly recommended! The estate makes its own wines (including Vino Nobile) which are very good and reasonably priced. The staffs' command of English, though not extensive, is good enough that communication is no problem. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Review 31:Amazing place, great value. We came here on our honeymoon and had a great time. The food is excellent, we had dinner here every night, fixed menu, always wonderful, and we loved the fixed menu as we tried things we wouldn't have ordered. The rooms are huge, beautiful big bathrooms, hosts are wonderful- they don't speak English, but we were able to get by without a problem. It's located right in the middle of a (huge) vineyard, and we were there during harvest season, which was great, so much to see and do! Very close to Montepulciano- you definitely need a car to get around, but it's beautiful.

Review 32:Having visited the hotel made me want to cancel the rest of my plans and stay longer. The location is to die for, the staff is amazingly kind, the property is gorgeous. It's within a reasonable drive of a number of different cities.

Review 33:a little tough to find although staff were very helpful would have liked a wine tour to be offered

Review 34:serenity and beautiful setting good size room clean great food, had the optional dinner one night breakfast was terrific

Review 35:The beds were like sleeping on boards. You MUST speak Italian as the staff speaks no English or other language. They are very nice. The dinner is not worth the money. The tub is impossible to get in and out of. It's very high. The enclosure for it seems like it's falling apart.

Review 36:The approach and place are impressive to see. The breakfasts were very good, with lots of choices.

Review 37:We did not like leaving. Really, this was the worst part of our stay! If you have a flexible schedule as we did, make sure you book enough days here - as it is a smaller property and they do not seem to have a lot of vacancy to accommodate extending your stay.

Review 38:The setting is idyllic with views of vineyards and countryside. The views from our corner room were both postcard perfect. The staff is warm, welcoming and very accommodating. Breakfast is rich and delicious with a lot of variety. Make sure to have a Cappuccino or Espresso to follow! Dinner (reasonably priced) is very good. We stayed for four nights. The rooms, very clean, have all the modern amenities and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Staying for dinner at least one evening is a must. It seems the kitchen is busy all day preparing a wonderful meal for just a small number of guests, as this is not a large property. The Jr. Suite rooms have a lovely adjoining sitting room with fireplace and an additional flat screen TV with movies and a library for your use - which make for an excellent option if you have a day of inclement weather (which we did not.) The sitting room is shared by only two guest rooms - so equates to virtually a private extra room, in addition to the spacious Jr. Suite. If you are traveling with another couple/family and booking two rooms, try to book opposing Jr. Suites and have this room exclusive to your group! The Villa is a short drive from town through vineyards. The pool area (outdoor) is lovely and easily accommodates all the guests with loungers. The WiFi generally worked well, often had strong signal even in the outside sitting areas and is plenty fast. It did occasionally seem to go out for a short while - which was our experience in all four other hotels we stayed at in the region. This is a great location to use to use as a base to tour the sights of this region. We have highly recommended this property to our friends and family.

Review 39:This hotel is really great and very well located, just next to Montepulciano and its vineyards and olives trees. Everything was excellent from the room to the dinner (so well cooked and appetizing) to the breakfast with a very wide choices of tasty home made cakes (I still remember the carrot cake).

Review 40:Wifi is spotty and no English spoken at all but we knew that before we stayed there.

Review 41:Top notch place to stay in Tuscany. Super quiet, brilliant and breathtaking views. Great location. Huge heated pool, comfy bed, huge bathroom with big bathtub and thick quality towels and linens. Food at dinner was some of the best we had in Italy. No English spoken here at all though, so it was a fun experience. We will be back for sure.

Review 42:Nothing really

Review 43:Great views over the vineyards, nice staff, comfortable swimming pool area. We also stayed few nights for the dinner at the villa- it was great home cooked meal! Rooms are well maintained.

Review 44:The dinner set menu was abit strange. Not horrible. Just feel like if I had a choice in my food it would have worked out abit better. And also maybe do something for lunch? Small. We only had to drive down the road to the nearest town. But as I had been driving all the day before I just wanted to relax all day by the pool and venue.

Review 45:Me and my partner booked to stay here for one of our pit stops before heading down to my family home. It is a romantic, happy, relaxing place. The rooms are comfortable. We had a hot tub which was an extra bonus. The views are to die for! You can hope in a car and get to montepulciano in less than 15mins.

Review 46:Car rental is a must to get here and around.

