Review 1：We booked the hotel because they promised truffled scrambled eggs for breakfast which was not the case. The bed is very low (not suitabel for people older than 20 years) and broke down on the second day.
Review 2：If you have a big trunk You should prepare a small bag and put necessities and bring it to the hotel Leave your luggage in the car It is very hard to take all of stuff to top of the hill

Review 9：Parking is tough, but this is not a Villa Borgo problem, but Motovun's in general. You have to drive up a steep narrow rocky path, with hardly any place to pull over for oncoming traffic, so it takes tricky maneuvers, and the Villa is still quite a walk from the parking lot.

Review 18：We had to walk maybe 500-1000 meters up a steep hill which was soso with the bags but expected because of the old city with no room for parking. Villa Borgia has two spots for parking just inside the gates and there's free parking just outside the gates, though. For one night, the room was okay and it was comfortable even though it's quite small. If you're staying more than two nights I'd recommend booking a larger room than the 16m we booked, since I think it'll feel a bit cramped. Breakfast was decent but the coffe- and juicemachine were of poor quality in my opinion. Since few people were here this time of year, it wasn't a big problem - but you can hear a lot of sounds (flushing etc) from other peoples room's. On the other hand, ot should be expected in such an old building.
Review 19：Me and my bf stayed one night in the beginning of october. We were absolutely pleased with the location since it was situated directly on top of the hill, right next to good restaurants, and in the best location you could imagine. We got there fairly late in the afternoon, and the kind man at the reception helped us to a room with panoamic view instead of the one we had booked, which was an interior one. If anything, spend some money on the view here, it is absolutely magnificent and it will be worth it! The bed was big and comfortable and it felt like you were living in an authentic old house even though the room was refurbished. There were few tourists this time of year so we got to spend breakfast at the shared terrace on the second floor to our selves in the early morning which was wonderful. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone who appreciate a panoramic view and beautiful surroundings!
Review 20：We found it quite hard to find after parking up following directions through the map on booking.com (the centre of Motovun is blocked off from cars). After locating the b&b we were told that if you tell the guy on the car park that you were staying at Villa Borgo he would of let drive up a bit further to unload luggage. You get free parking with the b&b, they give you a Villa borgo display ticket to put in the window.
Review 21：The B&B was very central in Motovun with plenty of restaurants with great views close by. The breakfast was good, you could help yourself to yoghurt, cereals and toast with cooked eggs also offered.
Review 22：We arrived late and had to haul our luggage a long distance up a steep hill in cobblestone streets. Should have just taken what we needed for the night because the next day we were able to move our car much closer. We weren't aware of this and arrived after hours.

Review 26：The air conditioner is not strong enough to cool the room. We left the room door open for a little while and that was enough to cool the room down.
Review 27：We rented two rooms on the second floor - one with the views of the valley and another bedroom which opened onto the village. The room with the view was absolutely amazing since we had the best views of the surrounding valley. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but clean. If you have come to Motovun, you cannot beat the views from the rooms facing the valley. In the middle of the night, the clouds rolled in above the valley and so we were above the clouds. By morning, the clouds moved out and we had glorious views of the valley again. It is also the place to be for sunset views.
Review 28：It's an old building with uncarpeted wooden stairs and floors so sleep can occasionally be disturbed by inconsiderate guests' comings and goings. It only happened once to us: someone off for an early flight at 4am, I think.
Review 29：We liked almost everything about Villa Borgo; nice staff; nice room; nice continental breakfast; nice terrace with beautiful views over the valley. It's right in the heart of a gorgeous little town and very close to restaurants etc. We would definitely choose it again if we were in the area.
Review 30：Parking can be a problem. Make sure the B&B has your name listed at the entrance gate to Motovun. Otherwise, you park and it is a long walk uphill to the old town hauling your luggage. The B&B has two parking spaces near it's location. So, try to get one of the passes and you can drive up the long and narrow cobblestone streets.
Review 31：Our room #3 was clean, comfortable and quiet. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the country-side. Breakfast was very good - eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, espresso, cappuccino all available starting at 8:00 am. Melita, at the reception was very helpful, kind, friendly and she speaks very good English. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

Review 70：A wonderful place for a one-night stay in Motovun! The owner is friendly and helpful, the rooms are tidy and the view from the balcony is spectacular! Breakfast was plentiful in the morning, and there are many restaurants within easy walking distance (the one recommended by the owner was fabulous!).

Brakfast was also good, our really kind host made us delicious fritattas to pair with a simple but tasty variety of cheese, ham, fruit and usual brakfast food. The hotel location is great, on top of the village. Motovun might be the best location to book a room if you're planning on exploring Istria. It's well connected with roads so if you're driving around the area, this might be the village that's easiest to get to.

Review 85：Motovun is the Queen of Istrian inland towns - Villa Borgo is located on the edge of the old town with stunning views form a shared balcony facing the setting sun. Slavin was helpful & informative about Motovun and the surrounding area - and full of apologies for restrictions on parking due to the new Mayor. The room was clean, the water hot, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet included the usual suspects - with the addition of the nicest dark (rye?) bread we encountered on our travels. A great place to stay and soak up the atmosphere delightful 'old town'.
