Reviews for Hotel Villa Smeraldo

Review 1:It's modern, clean, friendly, with good pool and jacuzzi. Great location near the sea in Gianella, with fishing villages nearby and great scenery up in the hills. The staff are just excellent

Review 2:The only flaw I found was breakfast, a bit under expectations.

Review 3:It's a family-run hotel a few steps from the Giannella beach, downtown Orbetello and the Argentario peninsula can be reached in a few minutes by car. Rooms are comfortable, personnel is nice and helpful, the design of the hotel is nice, airy and luminous.

Review 4:The hotel private beach wasn't very clean. The water was black with sea debris. The sand was also black. This may have been all natural, but we found it unappealing and opted to spend our down time in the pool instead.

Review 5:They put out a lovely breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, wifi worked well in the room. Room had a mini fridge and small balcony. Hotel staff very helpful with dinner recommendations. Good location for sight seeing in the area.

Review 6:We are coffee addicts and did not feel so comfortable asking for a third cup of coffee -- but maybe that is our problem.

Review 7:Great hotel. Pretty and modern. Very clean. About two blocks to the beach club.

Review 8:No direct passage to the beach, stuff speaking English would be appreciated

Review 9:Its located nicely, parking sorted,

Review 10:Nothing

Review 11:Wonderful friendly staff and being so close to the beach and pool. Great restaurants in Porto Santo Stefano too.

Review 12:We stayed there in the off season, no resturant avaliable and no real options given on where to go to eat or have a drink

Review 13:It was a clean and modern hotel

Review 14:The "sea view" was barely visible. Lighting in room too dim.

Review 15:Entry and lobby were quite nice. The owners were hospitable and gracious at breakfast.

Review 16:The family was very welcoming! Very nice decor with french doors to a garden view. They helped us with 'Everything". Highly recommend a stay at Villa Smeraldo.

Review 17:Extremely hard beds, no wifi in end rooms, paper thin walls do heard everything. Not recommended.

Review 18:Not much

Review 19:No local maps

Review 20:On-Site parking, good location for day Trips, good breakfast (ham selection), firm bed, shadow-free bathroom lighting

Review 21:Everything, and the staff was gracious and super helpful. We would highly recommend it

Review 22:The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
