Reviews for Hotel Bagni Arcobaleno

Review 1:End of September and Hotel closing down (as per the rest of the town) so no Hotel restaurant and not much open in rest of Deiva Marina

Review 2:Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast, quiet location (at this time of year). Close to Cinque Terre

Review 3:location - right on the beach, private parking, friendly staff, nice decoration, tasty breakfast, cleanliness. Thank you - everything is really fit for pleasant stay.

Review 4:The town Devia Marina was dead, there was nothing to do. The bed was hard, we could feel the springs. I was served a rotten boiled egg for breakfast, when I advised it was rotten they just took it away and never apologised or offered to cook me another one.

Review 5:The staff did try to be extremely pleasant. It was lovely to have nibbles provided with our afternoon drinks. Even though the staff didn't speak much English they were extremely pleasant.

Review 6:NOTHING

Review 7:Only four stations away from Monterosso you find this pearl on the beach. Excellent service, good food but unfortunally only to 3PM. You feel like you are on a resort. Free sunbeds. Free speedy WIFI. Free locked parking. Pleased I choosed this hotel to get away from the crowds and still close to CT

Review 8:Beatiful location and staff that went out of their way to look after us, very nice and modern rooms with all the comforts and excellent breakfast. Amazing value for money. THE place to stay for the cinque terra region

Review 9:long before the breakfast time was finished, they stopped refilling the food. 30 minutes before breakfast was over, there was very little food to choose from.

Review 10:location, location, location. service, service, service. oh, and free parking is a major benefit in the high season.

Review 11:The bed could have been a little softer

Review 12:The staff in particular were exceptional - they did everything they could to make our stay special and hassle free

Review 13:No good beach for children or seniors.

Review 14:Location, near everything Good train-connection to 5 terra. Room and AC. Staff. Good wifi indoors. Nice balcony with sea-view. Breakfast-terrasse.

Review 15:Thijs was à small town with not so many resturants. It wasn't for sure that you got so Much variation on the meals.

Review 16:This vas à very familiier hotel. Real serviceminder. They make you feel good.

Review 17:Staff were fantastic, very friendly and you felt that nothing was too much trouble. Hotel right on the beach and wonderful for sunbathing and swimming. Train station a couple of minutes walk away.

Review 18:Nothing..

Review 19:The location is great. Just outside the breakfast room is the private beach. Also perfect to visit Cinque Terre, train station is only 1 minute away . We took a train to the nearest village and from there a boat to visit the rest of the villages, highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and welcoming... Glad we found this hotel..

Review 20:Spotlessly clean, comfortable beach hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was very enjoyable. From the hotel, one can easily visit the Cinqueterra or Portofino.

Review 21:A little difficult to find (behind another property) first time, but worth the search

Review 22:Well appointed room, terrific breakfast, overall great value. Within walking distance of train to Cinque Terre

Review 23:Thank you Vincenzo and Francesca for preparing us a breakfast since we need to leave the hotel early (5am). We wish we can get back sometimes later when the weather is much better

Review 24:Very friendly staff Nice beach amazing clear water for swimming Fantastic sunset drinks on the terrace Really nice to come back to after battling the tourist crowds in cinque terra

Review 25:No restaurant in operation. Sea view rooms have balcony on East side of hotel and therefore are not directly facing sea. These rooms also overlook dried up river and rubbish bins. In evening the sun is lost.

Review 26:A reasonable if overpriced hotel.

Review 27:We stayed here for a few days as part of our 5 week trip across Europeand it truly was one of our absolute favorite stays. This is a familyrun business and we didn't have much interaction with the malemembers of the family, but I can tell you the ladies simply exude warmthand kindness. We felt they went out of their way to make sure we had afabulous stay--and we did. We chose Deiva as a place to stay thatwouldn't have the crowds that you will find in 5 Terre and we couldnot be more pleased with our choice. The hotel is directly on a lovelybeach and very, very close to 5 Terre by train. If we ever (and I hopewe do) get back to the Cinque Terre area, we won't even consider anyother place. Thank you ladies for make our stay one of the mostmemorable stops of our entire vacation. Oh--and I must say the emus werepart of the fun experience :).

Review 28:Only thing not impressed with is that WIFI signal in room was very weak. Had to go to lobby to get good signal.

Review 29:Room was very clean and staff helpful. Community is very quiet at night compared to main Cinque Terre villages. This means you do not have a large number of restaurants to eat at.

Review 30:Hotel is hard to find.

Review 31:Location on the beach. Beachchairs and parasol is included. Beach is top. Nice restaurants in the area: Favorite is Clipper. Parkingplace is included. Hotel is close to cinque terre, which can easily be reached by train.

Review 32:Hard to find Very hard bed

Review 33:So close to the beach Free parking Great staff Did I mention the beach! Free sun lounges Clean room Close to Cinque Terre

Review 34:The breakfast was poor and cheap quality. The noise of the bathroom. Things could be cleaner, mostly the bathroom.

Review 35:Helpful staff, close to the beach though it is not too beautiful.

