Reviews for Towers Hotel Stabiae Sorrento Coast

Review 1:Basic bar food on arrival in the afternoon. WIFI non existent, terrible reception. Given a smoking room to start, immediatly complained, and then had rooms we booked were found. No bathrobes as per booking, had to ask a few times to get them.

Review 2:Location overlooking Bay of Naples. Make sure you get a sea view. Breakfast had a good selection. Some rooms without a view, not good !!!!! Views from restaurant terrace excellent over the bay. Menu choice and service good, book your table at the front of terrace to ensure you have a good spot. Couple of private beaches, beds, swimming pool etc, very nice. Hotel is outside by 5 minutes of the town Castellammare di Stablia, which is a run down place and glad we did not stay there. Ideal location for Amalfi Coast exploration. Parking good and easy.

Review 3:Very minor point: wifi can't be accessed everywhere. The hotel isn't very pretty but it is a converted cement works and is true to it's historical use. However, the location is great.

Review 4:Super views, good location near Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri so lots to do in easy reach of hotel. Quiet area. Food was excellent: generous breakfasts and very good value evening meal in the very attractive restaurant. The staff were extremely polite, attentive and hard working. Food was better value than local restaurants.(We has breakfast only for our booking.) Nice bedrooms (especially ours that had a sea and Vesuvius view) and lovely bathrooms, well equipped and toiletries provided daily.

Review 5:The wifi was pretty bad. Very hard to use and didn't work most of the time. The pool and beach closed at 7. Which is pretty early. Several times we had been touring all day and couldn't use them.

Review 6:The view and the beach and pool.

Review 7:the hotel wasn't really in a great location if you didn't have a car. You needed to catch either the local bus, or the hotel shuttle to get anywhere, and these only run limited times over the day. The quality of the meals in the restaurant were small, and of not fantastic quality for their price.

Review 8:The hotel was lovely. Rooms were a decent size and the view was amazing over the water. There was both a pool and private beach. The beach is not sand though, it's gravel, which is a big hard on your feet. great variety of food for breakfast. Had a massage which was reasonably priced. The variety of drinks in the bar was great.

Review 9:front desk manager at arrival, hiding behind the wall and sending trainees to check us in to a wrong room! shower head was broken but they fixed it after we informed them.

Review 10:location on the beach, good view, clean room breakfast,

Review 11:For those driving to the hotel the entrance is kind of tricky. One has to U turn on a busy way if it is not the right direction. Else nothing.

Review 12:Staff were friendly and the room and bathroom clean and sophisticated. I love the bath tube.

Review 13:the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, , fabulous if the facilities were open, we understand pools need to be maintained but there could have been outdoor furniture available.restaurant food was awful & expensive, my meat was more fat than meat. i told waiting staff it was fatty, they looked & walked away & when i had finished eating they brought me another plate of food then got offended when i refused it.

Review 14:the accomodation, lovely spacious room & bathroom, powerful shower, use of hotel shuttle bus

Review 15:Front desk staff lacking in service skills and curtesy. Breakfast and dinner staff wonderful. Room was good although property empty and still would not accommodate a request.

Review 16:The dinner at the restaurant was superb and wonderful service. Rest of staff not as good or cordial.

Review 17:Pool was freezing. Ants in our bed (about 30 or so), wifi was horrendous and the system you use for wifi is pretty bad too. Hair dryer didn't work. Other than that, I liked it a lot, but I expected more.

Review 18:Location, staff

Review 19:There is a train station nearby, but was glad to have hired a car (despite the challenge of driving there) due to its isolation from any town.

Review 20:Beautiful views Helpful staff

Review 21:Pool and Spa were temporarily closed

Review 22:Easy access to Bay of Napoli and it had it's own bathing area in the sea

Review 23:Lovely hotel with great friendly service from the staff

Review 24:Wifi is terrible and painful to use.

Review 25:Lovely location and facilities

Review 26:Wifi not great

Review 27:Very comfortable with lovely views from the terrace.

Review 28:Wifi, Food

Review 29:Landscape, Pool, Beach, Staff

Review 30:Hard to get to with public transport.

Review 31:Beautiful views

Review 32:Hard to get to

Review 33:Beautiful location and dramatic views

Review 34:Pool could be open longer . Cocktails Drinks where to small for cost .

Review 35:Location and view

Review 36:WiFi was patchy

Review 37:Comfortable, reasonably priced. Good food

Review 38:Amazing facilities

Review 39:Outside needed a a face lift.the facades were showing their age.

Review 40:Lovely location. Very private.

Review 41:Staff took a while to answer requests be it in person or over the phone.

Review 42:The food, setting, views & hotel room were of a very high standard.