Review 47:Great location on a hilltop surrounded by vineyards, spacious and elegant rooms, friendly, helpful staff, good, homely dinner (it costs extra). Lots of choices for breakfast. The wines produced by the winery are affordable and excellent. If you have a car, it's easy to explore Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Lake Trasimeno etc. from here.

Review 48:THE hotel, location, environment, the diner at the house, the friendlyness of the staff and last nut not least the wine of outstanding quality made by the establishment .

Review 49:It was a great three days. The room was big, comfortable also the bathroom. Pool is clean and there is realy quite in relaxing. The food was amazing and verry good price. Also the wine is great! The ladys there are realy the best, you feel like home. We are surtenly come back soon!

Review 50:I was very impressed by the hotel right after I arrived at the hotel. My families and friends also love it very much. The staff were very hopitality. We were regret that we should stay a bit longer at the hotel. I would definately return to this hotel in the future.

Review 51:I had a spa shower which was lovely except it was so tiny I couldnt move at all inside. the communication was very difficult as they only spoke italian and their english was non-existent.

Review 52:The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely view out over the hills. The dinner was delicious and excellent value for money.

Review 53:No complaints at all, we had a wonderful stay in very comfortable accommodating with very helpful staff. It was indeed excellent value for money and I could highly recommend it. We had 4 small children who ran around the grounds, swam in the pool and were well received by the staff.

Review 54:Can't think of anything!

Review 55:The only reason I didnt give Excellent rating for the location was that there was really nothing around. But that is what everyone goes there for so it was not a problem for us. The service was outstanding and the place was absolutely beautiful! The views are some the best in the world!

Review 56:No criticism

Review 57:Staying here was like staying in one of the oil paintings of Tuscany we have often seen. The view was fantastic as were the villa, the wine, the breakfast, the staff, the pool, the parvilion. . .

Review 58:Location is great. On a hill between the olive threes. Very kind people !

Review 59:Excellent food, excellent service.

Review 60:Everything!!!

Review 61:No WiFi in the room.

Review 62:We LOVE everything about this Villa!!

Review 63:Difficult to find the hotel

Review 64:view, dinner, breakfast, hotel style, position of the hotel

Review 65:Wifi don't work at all

Review 68:There is nothing to dislike.

Review 69:Everything was perfect

Review 70:Perfect place

Review 71:So incredibly accomodatIng. Best agriturismo for location food and wine. Will be back.

Review 72:Shower within the bath leaked

Review 73:The evening meal was a real treat with local quisine and wines

Review 74:Everything about the B and B. Excellent staff, food, and accommodations and location!

Review 75:None

Review 76:Peaceful

Review 77:The location is wonderful, the staff is excellent, the ospitality was more than we found in other places. Is a place that we recommend to everyone.

Review 78:My only complaint would be that it would have been helpful to have wi-fi internet access in the rooms so trip planning in the evenings could be accomplished. It was available in the dining room but once that was closed you didn't have access.

Review 79:The villa was better than we even imagined! The rooms were clean and spacious and had all the comforts of home. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, and the food was all delicious!! The grounds were lovely and very welcoming and the location was ideal for day trips throughout the region. We will certainly be making a return trip on the future! Thank you to Patriza and her entire staff for a truly wonderful vacation!

Review 80:I don't know how I will write this review because I have never been in more love with a B&B than with Relais Villa Grazianella. My husband and I lived in a dream, steps away from heaven, for two nights. Driving up upon arrival, the grounds are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable, and spacious. The entire place is run by Italian woman, whom though speak no English, make you feel so welcome and meet your every need! Every night you can sign up for dinner at a fixed price. You must do this! The food these women make is to die for! Their recipes must come from years of cooking in the kitchen with mothers and grandmothers. Everything is from scratch. We ate here both nights and both nights were some of the best meals we have ever had in our lives! To make the evening more special, prior to dinner you can sit it the gazebo, drinking prosecco and watch the sun begin to showoff along the Tuscan countryside. God willing, we will return to this magical place!

Review 81:Rooms and surroundings exceptional and staff extremely frie dly and helpful. Food good and no difficulty accomodating a vegetarian. Our second stay here and we would return again as one of the nicest places we have stayed

Review 82:Leaking shower - flooded the bathroom. Booked months in advancecounting on the view but there was almost no view in the room. Was toldthat all other rooms were taken. Staff curt and unwilling to help. Ihave made more than 10 Bookings in Italy in the last few months -Relaix it was not.

Review 83:Beautiful views. Very nice structure. Dinner ok (no more),

Review 84:This is a travell tip not something we didn't like: We forgot to set the GPS to avoid 'unpaved' road and got sent onto a wrong road and almost got stucked in the mud. As soon as avoid unpaved road is selected it was an easy find.

