Review 2：Angelo is a warm-hearted person and perfect host. Throughout our stay he recommended us activities/restaurants and even organized them for us. The residence as well is beautiful. Angelo takes care about every detail and the rooms are very clean and classy arranged. We felt extremely comfortable staying at his place and recommend it to everybody. Also children and dogs are more than welcome. We will definitely go there again, thank you Angelo!

Review 3：We can recommend san Vito to everybody who loves good food, good wine, hospitality and a quit environment! We had a perfect vacation here thanks to the owner Angelo who took care of us as if we were his best friends. He organized visits to the cantina for us and made reservations in different restaurants who were all fantastic. And most of all, he is always smiling! We will certainly come back here.

Review 5：Wonderful place. Tastefully renovated rooms with a lot of charm. The pool area is a wonderfull place to relax while overlooking the beutiful suroundings and contemplating what great restaurant Angelo have booked for the evening while soft music is playing in the background. Angelo, the owner, was really the best host and made really good recommendations for off track excursions and excellent restaurants. The staff was very attentative and friendly with the kids (7 and 9). We will definately come back!

Review 8：It all started with the warmest welcome from Angelo, accompanied by a glass of wine and a platter of cheese, meat and bread, all local and delicious, served at the covered terrasse facing the lovely manicured garden and heated swimming pool. It didn't take long for us to jump in and enjoy the salt water. Relaxing by the pool was made easy, complimentary sparkling water and platters of fruit served daily by a very attentionnate staff. Always there when you need them, always courteous and smiley, whilst leaving you space to relax and unwind. Lunch is served daily upon request, and made from delicious fresh local ingredients, like ratatouille, the to-die-for mozzarella salad, the freshly made spaghetti. Excellent dinner recommendations from Angelo, great experience in all 7 restaurants. Whilst Residenza San Vito is not designed around children it is extremely kids friendly. To give an example, our 10 month old and 3 year old daughters adored Angelo's home made fresh vegetable purees, that he made especially for them daily from his vegetable garden. A pure delight, difficult to fault, we are going back again in October.

Review 13：We recently spent three glorious days at Residenza San Vito, and I cannot say enough about what a delightful experience we had. Angelo is the most welcoming and generous host, who greeted us with prosecco and antipasti upon our arrival and whose total care and attention during the remainder of our visit were unparalleled. He wants his guests to feel at home, anticipates their every need, and spares no detail of hospitality, including perfect suggestions for restaurants, wineries, and sightseeing. He is truly a Renaissance man: architect, artist, chef, winemaker, entrepreneur, raconteur, philosopher, traveler, and knowledgeable food and wine enthusiast.His Residenza is a total labor of love, and it shows in every detail. Set in the gorgeous Piedmont hills, with panoramic views of the vineyards and hazelnut groves, Angelo has spared no detail in its recent renovation, appointments, and landscaping. Each of the seven rooms features high-beamed ceilings, thoughtfully collected antiques, comfortable beds and beautiful linens, private baths with exquisite high-end fixtures, flatscreen TV, AC/fan, minibar, safe, and hairdryer. Speedy WiFi is available throughout the property. The heated saltwater pool is beautiful and kept impeccably clean, with comfortable lounge furniture and poolside service of fresh fruit and refreshments. There is a billiard room and fireplace for winter entertainment. Breakfast includes a lovely buffet of home-grown produce and the best locally-sourced items, as well as made-to-order options. Lunch is also available upon request. Angelo treats his staff as family and each of them mirrors his care and loving hospitality. His sidekick, dachshund Leopoldo, was an endless source of entertainment.We arrived at Residenza San Vito with plans to see the region, but this beautiful place was so comfortable and inviting, we never wanted to leave! Our stay here was the high point of our trip to Italy -- an 11 on our 10-point scale!

Review 14：Peaceful and romantic setting. The room was fabulous. Angelo is by far the best host we've had the pleasure of meeting. The local foods we had for breakfast and the pride and knowledge Angelo shared made our stay very memorable. Angelo went out of his way to rocommend restaurants and to make reservations for us. We ate at some amazing places!

Review 15：Finding it the first time can be bit of a challenge (if you have not the right navigation system like us). But you can call Angelo every time and he will be happy to help. We didn't have Wifi connection in our room, but worked fine in breakfast room and garden.