Review 36:Very nice hotel with the focus on the water and the beach and easy access by train to Cinque Terre. Really great lunch and beverages readily available. Has a very groovy beach vibe. Staff very helpful with a small problem that developed. We were checking out on Sunday. We had to move our car to public parking Saturday because of a bike race early Sunday and all roads were restricted. The hotel staff very helpful with this since we couldn't read the road signs etc. Problems can arise while travelling it is always how they are solved that count. Excellent service.

Review 37:Will get room on water side next time.

Review 38:Vincenzo and Francesca run a wonderful family hotel right on the water in Deiva Marina. Clean with free parking and nice breakfast. 5 minute walk to train and great pizza nearby at Eden hotel and full dinner at The Clipper. Great stay!!!

Review 39:The bed was the hardest I've ever slept on in my travels. Most uncomfortable. The noise from other suites and from the hall is extremely loud in your suite. They don't serve hot meals in their restaurant but don't want you to bring food back to your room. This is told at the beginning and makes an overall negative impression, which is unfortunate because the staff is so nice, and the room is lovely to look at.

Review 40:The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, they would do anything to help. It was very clean, and the room was in pretty colors. The tv could be converted to English only, which was appreciated.

Review 41:- hard to find the parking from the first time - be careful entering the garage by car, it is easy to scrathc the bumper or the sills - the walls in the rooms are thin

Review 42:The hotel is near the sea, the city Deiva Marina is nice and quiet, there are several restaurnts near the hotel and the food is tasty almost everywhere. The most friendly and helpful personal I've ever seen. Beach is nice. Good TV reciver in the room, it is SKY tv and on some progrmas you can change the laguage from italian to english and whatch movies in english. The breakfast is ok, but it is the same everyday and there is no eggs or bacon or even toaster. Watching the sea during breakfast helps to deal with it.

Review 43:Next to a canal that is not super scenic, but a very small drawback since it is beachfront property.

Review 44:Incredibly helpful staff, good breakfast choices, and updated room. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed including directions, a corkscrew, and utensils for our take out dinner. They refused our tips insisting that service is just part of their job.

Review 45:Tight parking garage and drive

Review 46:The staff where more then helpful! The rooms were modern and CLEAN location was less then a 5min walk to the train and bus station for a quick 10min ride to Cinque Terre right on the water!

Review 47:Although plenty of restaurants there was not much to do in Deiva itself.

Review 48:High standards of cleanliness; little touches and products more like a 4 star room; and, nothing was too much trouble for the excellent friendly staff. Excellent location on the beach and for the Cinque Terre and Ligurian coastline.

Review 49:Outstanding family friendly service. Great location right on the beach and close to the train station for easy exploration of Cinque Terre. Spotless rooms with cot for our kid (they waived the sur-charge). What is not to like!

Review 50:Incredible experience at an amazing location--step out on the balcony to the beach and then able to easily ride the train to explore Cinque Terra. The hotel has only 9 rooms, so you get a very personalized service.

Review 51:Friendly staff. Nice private beach

Review 52:Fabulous location with private beach. Staff were so lovely and looked after is very well.

Review 53:Did not opt for room with sea view so outlook not the best.

Review 54:Great location by the beach, very friendly and helpful staff, nice room (apart from view)

Review 55:Great Staff

Review 56:Balcony - small and facing away from the beach.

Review 57:Location - right on the beach. So clean! Fantastic staff.

Review 58:The location and friendly staff

Review 59:Plumbing, lack of water on one occasion and poor bathroom

Review 60:Location

Review 61:The location and access to the beach was great. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean.

Review 62:Nothing

Review 63:The hotel is very well located, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help for all you need. We loved and sure recomend it!!

Review 64:Very friendly stwaff and nice location

Review 65:Staff extremely helpful & friendly Location quiet but convenient

Review 66:Staff, location

Review 67:it was hard to find in night time

Review 68:There is nothing I disliked about this place

Review 69:The staff are very helpful and did every thing possible to make our stay amazing.

Review 70:The breakfast was good but always the same.Very quit in the evening.

Review 71:the staff was very friendly and helpfully the hotel was very clean.

Review 72:Location and staff

Review 73:Clean! Clean! Clean! Good brekkie & lovely staff. Definitely recommend to all other travellers & hope to return one day soon

Review 74:Only that restaurant was closed for evening meals, but a good alternative was booked for us nearby.

Review 75:Excellent position great views .Helpful staff

Review 76:The first impression from the outside is that it isn't a very nice place. Don't be fooled! This is a very nice hotel and I highly recommend it!

Review 77:Excellent location to relax and enjoy the beach.

Review 78:Everything! The room was great and really clean, considered that it's a beach hotel but after the cleaning lady was done with my room, there weren't any sand on the floor. Really impressive! The staffs are super nice too, I sprained my ankle in the town and once they know about it, one of them hurried to the kitchen to get me some ice. She even wrapped it two plastic bag to make sure that the ice won't leak. I'm really touched, they really worried and packed a big set of breakfast so I won't have to eat in rush before taking the train.

