Review 2：I stayed here one night to join the half day excursion for Meteora. After the excursion, I went to back to Athens by 17:22 train, they suggested I had a break during waiting for the train for several hours! It was cold and rain day, I was very glad at their kindness!

Review 3：Bathroom needs shower head holder and shower curtain is ugly. Internet did not work, had to use other hotels wifi. Breakfast area was really cold in January, had to eat with jacket on. Haven't seen the parking, we parked in front of other hotel. TV has a couple of domestic channels.

Review 4：Great breakfast for the price. Good beds, clean. Great staff. Heating in the room was really good, maybe too good (too hot during the night). Hotel style is ''questionable'', really strange mix of Greek and modern ''stuff'. Interesting non the less :)

Review 5：The internet on the third floor was awful. The staff's suggestion was to go to the main lobby and access the internet there. One staff was willing to go and fix it, but the front desk ladies were not (probably because they did not know how).

Review 6：Staff were all very courteous and helpful to the best of their abilities. One staff members' english wasn't up to par, but I can't fault her for that. Despite this, she was still very patient in attempting to communicate with me.

Review 7：The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and you were made to feel like a house guest. They seemed truly invested in making sure that you enjoyed your stay, including proactively arranging tours and transportation.

Review 8：The shower heads in the bathroom was broken, and with no holder on the wall. The sink was not clean and the water could not flow out. No glass privided for drinking or toothbrush. The price was as expensive as a good hotel in santorini.

Review 13：Very convenient place, although it looks a bit away from train station (10 minutes walk with luggage) and central bus status, but we realized later on that the bus to Meteora stops across the street and the hotel is close to the end of footpath. The staff is very friendly, she urged us to take the last bus leaving at 16:00, so we just left the luggage at the desk to run for the bus, make the visit of 2 monastries and took the hike in the footpah down to Kalambaka on the arrival day even the train has been delayed for more than 2 hours! The hotel is a bit old, but triple room is spacious.

Review 14：Better than expected, 10 mins to train station and center where there are many eateries, bus stop across the street to go to monasteries, get room facing the street for wonderful views of the rocks and St Stephen's.

Review 31：Otherwise the hotel is nice, clean, internet works well and the breakfast is also quite good. The staff and the owner are nice, friendly and very helpful people. To give an example: We came to see the Meteor for a day. Unfortunatelly we got issues with the car. In foreign country this is not something you want to happen to you. Mr. Famissi personally helped me to troubleshoot the issue and called all possible auto-repairment centers in the air in order to find one able to repair it. Тhat day was a Greek National holiday so all auto repair service centers were closed. Despite that he was able to reach the mechanicers over their mobiles and we got ensurad that the problem could will fixed on the next day. So was it.

Review 32：This hotel is used by large tour groups, so they were always in the way, whether in the lobby or at breakfast. The breakfast was pretty marginal and crammed with tour group members stuffing themselves. Staff struggled to keep food in the buffet.

Review 56：room was noisy: you can hear everything that's said in the neighbouring rooms and the soundproofing rubber lining on the balcony doors was broken, so a fair bit of traffic noise. transformer box in the room was buzzing very loudly, could be heard from several doors away. management said it would be fixed but nothing was done during the 3 night stay. wifi only worked in the lobby.

Review 57：staff were great - very friendly and helpful with planning a tour around the monasteries, and also with onward transport arrangements. they were kind enough to extend the breakfast hours after a late check-in the night before, which was a very nice gesture. location is decent, short walk to shops and restaurants with a bus stop very nearby. reasonably priced and would stay again if the noise issue is addressed.

Review 80：Overall, a very good hotel, I particularly liked the statues at the entrance. Mr. Famissi is arguably the richest man in Kalabaka, as there are two or three hotels named after him in this town. However, judging from their appearance, this one is probably the best.