Review 43:This hotel is seriously classy. We got a last minute deal and were then upgraded, so my flattering review is based on the fact that we did not pay for such luxury. We loved the private beach with views of Vesuvius. Breakfast was good by Italian standards (always too sweet). Fantastic underground parking. Good wifi. If you can afford it (or get a deal), who can resist the charm of staying in a converted cement works. The transformation is astounding.

Review 44:Lack of bathroom disabled facilities, very low level beds, no way out of hotel as shuttle bus cannot carry person in wheelchair.

Review 45:The friendly, helpful staff through out the Hotel and its location overlooking the sea.

Review 46:The reality did not correspond with the reservation. Room with sea view meant a room with view into the bushes and free internet was limited to two hours and any extension had to be paid. These both issues were solved after we complained. In the new room the water taps were not polished and had a lot of stain. The breakfast was a dissaster - toaster not working, scrambled eggs were cold and the request for warm fried eggs was after a long time responded with request for an alla-card surcharge. At check-out nobody cared if we were happy with the stay.

Review 47:The rooms with sea view have a wonderful view across the Napoli bay towards Vesivius.

Review 48:Dirty Poor bar food and drinks Dated decor and dirty Functions tookpriority over other guests Some staff had poor attitude Room was notready for check in time Breakfast was very overpriced 20 euros perperson per day, and not great.

Review 49:Private beach Views Parking

Review 50:The exorbitant price of breakfast (extra) at €20 a head. We didn't bother.

Review 51:We were recommended to go here by an Italian friend, who said we would not believe it. He was right. Who would ever imagine staying in a converted cement works? In fact, our room overlooked the sea, and had a stunning view across the bay of Naples to Vesuvius. The only noise at night was the chug-chug-chug of fishing boats passing by going out to catch our next meal. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant superb for dinner. The swimming facilities were superb, with a roped-off sea area and a multiple freshwater pool arrangement with areas for everyone, from children to enthusiastic distance-swimmers. And a jacuzzi area!

Review 52:Location terrible, poor Internet, cold swimming pool, no pick up or help getting to very inconvenient location, bus to sorento not regular enough

Review 53:Nice view

Review 54:Young man at the front desk who hardly spoke or understood english and was rather sharp and short when we tried to communicate with him

Review 55:Beautiful view. Manager

Review 56:No indoor pool for the kids. It is an adult only Spa.

Review 57:Fabulous and spacious connecting rooms. Great for a family. Spectacular views of Vesuvius and the Mediterranean. The restaurant served up some very delicious food!

Review 58:We liked very much this hotel. The location on the road between Sorrento and Naples is very convenient when you are travelling by car. Everything was very good, the room, the environment, breakfast.

Review 59:It was a little out of the way of things, and as we traveled to thehotel by train, we disembarked at the closest train stop. Not a verygood idea at all......was a little scary as it was a long dark walk fromthe platform to the outside and then a long walk without sidewalks alonga busy highway.

Review 60:The hotel staff were excellent and helped with all of our needs. Theroom was spacious and 100% class A. Nice little beach area and abeautiful pool.

Review 61:staff are not kind and not good services. the breakfast was poor not many foods. there is not free parking and not free spa ,sauna, everything is charged.

Review 62:the hotel was beautiful and clean.

Review 63:We chose this hotel because it had a beach. The beach was a huge, rocky disappointment and we ended up at the pool. The location is right next to a very busy road and even though the hotel area is quite nice the area as a whole is not charming at all. Traffic in high season is a nightmare and 10km took us 1,5 hours to drive at the worst. Snack bar had very limited lunch menu and quite expensive. If you wish to see the "real" coast we recommend you choose to stay at Amalficoast, not the sorrento coast.

Review 64:Ok hotel if you are not planning visits to Amalfi coast - it is way too far. The restaurant and breakfast were great as well as the room. There were always free sunbeds at the pool.

Review 65:We stayed for a night on our way home from Positano to Naples airport. It was a perfect hotel to stop over for a night with our young daughter. The pool area is fantastic for children and has a generous baby pool in which our 2 1/2 year old spent the day playing. The hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. On arrival it appeared that I hadn't booked for our daughter as she shares our bed rather than using a cot. It was not possible for her to share our room that had been allocated as it was too small (hotel policy/ health and safety). However the receptionist spent 10 minutes reorganising rooms and we were given a larger and very beautiful room - and not charged any extra! Our daughter was also given free milk to drink at dinner and not charged for breakfast. We found this to be very generous of the hotel as we had been charged between 2 and 4 Euros for a glass of milk during our holiday. We would definitely stay again on our way from Naples to the Amalfi Coast.

Review 66:state of the hotel, old and not well maintained

Review 67:service and kindness of the employees- the view

Review 68:Didn't quiet realise how far from sorrento it is, buses into and out of sorrento were not quiet frequent enough.

Review 69:Room, pool area, views,

Review 70:Distance from any activity

Review 71:The food

Review 72:Escellent all around. Stayed here previously.

Review 73:Very nice!