Review 79:We feel that the hotel missed out on a captive audience by not opening the cafeteria as a restaurant in the evening as it overlooked the sea.

Review 80:Room very comfortable. Staff extremely pleasant.

Review 81:They have renovated and everything is beautiful!! I love the tile floors! The tile on the sun deck stays nice and warm for hours! If you like patios it's really worth it to upgrade to one or just hang out at the wonderful beach! Also very close to the train station which made it easy!

Review 82:The hotel is in front of the beach in Deiva Marina which is 10 minutes away from Monterroso (the first Cinque Terre town) by train. The train is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Deiva Marina is a quite village to relax after spending the day exploring Cinque Terre.

Review 83:The staff were so friendly and accomodating- a pleasure to behold! The location right on the beach is fantastic and only a 5-10 min train ride to Cinque Terre. We were there in the off season and it felt as though alot of Deiva Marina was closed but there were still nice places to eat etc. If you want a lovely hotel with great service away from the crush of Cinque Terre but still boasting the gorgeous views, this is definately the place to go.

Review 84:Be prepared for confusion at the local train stations. The ticket sellers are helpful when they're on duty...but when they're not, and the machines don't work...you could have a problem. If you manage to buy a ticket, make sure you validate it. If you get on a train without a ticket, make sure you actively look for a conductor to buy the appropriate ticket. If you don't, you'll get a hefty fine. (April was very busy...summer must be crazy!)

Review 85:While the area itself was interesting, and worth seeing, we stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Cinque Terre, and the fact that the price was much more reasonable than Cinque Terre hotels. It was a 100 meter walk to the train station with access to all five of the Cinque Terre villages. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the reception, breakfast and cleaning staff extremely friendly and helpful. (Receptionist offered to look after my dry cleaning when I leaned on a freshly painted railing in a nearby restaurant. Couldn't be done, but that's another story.) The hotel's private beach was very clean, beautiful sand, and right out the front door of the hotel. Underground parking was available free of charge during our stay.

Review 86:The warm welcome and hospitality of the owners and personel. They are always there and help wherever they can. Parking at the hotel. Direct access to the beach.

Review 87:A few Mosquitos and we would have liked a much longer stay

Review 88:The staff was fantastic and friendly, extremely helpful. The Oceanside view was beautiful and very peaceful and serene however we were there in October and many facilities are closed as it is their off season. We will come back one day

Review 89:Hotel is not big, maybe 10-15 rooms, but very nice and is located on the beach, 30 metres to the water. Sea is clean and deep, beach chairs/umbrellas are provided for free, towels rent is 5 euro. Location is 2 minutes walking from the train station and easy to get to 5Terre (15 minutes by train) Rooms are specious, features are new and working excellent. Cleaning is done everyday. Breakfasts are on a terrace with a sea view. Restaurant was not working at the end of September but we were allowed to use the terrace and eat/drink everything we bought outside the hotel

Review 90:The village of Deiva Marina itself is a bit outdated in terms of infrastructure. However if you need food and wine shops - there are well available in Moneglia just 10 min driving.

Review 91:Individual treatment by personnel who were very friendly. Very good own private beach with no extra charge.

Review 92:Nothing I didn't like.

Review 93:Great location. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Location is on the beach and what a beautiful view. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Review 94:I would not recommend the beach for young children but there is a stream just next door that kids enjoyed all day long.

Review 95:When planning a trip to Cinque Terre I found it difficult to find a place to stay for six. I settled on Deiva Marina, just north of the official five villiages. Lucky me! This place was great . . . small, friendly, relaxing with plenty of good restaurants withing walking distance.

Review 96:Everithing was excelent. Clean, modern and comfortable room with big balcony and sea view. Friendly staff, the magnificent beach and clean sea.I think the hotel is the best in this place. Ideal for a peaceful, relaxing stay and journing on Cinque Terre

Review 97:A little hard to find but Devia Marina is not that big that everyone doesn't know where it is.

Review 98:The staff was extremely friendly despite our lack of understanding of the Italian language. Very good value at the beach away from the crush of Cinque Terra. Quick two train stops when you want to see the crowd.

Review 99:our rooms didn't have sea views

Review 100:friendly staff extremely clean rooms are new and modernly equipped. location, easy to get by train to portofino om one side and Cinque terra on the other.

Review 101:Very Close to the beach and quite. Good breakfast and friendly atmosphere.

Review 102:The location was excellent, right over the beach. The atmosphere was very relaxed.

Review 103:Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel on the beach

Review 104:there is distance with cinque terre

Review 105:staffs are all very friendly and helpful

Review 106:Difficult to find using the GPS

Review 107:Everything

Review 108:Sea view

Review 109:Not much to do in the town, but located close to the Cinque Terre towns which are easily accessible by train.

Review 110:Good breakfast and friendly personal. Clean and big rooms. Hotel is on the beach.

Review 111:Nothing.........

Review 112:Everything.......

Review 113:A great place to experience the splendor of this seaside community and the locals. Wow! And a wonderful staff!

Review 114:Friendly Staff (Family run) Great Location On the Beach High quality rooms Clean! Lovely terrace Sky TV
