Review 1：The spaciousness of the rooms ,how they are set out are perfect for familys with older children.the aircons.worked wonderfully. lovely outdoor setting too
Review 2：Do not eat at the cafe adjoining the resort. It is not actually part of the resort, so maybe not their problem but breakfast was over-priced and overcooked. We heard of other quality issues.
Review 3：Good area, Nice small but comfortable apartment. Although very close to the neighbouring apartments it was still very secluded and private. Good facilities with dishwasher, washing machine, aircon and gas bbq.
Review 4：Staff weren't that friendly and didn't smile. there was no phone service and we used the phone in the unit. The rates for using the landline were shocking.
Review 5：Just a suggestion - The upstairs windows need to be louvred to allow for better airflow which would result in not needing to use the a/c.! The service in the restaurant Tillers was absolutely terrible. We waited almost an hour for a simple breakfast.

Review 8：The pool area is great - salt water heated, perfect. Loved the funky decor. Great location, not far from the Straddie Beach Hotel and a healthy 5 km walk to North Gorge.
Review 9：The continuous sound of the garden maintenance team with their leaf blower, electric hedge trimmer and lawn edger during the day, in fact just about every day I was there for some reason. Not very relaxing. And the noise went on for a lot longer that the couple of hours promised. It would be good to be notified of this ahead of time and to let guests know how long it is going to take. Leaf blowers are not very efficient machines, a broom or rake would do better.

Review 11：I actually slipped over coming home on the painted pathway outside Unit 1. It had been raining and that particular corner was very slippery & limited in lighting. I don't think the loft type cabins should be hired for older clients. I found them quite precarious coming down at night. My brother (51) in Unit One actually fell down the last four stairs.last
Review 12：Style of environmental sensitivity. Location close to Straddie Pub, Straddie Bowls as well as proximity to a real beach. Stimulating walk to Pt Lookout cafe & tourist sites.I really enjoyed our stay. I would gladly return to Allure Apartments.
Review 13：No free Wifi in the cabins. The Shacks are overpriced and uncomfortable but totally fine on the whole. I think next time, had we known, we would have booked a Villa which looks more comfortable.
Review 14：The onsite Cafe is Excellent and the coffee and hot food was really enjoyed and appreciated. We ended up bringing the rest of our Family who were staying at another property to eat twice at the Cafe.

Review 19：No mobile phone signal. It's concerning especially when your family needs to contact you urgently or if you need to call for emergency purposes. Wifi was only available at the office area and had to be paid. It was a very slow connection too. When I walked in to check-in, the receptionist wasn't friendly and a bit rough. The frontline staff needs to understand how important first impressions are.

Review 21：Possible car / bike or scooter hire direct from Allure. Also a Courtesy Bus would be nice to utilize instead of Bus transferes as they time table is quite limited.

Review 23：Not a bad experience, but I question why the daily pool maintenance has to happen as soon as the pool is open? I think the pool opens at 7 and then closes again for maintenance at a random time between 8 and 10am. Maintenance should happen before the pool opens.

Review 25：usually accommodation has some drawback e.g. not enough hangers/no full length mirror/insufficient kitchen equipment but Allure truly had everything we needed for our stay.
Review 26：Layout of 3 bedroom appartment had the bedrooms each separate and built around the main outdoor dining area. This would be ideal for couples sharing or older children, however our children were quite young and having them sleep in different areas was a little nerving as the front gate to the appartment did not lock.

Review 28：The staff was really helpful, we arrived after the office hours and someone was prompt to check us in. we forgot our mobile phone on the shack that we stayed. When we got home we notice that it was missing, called Allure on the next day. They found the phone and send it by post to our address. Will definitely stay again at Allure for sure.Highly recommend.

Review 32：The 2 bedroom villa was large, clean and tucked away at the back of complex, was well set up for families with a few kids. Food and service at the café at the front of the complex was great.
Review 33：The neighbours were very noisy two nights in a row and kept us awake all night. The staff were very good at chasing them up on this when we complained but they obviously didn't heed the first warning on the first night. The way the apartments are set up means that the noise does carry from the next door outdoor area to our bedrooms. However staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a late checkout as well so we do appreciate that.
Review 34：The apartment was comfortable, spacious and modern. It was a one bedroom apartment but came with an extra room with bunk beds as well as the queen bedroom which was a nice surprise! It had a BBQ which we enjoyed and a lovely deck to relax on. We enjoyed the swimming pool and being close to the beaches. Staff very friendly. We have booked to come back in October!
Review 35：We were so delighted well be back and to stay at the Allure again. Allure was positioned right across from the start and finish line hence our booking. We got so much more. The whales put on a show and the scenery was amazing. The quality of the Allure Stradbroke Resort matched our visit.

Review 73：Furnishings a little dated. Unusual configuration with two blocks of rooms separated by deck. One block with two bedrooms (one queen and one twin) and bathroom upstairs with one queen room downstairs. Across deck, block with kitchen, dining, lounge and bathroom downstairs and quad bunk room upstairs. No outside covering over decking on Unit 43 except for narrow panel between blocks. Wind blew rain into this space. Positives out weighed the minuses. Would choose a different unit with covered decking.
Review 74：Very roomy for family of 4 adults and 4 children. Very short walk to beach. Café attached to resort was excellent. Being able to walk to café for early coffee. Friendly staff and good food. Would choose it again.
Review 75：I have been in the last 10 weeks in around 40 different motels, hotels and shacks. This has been by far the most unfavourable value/price ratio which I have experienced. The bathroom would need a renovation. I was a little bit upset that we could not get any internet connection at all.
Review 76：The hotel manager is very helpful, the beaches are really close to the hotel. There's plenty of space in the shack.
Review 77：Parking was tight for the one bed properties, no dryer in our room so struggled with keeping linen dry...and as so shady outside airer ineffective..no DVD player although stated in the brochure...fan in main room too weak and fans, and air con right in top of high ceiling so ineffective...we stayed at Easter so not too hot but I can imagine it being very hot and stuffy in mid summer especially the bathroom
Review 78：Right opposite a great beach and walking distance to a few shops plus cafe with provisions for self catering people right on site, swimming pool and kids playground...like the design of the resort and the bush setting...lots of wildlife...modern rooms...loved the Weber on the deck
