Reviews for La Casa Delle Querce

Review 1:Strange that a apartment with two bedrooms only have one fixed fan in just one of the bedrooms. We had to buy one ourselves to the second bedroom to have some ventilation in 35 degrees. The towels are only changed once a week (twice would be much better), and borrowing the machine for laundry of the towels (or clothes) cost 4 Euros per laundry.

Review 2:Very nice property and garden with pool, lots of sitting areas, barbeque and a pizza oven. Nice, clean and well maintained apartments. Serviceminded owner of the place, lives on the upper floor of the building.

Review 3:A bigger variety of kitchen equipment would be nice eg eggcups, mugs, fishslice.

Review 4:Nice view. Pleasant owner with good English.

Review 5:Nice pool perfect set up

Review 6:Tiny coffee pot for an apartment that sleeps 6 people.

Review 7:Location was excellent, views were spectacular.

Review 8:Within our control- no dislikes. Out of our control- rain

Review 9:Location, close to town with grocery store, and Luca's excellent tips on what to do.

Review 10:The room style is out of date.

Review 11:- The view from the hotel is amazing. - The owner is very nice and helpful with his tips. - The pool is great!

Review 12:Easy travel to so many towns. Rooms and grounds are clean and well manicured. Luca is very helpful.

Review 13:The studiot didn't look comfortable and well groomed. The studio was at the ground floor and it was wet and cold as in a cellar. The studio hasn't been renovated for ages and the furniture is worn out. The studio is not well cleaned. I found cobweb under the bed and mold in the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom is too noisy. The douche is not fixed properly at the wall and we had to hold it in the hand when we took the shower. The kitchen utensils are limited and plain. There were no electric kettle, no coffee machine, no microwave and only one pan.

Review 14:Good location. Nice surrounding.

Review 15:Not recommendable with young children. Pretty dangerous at the pool and garden area. A lot of steps and differences in levels.

Review 16:Owner was very friendly, kind and helpful. Fantastic views. Good location to visit the area. Bread delivery was a real asset!

Review 17:We were disappointed in the room which was very out-of-date. Seems like no renovation has been made for a couple of decades. Also the cleanliness of the room did not match the standards we are used to. The fact that there was no opportunity for a breakfast was also a minus.

Review 18:The building and the garden with a pool was nice. The owner is very friendly and gave us good tips regarding restaurants.

Review 19:Could have done with a fan in additional bedroom. Acquaviva itself had a good Co-Op store and a nice bakery but apart from that very quiet.

Review 20:The setting was beautiful, pool and apartment very clean, garden well maintained with lots of places to sit drink and eat plus shady areas out of the sun. Genorous supply of towels adn useful things like coffee pot and tea towels. Owner Lucca was relaxed, friendly and helpful. Apartment within easy reach of pretty Tuscan hilltop towns like Moltepulciano.

Review 21:We spent 4 peacfull nights at that wonderful place. The house, swimming pool and garden are beautiful, well nurtured with many nice spots to seat in. The rooms are spacious and have a well equipped kitchen. The owner was very nice and helpful and the location is good.

Review 22:Beautifully located in rolling Tuscan vineyards....Close to the charming hill top town of Montepulchiano. Impressive farmhouse has been very tastefully converted into comfortable apartments. Luca, the host who lives on site, is extremely helpful and friendly. We drove from the UK and stayed a week and will be returning

Review 23:The bathroom is really too small, mainly the shower box. The furnitureis not the most beautiful, but is good enough, delivering a convenienterelation between cost and benefit.

Review 24:The tuscan landscape, wineyards, olive trees, the atmosphere are reallynice!!! La Casa delle Querce is perfect for summer holidays, with a niceswimming pool and magic small roads through the tuscan wineyards. A roomwith kitchen is very convenient when you are traveling with young kidsand babies, because you don't have to leave for dinner every night.

Review 25:If any - the pool was closed too early in the season in my opinion (early october), just the day before our arrival.

Review 26:An excellent place to come with the family, there was enough space for all of us, excellent facilities and nice owner (Luca). Gardening and atmosphere are enourmous. Highly recommended!

Review 27:There is no restaurant, and the room needs a little renovation.

Review 28:the location is very good, fabulous view from the yard. The house was a little old, but was equipped for a long stay, including a full kitchen. We stayed only one night though, so we didn't use it. Lucca- the owner- was kind, and welcoming. The nearest town is five minutes away.

Review 29:There was no breakfast included

Review 31:Location Luca was great Lovely grounds

Review 32:The bathroom attached to the bedroom with the noisy fan.

Review 33:Very nice host. Nice surrounding. Nice view. Quiet. Easy access to nearby cities.

Review 34:It can be cold in the room in the spring/autumn

Review 35:Good place for several days in the Tuscany