Review 16：Everything was wonderful about our stay at Residenza San Vito! Starting from our welcome Apero by Angelo despite that we arrived much too late on a Friday night, over the perfect restaurant recommendations and reservations by Angelo, the organization of the visits to wineries until the rooms, the breakfast and the scenery of the accomodation.We spent 4 days in Piedmonte to discover the wine region. The Residenza San Vito belongs I believe to the part Canelli, hence not the same part as eg famous places like Barolo. Although it was not in the heart of the wine area, we enjoyed it very much- maybe exactly because of that. Residenza San Vito is a perfect starting point to drive through the stunning landscape to places like Barolo (40 minutes) or Barbaresco (30 minutes) which are more well known but also more touristic areas. We loved coming back at the end of a day to our "home" and the more quite area. We found people in that part much more friendly and authentic and the wines are actually really nice (some better than the Barolo). So why go somewhere else?As for the residence and its owner Angelo we have nothing but positive things to say, too. Small Bed& Breakfasts (5-7 rooms) can be a tricky thing: you can feel sometimes like sitting in the kitchen and occupying the private space of the people's home or the hospitality can be overwhelming while you would like to have some more privacy. At Residenza San Vito we got very professional but personal & warm service that made us feel very welcome but at the same time it is never too much. Angelo will do everything for his guests to make their stay perfect and helps with recommendations and reservations if needed.The rooms are of a very high standard, all renovated and individually furnished. People with an eye for special things will love it!Extremely clean, good shower, perfect mattress and very good isolation.

Review 22：In September 2014 we stayed for 4 days at Rezidensa San Vito. It was a great experience! The building including the 5 guestrooms is very nice with a mix of modern and antique furniture and nice pieces of art. The garden with the saltwater pool gave us many opportunities to enjoy Life. Our host, Angelo, and his staff did everything to make us feel "at home" and to assist us in planning daytrips, wine-tasting, dinners or whatever. The restaurant was under reconstruction during our stay but the breakfasts - best ever! - were unforgettable!. The San Vita is a perfect place for relaxing and a good starting point to discover the beautiful hills and small old towns of the Piemonte. Thank you, Angelo, for a wonderful stay at your beautiful resort!

Review 23：Every thing is of the highest caliber from the furnishings to the fresh porcini omelet at breakfast to the wine by the pool. Nothing is too much trouble for Angelo and his friendly staff. Angelo's enthusiasm and knowledge for the area is exceptional from finding us a restaurant with one of the first truffles of the season to booking a table and a tour of the wine caves at Bardon last minute. This amazing place surpassed our every expectation, we can't wait to return.

Review 28：We really liked our stay at Residenza San Vito. After a warm welcome by the owner, he recommended us a very good restaurant. The Residenza is located on a hill surrounded by vineyards. It's a perfect location to discover Piemonte. The pool area is very relaxing and the staff was very nice and helpful. They gave good suggestions for a day trip, restaurants or for buying the best wine. Just a perfect place for a perfect holiday. We would like to come back and can recommend it to anyone!

Review 29：This place is a true gem to be discovered. The owner Angelo and his wife Monica made our stay the most pleasant and relaxing short trip we ever had. The place only has six rooms, (of which each room is decorated with beautiful antique furniture).. which let's Angelo really commit to his guests. We felt like VIP's during our whole stay. When we arrived, we were treated to a small Italien meat platter and a Welcome Wine, at the salt water swimming pool (no chemicals, good for the skin) we got served fresh fruits, ice cream and water, lunch Angelo prepared himself, asking us what we would like to eat and then cooking just for us and food is prepared with fresh home grown ingredients. The residence is on a hill, surrounded by vinyards and a beautiful view and it is a perfect place to relax and fill your batteries in the "Italien Dolce Farniente" way. The whole staff is great and also very dog friendly. We came as guests and left as friends. Definatly our secret retreat for the future. Thank you Angelo, thank you Monica!

Review 37：The Residenza San Vito surprised us all with delight. We are a family of five (2 adults, 2 teenagers and one baby) and we stayed for one night. This was our only regret: only one night! But we will certainly be back soon again as this is a wonderful guesthouse in a beautiful region. Each suite was decorated with a unique touch, with love and a lot of taste. We felt immediately at home. I am recommending the Residenza San Vito to all my friends.
