Reviews for Family Park I Pini
Review 1:No disabled access into main pool. Fantastic value for money, friendly staff
Review 2:Friendly staff. Fantastic value for money, able to eat out every evening. Kids loved the pool.
Review 3:Just wanted to stay longer. Loved it all.
Review 4:It was great to have the pool and the slide and we loved the food in the restaurant. The staff were helpful and fun!! Great for the family to go every second day to see the sights of Roma then relax by the pool on the other days. Its a little hidden Oasis.
Review 5:This is a well placed park good for families but not intimidating in size with local staff who are familiar with area .There is an old fashioned family vibe to the atmosphere and activities. My family love it and we have stayed here before and will again!
Review 6:Wifi is awful, and runs out very quickly as you get such a small allowance. This is the only negative aspect of this park.
Review 7:Excellent staff, who go above and beyond to help. Fantastic Animation team, which the kids just loved. Great park, great swimming pools, great food, very clean and tidy, good kids club.
Review 8:The site is quite remotely situated so you really need to have your own transport. Nearest town Fiano Romana has minimal facilities. There are a lot of Mosquitos so arm yourself with insect repellent and citronella candles.
Review 9:Lovely site situated amongst woodlands approx 30 mins drive from Rome. The various styles of accommodation are basic but comfortable and most have outside seating/eating areas. Excellent staff, who are very polite and obliging. Nice pools and bars on site. Very good on site restaurant serving a nice selection of reasonably priced dishes. Plenty of poolside entertainment during the day and nightly entertainment for younger families. Small but well stocked on site supermarket, including small deli, grocery and bakery. Great base for visiting Rome, Pompeii and surrounding areas.
Review 10:Chalets not soundproof and rather worn out. No means of making hot drink in two person chalet. One pillow per person wasn't enough.
Review 11:Good value for money. We didn't expect luxury as we were meeting up with family for only a week and could use their kitchen facilities.
Review 12:Not the most comfortable beds but satisfactory ... especially when you consdier the price.
Review 13:We love this place. Itw as our second visit and I brought the children's grandfather too. We had such fun! We all LOVED the pool!
Review 14:For all of us it was very hard to use WiFi at all time. No facilities in small apartments(no kettle or mugs, glasses etc) No tissue pepper and no lights outside in arriving at all!!! it was so dark then i have to use my mobile for lighting. Curtains was full of dust. Shower was broken
Review 15:Staff was friendly and can speak many languages, good swimming pool which is great fun for a children and adults as well. Perfect location if you want relax and have a rest.
Review 16:The advertised bus into Rome (our reason for booking this site) only runs if 20 people want to use it. This is a family-oriented site and it didn't run at all while we were there.
Review 17:Swimming pool and restaurant
Review 18:What a great place to spend soem days with small-ish kids! We loved it.Swimming wonderful with slides, and safe. Kids' club, trampolinesand dancing for them in the evenings: they were exhausted and for once Iwasn't! Pretty simple but clean cabin. Staff friendly and smileywhich, to me really matters. All better than expecteda nd we shallreturn next weekend even!
Review 19:Location Selection in Supermarket Limited opening times of restaurant, supermarket etc Unhelpful site staff Cost of travel to airport & Rome
Review 20:Pool - excellent Kids club Weather Accomodation (mobile home) Animation staff (particularly Debbie)
Review 21:Service in Restaurant extremely slow can often be 30 minutes or more before order taken and regularly waited up to 45 mins (and on one occasion 60mins) for food to arrive which if eating with children simply not acceptable!! Limited selection of provisions in shop and although shuttle bus to village is provided, if staying for short holiday with children it is not necessarily desirable to waste valuable holiday time to have to travel to buy provisions.
Review 22:This is our 4th visit. We love the small easily navigatable site, continuity of staff, feeling of security, family nature of place and entertainment .Great facilities for children,no hi tech necessary as children free to enjoy themselves,Adults can relax with children in sight or can allow little bit of freedom.Good food available in restaurant. All round great value and family friendly. Mobile homes are of good standard.Clean and with privacy and shade under trees.Could do with a toaster though.
Review 23:We arrived to be shown a very dated caravan. Nothing like the ones shown during booking. It stank of dog poo and I had to remove a blanket covered in hairs. I was then given another one which was ok. Just ok. Again very dated, boiler cover fell off when I tried tap, the electricity switches were open, uncovered and I just felt so let down as I had paid a fair amount of money for this park. The holiday park it's self was ok, I would say for very young children only. Pool water looked a bit murky too. Shop had poor selection, lots of empty shelves. Accommodation really on top of each other too, and I mean really close......We travelled with another party who went for the very cheap option and had a tiny bungalow, don't do it! The accommodation from the likes of Eurocamp look fine, but the actual I Pine ones, are very dated as the Manager admitted. We asked for a transfer to another park, which at first the member of staff dealing with us said ' it wouldn't be suitable for families'. We finally managed to secure a booking with this park and got transferred for 75 Euro. This park was Camping Fabulous and it really was, in every single way, I will leave separate feedback. So, whilst some people enjoy staying at I Pine, we had a very disappointing experience and lost a day of our holiday because of it. So be aware what you book and who through.
Review 24:I really cannot say. The four hours spent in this park were four hours too many.
Review 25:Evening entertainment was meant well, but if you choose to prioritize it as a regular part of the whole concept, then you should also employ personnel with needed skills. The restaurant is centrally located and well positioned at the campground, but the food cooked in the restaurant is not good. Focus on what you can and remove the rest of the menu... it creates resale among the hungry guests.
Review 26:I Pini is value for money. It is cheap but a really nice standard and the area is great - relatively close to Rome City Centre. Reception staff is very nice and they do speak english ;-) The pool area is just about the best we have experienced - it will be hard to beat next year.
