Reviews for Bijolai Palace, a treehouse Palace Hotel
Review 1:It was too far away from anything and the hotel did not have enough facilities to cater for this, even though they acknowledged it was so far away. This place would benefit from offering a free shuttle service to town or having more services on site like a spa, which would encourage guests to want to stay on site for the day.
Review 2:It was nice to escape the hussle of Jodphur.
Review 3:Food is very expensive and quantity is very less.
Review 4:Location---Near a lake and inside a remote green place Well maintained and clean room & surroundings Exclusive hospitality & fast , best possible service Not very far off from site seeing places & Jodhpur city
Review 5:Restaurant food choice is very limited. Electrics/hot water did not work.
Review 6:Location is great. The garden and roof terraces are very quiet and relaxing.
Review 7:Too far from City No place to sit in reception forget warm welcome Switch Board for lights placed right behind the bed so tht hands cannot reach the same No Card Machine as they dont have a BANK Account as yet... Can u believe tht
Review 8:Service can improve, facility is changing ownership but that should not afford affected guests..things like TV not working. Food quality average, staff should be professional
Review 9:The quality of facility and location
Review 10:The place was about to be leased out and we had no information of that part. There were very few items in the food menu .as we found nobody staying with us we left the place within an hour of checking in . I had to pay an entire day rent for it!!! It was not meant for some one with a 8 month old kid..
Review 11:The heritage property is neat and clean .
Review 12:There is no tv in the room they are saying it is because of the heritage property only tv in common room. The cost of the food are like 3 - 4 star but the level resort is not like that. In the resort there are lots of entertainment facilities provided but in this nothing. I am sorry but it was really unhappy visit. The manager only meet at the time of arrival and then never able to find him in the resort.
Review 13:The environment was peaceful.
Review 14:Water habitat is worst hotel we stayed in . We were the only costumers in the whole premises. No internal locking for the room so felt very insecured. Located middle of no where.the hotel is not worth 500 a day. They charge 155 for an egg preparation that too a lousy one.
Review 15:location from city. its hard to get taxi if you get late.
Review 16:open area. garden. Back side lake
Review 17:No license for liquor, but they overcharge for it when they arrange it.
Review 18:The ambience. Really great.
Review 19:Somehow Wifi doesn't work at all......the location is kind of problem for foreigners without a car like us.....
Review 20:good hotel with excellent staff
Review 21:The cost of food, compared to quality of food the cost should have been less than 50% too costly.
Review 22:Excellent service,location.
Review 23:Poor service Dirty Bad food Absolutely worst staff Poor communication with customer
Review 24:Location Good plantation Green Isolated from city life
Review 25:lake view
Review 26:Sign posts to the hotel were poor on the road out of town, so finding it was more difficult than it should have been. No TV in room, never mind "flat screen satellite" - need to amend the description on Bookings.
Review 27:The hotel was developed next to the Maharajas hunting lodge outside Jodhpur to help fund the Water Foundation he founded. A substantial part of your hotel bill goes to the Foundation and you can have a free guided tour of the Foundation explaining its work. Briefly its objective is to re-educate people in India to harvest water as they used to until the last couple of generations, making them self-sufficient and not dependent on the government to supply water which is often unviable in the desert.. The hotel is in the desert and is completely self sufficient for water with a lake and underground cisterns. Very worthwhile work. The hotel is modern and well appointed with lots of quiet seating areas and well away from the hubbub of the city, albeit only a few kilometers by car. In addition to their Foundation work they also take disadvantaged lads and give them a start in waiting etc. at the hotel.
Review 28:The Restaurant needs to be improved a bit in terms quality and availibilty
