Review 4:Outstanding breakfast !! Gerry has been very friendly and helpful with his indications about restaurants in Ballyvaughan (L'Arco and Logues Lodge were excellent). We'd go back if we only could...
Review 5:We were very pleased with our stay. Comfortable warm beds, great water pressure in the shower, and delicious breakfast! The location was perfect to walk to dinner and safe return home from late night at the pub. We definitely recommend this B&B.
Review 6:Can't complain.
Review 7:Gerry and Pauline so friendly and humorous. Breakfast was incredible with many fruits and yogurt for starters and great locally sourced salmon for scramble with eggs. Scrumptious. Town had trad music in pub.
Review 8:One small complaint was the signal of the Wi-Fi. But, not a big deal since we were outside in the beautiful countryside around Ballyvaughan.
Review 9:Pauline and Gerry were wonderful hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was gorgeous as well. Loved this place and plan to return.
Review 10:One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The selection of fruit was amazing. Care and attention were given to every single detail in this guesthouse and Gerry and Pauline were most friendly and welcoming.
Review 11:Mobile phone coverage was very bad.
Review 12:Location was great, atmosphere of bar/restaurant was very cosy and food was excellent. Meeting room was adequate.
Review 13:Host Gerry and Pauline very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast superb. Room was quality and the missus liked the power shower. There's a good 2 hour circular walk from the hotel that takes in the Burren's stunning unique rock scenery.
Review 14:Shower was a type that I'm unfamiliar with so couldn't get hot water. Could have asked but in a hurry to leave for organised sightseeing, so made do.
Review 15:Fantastic room, so welcoming.
Review 16:Large, cozy room with king-sized bed; Location in quiet country town, convenient to downtown shops/restaurants; superb hosts, providing excellent sightseeing advice; great breakfasts
Review 17:Location is good to see all the different sites in the area. It is in a small village and you can walk to the Pubs, bars and stores. Great atmosphere and the best breakfast in Ireland.
Review 18:Our hosts, Gerry and Pauline, were very friendly and accomodating and made us feel right at home. Breakfast in the mornings was enormous, consisting of a huge sideboard with cereals, fruit, pastries and cheeses, followed by one of five main choices. We were so full, we usually didn't need any more food until almost dinnertime. Our upstairs room was very comfortable and had plenty of natural light. Everything in the quaint village of Ballyvaughan was within easy walking distance.
Review 19:The owners were amazingly helpful, the rooms and the entire guest lodge were comfortable and beautifully presented and you can't not mention the wonderful brekkie. (we had to get up early for our flight on the 2nd morning and Pauline even put us together a brekkie on the go!) Planning on going back just to stay at the Ballyvaughan lodge Guesthouse!
Review 20:Gerry & Pauline have one of the most inviting & lovely B&B's in Ireland. We stayed for 3 days in April. Our room was very clean, large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room had a comfortable sofa and easy chairs. The breakfast was the most generous that we had during our 4 weeks traveling Ireland. We had the local smoked salmon & eggs, fresh fruit, cheeses, breads all the extras plus french press coffee. This is a great location for exploring the Burren. You can leave the car & walk to dinner. Gerry gave us great advice on the local sites. Stay here it is the best!
Review 21:Lovely couple own this and extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are really top class and you will not get a breakfast any better anywhere in ireland.

Review 35:Pauline & Gerry are thee best hosts ever, providing a real retreat for their guests. The lodge is decorated with art from all over the world, each bedroom is sumptuous and cosy. The breakfast is the show stopper, stewed and fresh fruits, a selection of cheeses and smoked salmon. A cooked menu that caters for all, ample tea and coffee. Ballyvaughan Lodge is a real slice of luxury in the heart of the wilds of west Ireland

Review 38:The hosts were amazing. So friendly and giving us advice on what to do around the area. The rooms were spectacular and very comfortable. The common rooms are decorated beautifully and feel like home. Everything was clean. The breakfast is not just one thing for everybody, but a fruit and cereal buffet, with a meal menu. Review 49:The only downside was that the WiFi didn't extend well to our room but there was a public room which we could use to access it.
