Review 1：The pepper cellars didn't work very well. As you can see, this is a very minor complaint
Review 2：It's my favourite hotel in the world. The location, the building, the grounds and most of all, the staff are all world class
Review 3：The rain Only slight thing was that there is not too much else near the hotel for food, etc. Last shuttle bus to hotel is at 7.30 so option of early dinner in Florence otherwise will be a 30euro taxi back.

Review 6：the location on the river Arno was serene, peaceful and beautiful. Nicola and the staff spoke excellent English and helped us with taxis, day trips and museum reservations....mostly they had a great attitude, couldn't do enough for us and always with a sincere and beautiful smile. The food and the service at the hotel restaurant was superb.

Review 21：This was our second visit. It is romantic--dinner sitting on the Arno is a very special experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are terrific and the grounds are very romantic. They also make it easy to get into center of Florence for sightseeing.