Review 85:1. Friendly staff 2. Beatiful swimming pool 3. Room is clean and tidy 4. Bikes that you can borrow for free and explore nearby 5. Beautiful view all around the property 6. Food is very good 7. Their wine is of good quality and cater for different budget.

Review 86:Poor bedroom lighting, the tub type, hose shower was difficult to use,no ironing nor coffee facilities in the room. The rooms differ, sobeware. Difficult to find hotel even in daylight, co ordinates incorrecton website.

Review 87:Very friendly, helpful staff, very good food, wine, clean, quietcountry facility.

Review 88:The staff were exteremely friendly and helpful, the room was lovely andcomfortable and clean and had a view over the vineyards to the town ofMontepluciano. We could choose to have dinner at the hotel for an extracharge which was well worth it as the food was excellent.

Review 89:Navigating there via the address provided was wrong, you need to get the coordinates rather then use the address.

Review 90:Our stay was nothing short of the most amazing experience. The hotel was perfect, from the setting to the facilities. The staff while not fluent in English knew more then enough to converse. The pool was great. The meals cooked on sight for dinner were out of this world authentic and beyond delicious.

Review 91:You need a car to get there. Wi Fi not really good signal.

Review 92:Very nice stuff, exceptional dinner at a very good price (only 25 euros for 4 courses), very good wine. The rooms were very clean, the pool was also very nice and clean. We would return there.

Review 93:Difficult to find.

Review 94:The staff, the food, the atmosphere, very clean and comfortable. We would go beck in a heartbeat! Thank you Alba and Patrizia for making our stay in Tuscany beyond our expectations. Mo and Tom Ma. USA

Review 95:Difficult to find poorly signposted.

Review 96:This was a beautiful villa situated deep in the heart of a tuscan vineyard. Lovely pool with bikes available if you like. Very friendly spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Review 97:Lack of directions for drivers. Signposts showing the way to the villa would have been helpful!

Review 98:Very quiet...food excellent (plain and rustic!). proximity to Montepulciano and Highway made it a perfect stopover!

Review 99:The only thing we had an issue with was the internet because it wasnot working.

Review 100:We loved the location overlooking the vast vineyards. We spent severalhours in the gazebo enjoying their excellent house wine and the view. The room is spacious with enough room for the three of us. The best partof the Grazianella, though, is the wonderful staff. They were veryattentive, helpful and kind. Lastly, their selection of wines wereexcellent.

Review 101:The owner cooks dinner every night - something different every night - all of it delicious - and incredibly reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. We ate there the 3 nights we stayed. They're connected to a great winery - Fattoria del Cerro - wine is great. The facility itself is beautiful and has a wonderful pool in a beautiful setting.

Review 102:The hotel was a little difficult to find.

Review 103:The staff were wonderful, they looked after us very well and made us feel at home. The food was fantastic, although we struggled a little to eat four courses every night! Very comfortable rooms.

Review 104:Shower door in room 5 was broken and a little bit of mold.

Review 105:Our overall stay at the villa was wonderful!! Very friendly and patient staff. We were unable to speak Italian, but they were still very accommodating to our needs and tried their best to communicate with us. Dinner was amazing with four course meal! After a long day of traveling we would come back to the hotel and relax in the garden area with great wine and enjoy the fabulous sunset view!

Review 106:Everything. It was the most beautiful place in Italy. Our room over looked vineyards as far as the eye could see. We took day trips to all the surrounding villages and historic monuments and came back at the end of a long day of sightseeing to glasses of wine in the gazebo and a four course meal that delighted all the senses. The staff was plentiful and kind, and somehow remember every guests preferences. I old write a book about stay. We will go back every year to this beautiful Villa

Review 107:recommend owners to put signs because many hard to find the hotel

Review 108:Rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very polite but do not speak English well, great wine for a decent price about 10 euros! a perfect setting!

Review 109:We were aware staff didn't speak much English but it wasn't a huge deal. Air conditioning wasn't turned on yet, but evenings cooled off. Internet down but not fault of hotel.

Review 110:Beautiful and very peaceful surroundings. Entire large room was immaculate. Nice touches everywhere. Great views. Dinner delicious! Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate. They were wonderful.

Review 111:Staff Food & wine Pool Accommodation

Review 112:Difficult to find without gps.

Review 113:Incredible view. Homemade Dinner and amazing wine

Review 114:it's hard to find.
