Review 1：This was our 3rd stay at La Locanda Della Chiocciola. It has everything we look for in a stay, and why we always come back. .. Convenient yet rustic country setting, wonderful on-premise restaurant, very clean, parking, topped off with a host, Maria Christina, (who also speaks perfect English,) and is so welcoming and helpful.My wife may try to get friends together to come there from the USA. She & Maria Christina discussed offering a cooking class at this wonderful location.

Review 6：Didn't realise that although our quadruple room had a kitchen the use if that is extra. However Kristina lent us a couple of plates and a knife. Also we all managed to get bitten by mozzies so take repellent.

Review 7：Location is beautiful, pool lovely. Kristina is wonderful and helpful with excellent English. Food is some of the best we have ever eaten. The pasta is fabulous and overall Good value for quality. Intended to eat out but none of us could bear to miss out on a meal there! Kids enthused too!

Review 8：1.Air conditioning very poor. Told it was because of a storm the previous evening. It was switched off each morning before 9am. We couldn't use it after then. Told it was to help the cleaners! Would have thought cleaners want to be cool when working! Some guest like to use their room after 9am and still use aircon!! Room in the highest part of the building so trapped the heat. 2. No directions to the swimming pool anywhere at all in the hotel. Had to ask where it was. 3. Wanted an extra 70 Euros per couple to use the "spa" area !!!!. The area did not look like it had been used very much this year. 4. Having to pay extra for eggs and ham at breakfast - 3 euros per item per person. 5.Not a patch on the place we stayed in in Umbria.

Review 11：The proprietors are very kind and hospitable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant serves very tasty food from a smallish menu. The pool area was very nice, and we had it mostly to ourselves.

Review 13：Everything. Maria Christina could not have been more accommodating. She has created a perfect, relaxing retreat. She even drove me to the train station, arranged my ticket, and phoned my next destination. The food at the restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced. Excellent hotel.

Review 15：This inn was recommended to us by friends who had stayed here 4 times, so our expectations were high. We were not disappointed, in fact it exceeded our expectations. The dinners were excellent (among the best food we had in Italy) and we received lots of good advice about places to visit in the area from Christina, the owner, who is a lovely woman who speaks excellent English (her husband is the chef). The inn is beautifully decorated and the view down into the valley gorgeous. We plan to return some day!
