Review 1：No hotel food available after breakfast except for hotel simple snacks. Restaurants in the area all packed and difficult to get service, not so close on foot either.

Review 3：Being under the impression that the pool was heated, it was a shock to my system to find that it was in fact, very very cold! As it was warm weather many people wanted to swim, but few were brave enough to get in, a shame

Review 4：Lovely location despite the very busy main road behind the hotel, it is well insulated so remained quiet at night. Adequate breakfasts included. Many walks easily accessible once you have tackled the busy road which in some places has no pavement!

Review 22：The location. Room was overlooking lake and Sun terrace and pool. Balcony with furniture and spectacular views of lake, town and snow capped mountains. Staff were first class polite, helpful, knowledgeable and hard working. I've never known better staff at any hotel I have stayed in.

Review 23：No complaints, really. Maybe only that the town of Gravedona seemed a bit deserted and it was hard to find a good place to eat, so we had to visit a very average touristic restaurant and in the evening walk to the neignboring town for a glass of wine...

Review 24：We were surprised with how good the hotel was for the price. Maybe the reason was that we came off-season (end of April). It was still too cold to use the beach and the swimming pool, but the potential is great.

Review 28：Good value, comfortable hotel with a great view od the lake and mountains, easily walkable to Gravedona centre for local bars / restaurants as well as for catching the ferry to other towns around the lake. Good breakfast - eggs and bacon as well as usual continental breakfast. The pool, garden and terrace looked appetising but unfortunately it rained for the duration of the visit so couldn't get to use.

Review 29：Reception ordered pizza for us - we waited over 2 hours and then got completely the wrong order - it was mid week. Reception called a different pizza company (flying pizza) to rectify and got the pizzas within 20mins. Choose flying pizza over the recommended one!

Or you can take the boat!

The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly, the breakfast very good but most of all the views from the rooms over Lake Como to the mountains and Gravedona are magnificent. Review 96：Very complicated to get to if taking the bus - driving there would be fine. I took the hydrofoil back and that was much better. Hard to find out how to get there.

Review 99：There is no restaurant at the hotel. Taking into account the price ofthe room, it was a big disappointment.The lift at the hotel is obsolete. Waiting for the lift with no sign where it goes at the moment and even whether it goes at all - it was annoying Local restaurants are average. Their prices are high compared to the cuisine quality. The support for hiking is ZERO from the local authorities and info centre. The map we got from the infocentre/hotel was total rubbish.. Absolutely no marking of tracks. We met a lot of tourists lost, no information available anywhere. This place was the worst from this point of view we visited during our trip to Nothern Italy. The lake shore is fully privatised and mostly not accessible.

Review 100：Receptionist helped us with a room rearrangement at our arrival withinminutes. Contrary to that, we asked booking.com people before, but theydid not do anything for us except sending us an email informing that theearlier arrival is not possible.The place of the hotel - great view to the lake and mountains from the respective rooms. But the close road is very busy. Hotel was clean, staff was hlepful and the pool and terrace were very nice.

Review 101：Difficult to think of something. Maybe the description of the beach was over egging it, just a narrow gravel strip in reality. Given the pool terrace, the large grassed areas and the private terraces and balconies not a great loss.

Review 106：The pool is definitely the best asset of the hotel. It's right next to the lake, so the view is impressive. it also has a good solarium also overlooking the lake. Breakfast is quite good, including eggs and bacon which is not that common in Italy. Gravedona is also nice a few minutes away with good cuisine (we tried 3 different places and all were good)

Review 128：Hotel Regina is excellent value for money! Me and my girlfriend have stayed in quite a few hotels in Northern Italy, which are in the same price range and we think that Hotel Regina is so far the best value one. Judging by the share of German guests at Hotel Regina I think this assessment can't be too far from the truth either. The room had a great view of the lake (own balcony), it was very clean and the bathroom was tidy and semi-recently refurbished. The breakfast was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The pool area and the sun deck looks really inviting but due to the wet weather we didn't enjoy this part of the hotel. The personnel was really helpful and kind. Upon arrival I requested to have a special breakfast on the morning of our last day in Gravedona (2 days notice), which would hopefully include prosecco, flowers and a cake. This was arranged in impeccable fashion and on the morning of our last day at Hotel Regina we had a special breakfast table with all of the above. I am very grateful for this and happy to say that the service at Hotel Regina is hazzle free and friendly. Gravedona's slow and mellow rythm was very relaxing and the food in the restaurants really good (Ca de Matt was most to our liking but the other ones were good as well). We will return to Hotel Regina when it's a bit warmer so that we can enjoy the pool area and sun deck, as well.

Review 129：Nothing negative to say. But if you are coming to lake como to go out clubbing each night (which I doubt many people do) don't come here! It's wonderfully quaint, quiet and not many locals speak English! Perfect to get away from it all.

Would recommend to anyone....young, old, family, couples etc. Easy to get to on public transport (train from Milan to colico then bus or boat.) Plenty of off street parking in hotel carpark. Easy to catch boat down the lake to other beautiful towns then come back to the tranquility of very few tourists in gravendona. Heaps of walks and mountain biking. Hotel is bike and watersport friendly!
