Review 1：Great location with view of Abbey from room. Mini museum of the WWII battle in lobby. Staff excellent, and while not a luxury hotel, the value for the money was fantastic. Very comfortable and walk to restaurants.
Review 2：The room was nice but the beds are hard and the blankets a bit short, but there was plenty of heat for a comfortable night.
Review 3：Super location if you're driving and intend to go to Monte Cassino. They're outside the city and off the main road a bit, but two left turns out of their driveway and about 9km gets you to the Abbey. Giuseppe is from Columbus, OH so language is not a problem.
Review 4：Had difficulty finding location even with printed Booking.com directions. Breakfast was quite basic, probably the least diverse in 3 weeks in Italy.

Review 7：OMG just wonderful! The owners are special people.... so warm, helpful and gracious. After the warm welcome they gave us a tour of the grounds. It's absolutely stunning with gardens, fruit trees and a lovely pool. They are part Italian and French. What a combination hospitality and a fabulous breakfast!
Review 8：It's important to inform us that only cash payment is accepted! Especially for business travel! Not easy to find the right entrance first, rooms are at the top of the big house!

Review 10：Bedrooms were not as shown on Booking.Com, no air con, no complimentarytoiletries, shower door hanging off, no cover for shower waste pipe,toilet seat needed fixing. Mold around the shower cubicle, shower headneeded replacing and on day one there was no hot water. Breakfast wasextremely poor, no fresh fruit or fresh bread. Toast was long life breadfrom a packet. Didn't take credit cards but no reference on theBooking.Com website. Similarly we were chased for an arrival time butthis was not a requirement when we booked the stay. The owners lack ofattention to detail and the feeling that they were providing breakfaston the cheap impact our enjoyment of staying at this property.

Review 14：The swimming pool is good though not quite as good as it looks in the photo's, being a constant depth throughout. Apart from one restaurant, a car is required for eating out and general transport.

All four rooms occupied by ourselves and family/friends were large (ours especially!) and comfortable; a small kitchenette allows for drinks, etc. The owners and staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. Far too much food for breakfast - especially the cakes!

Review 19：Il Maniero is a beautiful house with stunning grounds. We only stayed for 1 night but our room was lovely with a 4 poster bed and we had a delicious breakfast. The owners were very helpful and friendly and took great care of us! They recommended a local restaurant which was great and within walking distance.
Review 20：No fly screens on the windows which meant we needed to keep the wind is shut because of Mosquitos. The shower was full of mould and dirt and really disgusting but the rest of the room was clean and comfortable. The noose from other guests was easily heard from our room.

And even though we had not received the email from booking.comasking us for re-confirmation, so the staff had assumed we'dcancelled ... when we arrived for late check in around 7pm, we weregreeted with surprise, but with warmth, and luckily our room was stillready for us. Nice breakfast too! During our 18 days Italy trip, wealways had late check in (after 6pm) guaranteed. This was a bit of asurprise that booking.com had emailed us. We did not have access toemail as we traveled that day. But all ended well.

Review 25：We thought the position was excellent and easy to find. The house was awesome and the hosts excellent. We had a minor problem in that we parked in town not understanding Italian and received a parking ticket! Ann-Marie sorted it out for us, we were most appreciative of her help. Beautiful breakfast, the homemade apple cake was delicious. We would definitely recommend this as a must stay, we will be back!

Review 28：Wifi seems to be available only in rooms close to the host office or in common spaces close to it, it was not in my room, inspite it should have been available in all the structure. Better ask for the right room in advance if you need Wifi in it.

Review 33：The house is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean. It looks better than the photographs. Our host was friendly, charming and amusing and when we asked about a nearby restaurant for supper he offered to give us a lift there himself. The following morning we enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast with fabulous coffee and loads of delicious breads, croissants, toast and a huge selection of jams and spreads at a communal table with another very nice Italian couple. After breakfast we checked out & went off to see the nearby Abbey at Monte Cassino and left our passports behind! Giuliano most kindly drove the 20 mins there to meet us with them. I thought that was extremely kind and truly above and beyond requirements. What a lovely man. We would definitely go back and I can highly recommend this charming establishment.
Review 34：A peaceful retreat set on the hillside. The best B&B I have stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom were of a very high standard and the use of the shared kitchen a welcome bonus. Many seating areas around to use and the pool had spectacular views. Not too far from the Abbey, which is what we came to see. The owners are very helpful and friendly.