Review 27:I felt that the caraven we were given was very shabby for the price we paid. I had to clean it when we got there as no staff were available and when leaving we were ask to do it again even though the water to the camp site had been turned off. The male members of the staff were very rude and not helpful at all. They made us feel very unwelcome and so we will never return to or recommend this site.
Review 28:The restaurant was very good and great value.
Review 29:The internet was slow. The loud speakers for the evening programs were very loud at night until past 10:00pm. making it hard for young children to sleep.
Review 30:Everyone was happy here from the adults to our young children. The pool area was exceptional, large with fun water slides. They had a nice cafe that served delicious cappuccinos and croissants for1 euro each! There is a nice market on the property for food and supplies, lots of activities for children throughout the day and at night as well.
Review 31:Very attractive price
Review 32:Cabin could be a bit cleaner.
Review 33:Close to Rome Shuttle bus to Rome Swimming Pool Nice Park in a nice environment.
Review 34:Poor Internet locations
Review 35:Staff very friendly enjoyed the location
Review 36:delicious foods served in the restaurant. the convenient supermarket. comfortable air conditioner.
Review 37:Fantastic family park for young children. Pool was great and the entertainers were very interactive
Review 38:A little too far away from centre of Rome.
Review 39:Nice mobilhome, friendly and helpful staff, nice swimming pool area, activities for children.
Review 40:Worst WIFI ever
Review 41:Great pool - super entertainment -good restaurant
Review 42:We have spent 1 night on the way to the south Italy.Comfortable, clean an very quiet place.Very goog price.
Review 43:Mobile homes need a good clean
Review 44:Staff friendly Plenty of entertainment Close to Rome
Review 45:Pool for children is exelent
Review 46:staff was poor
Review 47:Used it as an overnight stay but was pleasantly surprised with the whole park. Would definitely consider for a longer stay if we return to Rome.
Review 48:entertainment
Review 49:pool
Review 50:The chalet was very damp
Review 51:Hours of the pool. Needed to stay open past 6:30 so after you went to town you could have used it.
Review 52:Staff was great very helpful. Wonderful with the kids. Food was better than the places we ate in Rome.
Review 53:The camp site shop was poor. In particular we missed the fresh croissants that are usually available in the camp shops. However it is such a small site and the advantages of this outweighed the lack of croissant!
Review 54:Extremely family friendly site, our kids aged 10 and 7 loved going off on their own to the shops, entertainment, trampolines and park. The chalet was excellent, much bigger than any we've had before and bigger than the thomsons ones on site. Staff were brilliant, mario and Judy and the entertainment team were fantastic.
Review 55:I didn't know beforehand that the cleaning of the cabin should be done by us.
Review 56:It was a well kept camp site with big swimming pool for small children.
Review 57:The owner of the restaurant is ignorant. The restaurant needs to be able to show matches other than Roma, despite what the owner of the restaurant might think, not everyone in the world supports Roma.
Review 58:The staff, except for one member, is excellent. The pool is fantastic for young children, although they should keep the smaller pool separate for adult swimmers as there is enough space in the lagoon for children. Prices on the campsite aren't bad, and food in the restaurant is ok. The free bus to Fiano Romano is good, and the driver is a nice guy. The bus to Rome is also well organised and cheap.
Review 59:the shop was not stocked for self catering supplies of food
Review 60:The staff were very friendly and helpful Excursions were good and not overpriced The facilities were good and clean
Review 61:It would have been nice to have some adult only access to large pool in early morning or evening for swimming as impossible to use during day due to activities etc but minor quibble.
Review 62:Fantastic Family atmosphere.Facilities excellent and easily accessible.Water Lagoon for children was first class as was Children's Club and entertainment. Nightly Mini Disco was greatly enjoyed.Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and quality of food was excellent. We stayed in Family Cabin which was located in forested area and was relaxing for all. Can't fault accommodation.
Review 63:Not enough activities on site for kids to do; the swimming pools are too small for the number of users; the pool water was dirty and full of debris; no signs to tell people not to dive into the pools
Review 64:Medium sized site, friendly staff, fairly priced, space between caravans, shuttle bus services, guided tours, close to Rome
Review 65:The location is great. 1 Hour from Roma, and they have a shuttle service to Roma every day. Great for smaller kids too. We had a great time and would recomend it to anyone who wants to camp in high style. The staff is just wonderful and accomodating to your every need.
Review 66:Very reasonable and comfortable place to stay about 30km from Rome. Theyhave a bus service, (8 euro) to Rome. Only one time (10.30 in morning, back at 18.30 in afternoon.) We stayed in small bungalow en-suite. It issmall but quite adequate.Lovely pool area. Not noisy at night as it isvery much a family park.
Review 67:Couteous staff ( Roberta) and the cabin. I also liked their, referigerator, fresh ironed bed sheet, towels and a very clean bathroom.I was pleasantly surprized by the facilities in the cabin. There busservice to near by town Fiano Romano was also excellent
Review 68:I liked its location, close to Rome. The staff were first class.

Review 76:Small & friendly. Good for young children. Daily service to Rome. Value for money.
Review 77:A little far from Rome, but easy with public transport.
Review 78:The staff and facilities were great.
Review 79:More rubbish bins needed around the campsite.
Review 80:Excellent pool area, very child friendly. Excellent for ease of visiting Rome.
Review 81:VERY expensive restaurant and shop on site Nothing of interest in the local town
Review 82:Staff Not too big Friendly campers

Review 90:animators for the children were poor and really not funny. beach chairs in front of the mobile home were not maintained and not cleaned.
