Offering a sports centre with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, Sport Village Ciocco also features a full-sized football pitch. Set in the Apuan Alps, it is 10 minutes' drive from the pretty town of Barga.
The wooden chalets come with 2 bedrooms and a living/dining room with kitchen. Each chalet offers views of the Apuan Alps from its balcony.
Ciocco Sport Village's grounds include a stadium and a large garden with sun terrace. Staff can organise a number of activities, including horse riding, hiking and excursions in off-road vehicles.
The resort's bar and restaurant serve drinks and Tuscan specialities, and are also open to public.
Set in the Tuscan countryside, the resort is most easily reached by car. A shuttle service is available on request.

Review 1：Kitchen facilities were extremely basic. Shortages of crockery, cutlery; no oven; no gloves for the hot pans; no dish towels or cloths. Lack of thought given in terms of availability of basic items - washing up liquid, salt/pepper

Review 2：Staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for them. Location was great. Locanda 0km - the attached restaurant - was very good.

Review 3：I was just looking for a cheap bed, but this place proved much better - huge chalet, full kitchen (which saved me a lot of money). While there is no wi-fi, if sneaky you can piggy-back the Marriott Hotel by walking a few minutes up the road!

Review 4：In the kitchen there are no matches. And no lighters. If you do not smoke - problem to light the stove. No light bulbs in the bedroom. We've had a headache from the fireplace. If you turn it off - it gets cold quickly. View from the mountain is almost not visible, because there are bushes and trees everywhere. Beautiful valley can be seen only in rare places. Nevertheless, we recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

Review 5：Lovely chalet is located on a mountain. The silence around. Very friendly staff. Nice house, fully equipped kitchen. We rested for real.

Review 6：just too spartan for our tastes....the gas rings din't work in one chalet...there is no oven...the showers are poor...the website hints at lots of things to do, but beware, there is no swimming pool and really its horse riding or rally car driving

Review 9：We stayed in this very spacious Chalet for 4 nights. The kitchen was fully equiped and had a large fridge. Quiet surrounding in the montains with a lot of great oppurtunities for outdoor activities. The staff was very friendly, helpful and even more competent then the lady of the tourist information in Barga.

Review 10：Too basic and utilitarian Beds are a bit uncomfortable Would be useful to have a microwave, a kettle, iron and definitely more lighting. Also sockets and wiring should be checked carefully as some sockets were quite lose.

Review 15：The Chalet was frozen their was an electric fire that you had to put pellets in it didnt work.There was no heating working in the chalet even the radiator in the toilet was frozen.The television didnt work.No kettle.No lock on the toilet door.We had 2 adults and a child and an old age pensioner.The motorbikes flying by our window every morning about 10 of them. We also where not allowed to use the pool at the hotel complex or any of its facilities ohh but we could use their restaurant
