Review 1：The hotel advertised wifi, but it would not work in the room we were in. We had to stand next to the lift to get any reception.

Review 19：I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Monte Cassino.My uncle is buried there. There is a lovely view of the Monastery.The staff were always helpful, limited English, but my Italian needs to improve.Breakfast was good, dining area cosy.Hotel room well maintained with an opptional mini bar.I would certainly go there again. Review 20：If you have come for the recent military history of Cassino, the location - looking up at the Abbey, the Castle, and Hangman's Hill is astonishing. The hotelier is very friendly and helpful: the hotel restaurant was closed so he had us driven to Settimo Cielo on Montecassino.

Review 37：Nice shaded carpark under hotel. Lovely view of Monte Casino from our room. Nice breakfast. Receptionist made us a free cup of coffee. Double glazing and shutters meant for a good nights sleep. Close to restaurants.

Review 39：Michele, the seemingly permanently on duty receptionist, was friendly and helpful. He dealt politely and patiently with all my questions regarding places to eat, directions, bus times etc.The rest of the staff were also friendly. The Alba is a very pleasant hotel.

Review 48：Not the hotel's fault, but church bells could be heard around 5am ringing for quite a while. However as the town is famous for the Monte Cassino abbey, this is probably to be expected!
