Review 1：The hotel restaurant was very expensive and we found some staff were fabulous but some seemed like they just did not want to be working there (especially the restaurant)

Review 11：The windows of our nice room with a terrace were facing the street and the cafe across the street which is more like a creepy bar with game machines and cheap entertainment. They were drinking and shouting all night long. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working properly on the first day of our stay and we were circumstanced to listen to it without sleep until 4 a.m. when they closed.

Review 19：Waiting 45 minutes for a small lunch meal (prosciutto/melon and caprese salad) was unacceptable for a property of this calibre. Air conditioning on the last night didn't work and night desk couldn't help even though we notified reception several days earlier of a potential issue.

Review 20：Having stayed here 3 years ago and having had an enjoyable stay, this time around was no exception. Great staff on reception were very obliging and happy to assist with requests to help. I was expecting a certain state of wear and tear on the property but was pleasantly surprised that to see the standard of cleanliness and property maintenance was high. Close to the beach as well as plenty of pool side places for those wanting to stay in gave plenty of options.

Review 21：The staff right from the start were very abrupt and rude. They were totally useless. We didn't know where to park when we arrived so my partner ran to the reception to ask and received a very cold unwelcoming reply from the man on the desk. The breakfast staff were very rude and looked like they hated everyone.

Review 33：Staff were quite cold and unwelcoming on first night but they did apologise the next day explaining that there had been a storm for a few nights previously and the staff were stretch attending to guests' needs. We appreciated this gesture. The bedroom was a little noisy as it was at the front and faced the bar opposite. Also we thought it was odd that next door's balcony went round covering the whole length of our window & room. So if we open our window, we would see them sunbathing in front of our room. Lack of privacy and almost taunting us since we didn't have a balcony ourselves! Very odd design. Breakfast was very busy, there didn't seem to be enough tables for the number of guests there. Nonetheless it provided us with some light-hearted entertainment watching the other people chase down free tables! Wifi code did not work at all for us.

Review 36：Structure is modern and clean. The swimming pool is really nice and of huge dimensions. There is also a small heated one ideal for small children or to relax. Hotel is really close to the sea. Standard rooms are not that big but have a confortable wide bed. Breakfast served by the pool is really a good idea. Food is of good quality but juices are diluted and croissants didn't look fresh.

Review 38：Firstly, the hotel offers the free access to the terme spa which is a great to mix with swimming in the sea. The bus station is just in front of the hotel, and it is 25 min. From the city Grossete.

Air conditioning must be started and temperature reset every time you go out. reception rather off putting. No managers doing much for clients. The resort of Marina di Grosseto is dead as a dodo , go to Castiglione della Pescaia instead. no good bars or restaurants and no decent shops in town. forgot you have to pay for car park and ombrella and chairs on the beach. Will not come back in a hurry.

Review 73：The breakfast room, although lovely, was very badly managed. Breakfast was served until 10.30 am but for the three days we were there the staff were not re-setting up the tables after 9 am and if asked to set a table up did so with ill grace and didn't bother to wipe clean the table before setting it up. At 9.45 am I asked if some more bacon could be brought out and was told "No, is finished". We had to ask on several occasions for cutlery as this was not always freely available. We reported our findings to reception who were very apologetic but the very next morning it was just the same. A shame as the hotel is just lovely and this unwelcoming approach at breakfast spoils what would otherwise be a lovely holiday experience.

Review 74：Beautiful pool area and within a very short walk of the beach and many restaurants. The room was very clean although on the small side as was the bathroom. The staff on reception were very helpful and spoke good English which is always helpful.

Review 75：1. Poor for comfort because the matrass was extremly hard and the holel was unable to change it.. Such kind of matresses good only suit for people who are used to sleaping on wood or beton. 2. The hotel was generally clean, however, our room has not bean cleaned - food rests and toilet rests left by previous guests has not been taked away. 3. Air conditionins capt switching off and Wi-Fi connection was disappearing all the time the room. 4. The beach was really close but their were no umblellas of sun-bads 5. Their were no glasses, plates, utensils and kettle in the room. 6. The staff was unwellcoming. 7. The location is disappointinig because Marina de Grosetta has almost no sidesings no bars no restorants.

Review 87：Recepion staff is incompetent, ironic and lazy. Hotel charged my credit card twice and it is not possible to solve this issue even if they were provided with all necessary proofs there is no contact from their side. When I call they "don't speak English, borkes my calls".

Review 88：This hotel appeared new and with very good facilities, however we experienced the following on a four day visit: 1. If you wanted a drink from either bars you had to find someone to serve you as they were not staffed. 2. Although there were air conditioning controllers in the rooms we were told by staff that "they" controlled them using the hotel central computer. We requested the temperature to be reduced four times to 18 - 20 degrees, however they could only manage to get the room temp down to 26.7 degrees. 3. The hotel ran out of cold water during busy periods. Dangerous if you are having a shower and suddenly only have boiling water!! 4. The key card for the room had to be reprogrammed as it would not let us in the room. A real shame as the hotel has great potential, however is run and managed very poorly

Review 97：- poor breakfast for a 4 stars hotel - nobody gave us information about the hotel facilities - on the website is said that there is private beach - the fact is that you have free umbrellas and sun beds but there is no showers and toilets so you have to go back to the hotel... if you want to have that facilities you have to pay 15 euro for a day and 12 euro for half a day - very cold sea ( we were there the first week in July )

Review 99：Unfortunately we were disappointed with the lack of communication with one receptionist. We had asked if they know of a dry cleaners and the receptionist advised that they can do our clothes washing for us. We had 1 wash load of washing and I asked how much this would cost? She advised that she didn't have the price list to hand but assured us it doesn't cost that much. The following day when I collect the washing she calls our Hotel room to ask how many items of clothing we had washed as the cost is per item. When we came to pay we were given a bill of 72.00 Euros. I asked why this cost so much? She advised that it is because the company they use for laundry charge per item, I explained that she advised it would not cost that much to have our clothes washed and she apologised and said I tried to call you. I advised that she called our room to ask how many items after we'd had our washing done so we could not change our minds if the price was too high anyway. She advised that we should have a price list in our rooms. I advised that there was no information in our room at all, if there had been then we would have been able to work out the cost ourselves and would not have asked her how much our laundry cost. The reception felt fit leaving us disappointed on our exit of the Hotel and did not offer any discount or compensation for her lack of communication and information. There appeared to be a manger also next to her who understood what had happened but also was happy to let us leave without rectifying the situation. If they cared about their reputation they would have resolved the issue and made sure that we were satisfied with the outcome, but they didn't. There was also 1 bottle of opened water in our fridge and they did not replace this with a new one. We would not stay here again.
