Review 1：The front desk staff was very busy all the time and we always had to wait when we had questions.

Review 2：Excellent location along the main street in Erice. Rooms are spacious and good value for the money.

Review 3：Very dated, musky smell & needs an update/freshen up. Very cold in winter as didn't seem to put raidiators on, but rely on room AC fans to blow warm air. Bathroom could be nice

Review 5：Bathroom was very small. Not the hotel's fault, but it was on a very steep street, so be warned. Parking is a couple of blocks away - if you are lucky.

Review 7：Position was excellent and staff lovely, and obliging. Alex went out of his way to assist. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room had wonderful views. Our room was quite quirky with an unusual layout but it was very comfortable. There was a small sitting room. Free wifi. The views from our room were magnificent (ask for a room with a view). We would recommend taking the road from Valderici to Erice, it was curvy but quite OK, unlike the other road up. We also suggest you not use your GPS and just parking in the closest carpark down the hill from the hotel and walk up, its not far. We got stuck in one of the little roads near the hotel with only inches each side, necessitating rescue by the multi talented Alex.

Review 9：Great staff, especially Stefan who went all out to get our car parked. Modern rooms in a medieval setting. Lots of public nooks and crannies for busy season. Good breakfast, tho not included with room. Superb location near, it turned out, car park!

Review 11：The staff was so very helpful when our luggage was lost at the Palermo airport. They made several calls for us and helped with the eventual arrival of the luggage. They also made good suggestions of places nearby to visit. The building has great charm!

Review 12：The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried. We had stupidly followed our sat nav into the town to the Hotel. Not a good idea. Got stuck in a one way street with a right hand corner at the end which only a bicycle would have been able to get around. Owner of hotel came to car, reversed it back quite a distance then drove correct road (if you can call them roads in Erice) to hotel, dropped off our luggage then went and parked our car. And not one raised eyebrow for the foreigners. They were charming. If you especially love old world charm and antiques you will love this place.

Review 26：The hotel is well located in the heart of Erice. It has a warm feel and stunning view from the dining room. The room we stayed in was simply decorated but very spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they assisted in everything - from directions to the car park to the main highlights of this beautiful town. Based on other travelers recommendations we decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in our trip. We want to thank Elimo hotel staff for making our stay at Erice an unforgettable one.

Review 28：Erice is a wonderful little city, beatifully situated high above the surrounding countryside and harbor. A lot of history in a small package.

Review 29：The restaurant!!!. The view from the terrace restaurant was magnificent however the food was absolutely terrible and almost inedible. We were refunded for one dish. There was no wine list and when we asked what the manager would recommend he suggested a bottle costing 65 euros.!! The house wine was barely drinkable - just a very bad experien ce which marred our stay.

Review 36：This is a very comfortable hotel in the centre of Erice, with good facilities and a nice restaurant with great views over the coast. Our room was spacious and quiet and attractively decorated. The staff very quickly assisted us with our luggage and parking the car. I would choose to stay here again.

This is an observation, not a complaint, because I paid a very good price and thherefore did not expect the best room.

Review 40：The location, right in the middle of town, was perfect. The staff is amazing - Antonio helped me unload the car, then drove it down the hill to park it for me in the proper place. Everyone was friendly and helpful with good information and suggestions. The room was huge and the bed comfortable.

Review 41：Fantastic stay in a charming hotel. We arrived and almost immediately were given a bottle of Prosecco as it was our anniversary. The staff couldn't do enough - very helpful, definitely service with a smile. Comfortable room, good shower and a great location in the old city of Erice. Nice little lounge area downstairs to drink Lemoncellos in!

Review 42：the day we arrived the hotel had just opened after a holiday for the staff/owners. We were the only ones in the hotel that night. The hotel was freezing due to the fact that they had not received a shipment of fuel oil. A fire was burning in the lobby fireplace where we huddled for warmth. Eventually 2 electric heaters were found for our room and the next day an oil shipment arrived. The "upgraded" hotel room had possibly the smallest bathroom we ever used and we are seasoned travelers who are used to European accomodations.

Review 47：The hilltop city of Erice is a special place This hotel is conveniently located Our room was good, but the rest of the facilities were superior. Drinks on the roof terrace. Staff went out of their way to be helpful

Review 48：Wonderful friendly staff who helped us park, and then brought our car to us the day we left. Spacious room, lots of room to spread out. Good breakfast with a view of Trapani as the morning fog and mist comes in and out. Wifi only available downstairs, but the lobby is charming and cosy.

Review 49：The hotel is situated close to the entry/exit to Erice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped us with finding parking, and drove the car to the hotel entrance when we left, which was very helpful, given the confusing and narrow streets of Erice. The waiters were also very friendly and the staff were helpful with information about the town, best sweets and Trapani.

Review 51：A very clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Erice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. A truly authentic medieval Sicilian experience. We traveled with a 7 month old baby and we were accommodated with a baby cot.We traveled by car and suggest you park outside the village in the public car park and then travel by foot to the hotel. The staff will help you with your luggage. The breakfast was ample and very satisfying.

Review 54：Driving to hotel through narrow streets may be challenging with larger car (Fiat 500L fit fine). Garmin took us through town center. If you park at Porto Trapani, it is an easy uphill walk directly to hotel, & staff can help with luggage, or getting car to hotel.

Review 57：The location of the hotel is brilliant-right in the old town. We booked the hotel 5 minutes before we arrived there which was no problem at all. Antonio drove the car to the door, helped us unpack and then parked the car for us saving my husband from having to negotiate the tiny streets. There was a lift -yay- and rooms were large and well fitted out. Bathroom design was excellent with a fab shower. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fine and breakfast while nothing amazing, was adequate. Would definitely stay again.

Review 61：Very good staff, excellent location for the trips in northeast area. Atmosphere is fantastic. Everything is clean , silent area, romantic walks around the hotel. Perfect view from the terrace. In northeast area is this hotel one of the best.

Review 62：The hotel is clean, nicely furnished and has all the amenities,including a gourmet restaurant. Our room was spacious with the twin bedswe had asked for plus a couch, a desk and two arm chairs. Nice view overthe courtyard and into the western sky for a spectacular sunset. Theconcierge came and got our car where we had left it, panicked by thenarrowness of the medieval cobblestone streets. He brought it to thehotel, unloaded the bags, and then parked it safely in the municipal lot(4.8 euros a day). When we checked out, he went and got it for us andshowed us an easy way to descend the mountain. The waiter at therestaurant was attentive and wonderful. Location is relatively near theentrance to the town (though our gps didn't tell us this, since thestreet to the hotel is one-way). Be sure to phone the hotel as soon asyou get into the town --do not try to drive to it.

Review 63：The dining room has a beautiful view at breakfast time. However the breakfast while adequate, seemed more American Hampton Inn than Italy.

Review 64：Lovely staff greeted us to help take our bags to the hotel and aid in getting a parking pass for our stay. Large room and washroom with a very comfortable bed.

Review 65：The town has not taken care of its potential and it almost feels like you went to a deserted alp village in the 70's. Not suited for people with any walking disability since the streets are steep and slippery (even when they are dry). Also the restaurants were not impressing.
