Reviews for Poggio Olivo

Review 1:Worst bed we have ever slept on. They need to buy new mattresses! Hard, lumpy and springs almost through. Bikes left for us to ride had flat tires - not rideable. Some basics were not in kitchen such as a knife, scissors, spatula, dishcloth. One garbage bag, 2 rolls toilet paper and two tiny bars of soap for a four night stay.

Review 2:Wonderful location and beautiful setting. Loved to walk in area with olive trees and vineyards. Lots of room and lots of parking.

Review 3:Reception only open on arrival. Internet very slow Access from car park and to rooms difficult for people with walking difficulties. . Air conditioning only available as supplement , not specified in details Balcony unclean.(toe nail clippings, etc)

Review 4:Swimming pool good. Good location, more suitable for young people.

Review 5:We had a 2 bedroom apartment and one room in the attic could be stuffy; luckily the nights were fresh so we kept the window fully opened; no mosquitoes yet :) couldn't find the remote for air conditioning

Review 6:very nicely kept, great location- quiet, but you have loads of interesting places to visit within one hour drive

Review 7:Bikes should be serviced. Some of the beds were uncomfortable and saggy. The staff should have indicated there was an information booklet hidden in one of the drawers and that there was a secret drawer in the table.

Review 8:The location, property and views are superb. it was great to have access to bikes though many were in poor working order. the apts had good space and comfort.

Review 9:Nice location with superb view over the grape and olive filelds. Agriturismo does not offer breakfast, but every morning at 9.00 comes bakery who sells fresh bread and sweets. It was nice and really delicious. I also liked that they have pool and quite good kichen equipements in appartment where I could make good florentina steik..

Review 10:Location is great to visit southern part of Tuscany and Umbro. Sourounded with olive trees and vine. Nice swimming pool for kids, big enough even for 8 families staying there. 5 minutes to Acquaviva and 15 to Montepulciano.

Review 11:Air condition is an a little bit expensive option

Review 12:The swimming pool is very nice and comfortable, rooms are huge and decorated in cute way. Baker that arrives every morning with tasty home made food

Review 13:The only issue is that it might be a little hard to find the place, and you have to check in at another property.

Review 14:My husband and I traveled with my parents, we got a very spacious two-bedroom-two-bathroom apartment in Poggio Olive and the stay was excellent! Very clean and comfortable, nice scenery from the balcony. Staff were friendly and the price was great! The surrounding is fantastic if you drive along the small roads.

Review 15:Shower door leaked so bathroom floor was really flooded. Furniture inside the apartment could do with some modernizing.

Review 16:Perluigi, the owner was very warm and welcoming. Location is very calm and peaceful (but the restaurant availabilities in Acquaviva village are really limited). View over Tuscan farmland is beautiful. Close to Montepulciano (10-15 minutes drive). Fantastic pool for cooling off, and lovely gardens to relax in. WiFi speed in the apartment and on our private terrace was fabulous. Our apartment was spacious for two people. Kitchen facilities (large fridge, stove, microwave) all great.

Review 17:Property management was a short drive away. It was no big issue though.

Review 18:The property was on a hill and commanded great views of the Tuscan countryside. Sunrise in particular was amazing with the sun piercing through the morning mist. The apartment units were clean and comfortable. Driving to Acquaviva for grocery is easy enough.

Review 19:Need to have reliable wifi in apartment. Check-in and check-out is at location around 2 kilometers away. Very scarce eating options in nearby Acquaviva village.

Review 20:Location and scenery. Property layout and spaciousness is huge added value. Almost everything you need is in the apartment, great attention to detail.

Review 21:Airco is availlable at extra cost that should be included.

Review 22:Super amazing view, you are on the top of a Tuscan hill. Spacius family appartment, very nice pool with enough chairs. Well maintained garden is a relaxing environment. Recepton availability via intercom works fine and freewifi during your stay.Daily visit of the backer @9 pm is convenient ;-)We really had a marvellous holiday here !

Review 23:nothing

Review 24:The scenic views are outstanding. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend air conditioning as June was hot and hotter.

Review 25:It is a bit far from everything, including the reception (which is at a separate property a few hundred metres away) - not a problem for us though as we had a car. But the place is recommended only if you have own set of wheels.

Review 26:outstanding, panoramic views of the tuscan landscape from the farm. The owner and staff were very helpful. Lovely Swimming Pool with a view and barbeque facilites, though sadly it was a bit rainy and cold to use either when we visited.

Review 27:A little hard to find, but once found, no problem getting around. This is minor, but, as we were coming from abroad and only staying a few days, it would have been nice had the kitchen stocked salt and pepper and oil and vinegar!

Review 28:Gorgeous view of Tuscan countryside from our terrace. Very nice accommodations. Wonderful location from which to visit Tuscan hill towns. Reasonable price.

Review 29:Everything! Best place I'd ever stayed.

Review 30:Beautiful setting, peace and quiet.
