Review 2：Enio the manager really makes this place. Words fail me to describe how helpful and pleasant this young man is. Because we were staying 8 nights he provided us with a large room with balcony.Very comfortable bed. He helped with car hire so that at the end of hire we could leave the car in the secure hotel car park. He advised me to buy a phone card for 5 euros which saved me a lot of money on calls. Helped with accessing Ryanair to print of check in pass. Always with a ready smile. I don't know what he is paid but worth his weight in gold. He was equally pleasant and helpful with all guests and readily dealt with any problems. Gold star Enio.
Review 3：great location for shopping and seeing montecassino but you will need a car or bus to see the abbey which is on top of the hill. not recommended to walk.
Review 4：No safe in the bedroom or facility at reception to safeguard travel documents/money. Partner felt very uncomfortable carrying documents and money around with him at all times. Inclusion of a safe in bedroom would be an excellent facility.

Review 9：The air conditioning in the smaller of the two rooms hardly worked at all, and the vent for the air conditioning in the other room was on the balcony so hot air was blown onto one corner of the balcony.
Review 10：Modern, clean and very comfortable while still managing to be quite charming. Great size rooms with a nice balcony (we had two adjoining rooms rather than one big suite which meant kids had their own space and bathroom). We'd highly recommend this hotel.

Review 12：Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. There was a view of the Abbey but it was very restricted by the adjacent buildings. Lack of shower curtain.

Hotel Piazza Marconi was well lit and open, beautifully decorated with contemporary art, and even though we booked late provided us with wonderful a room with a view of one of the town squares. Ennio provided the most positive and enthusiastic welcome we had in Italy and went out of his way to let us check in early -- long before our scheduled check-in! I got the feeling he would have helped more if we needed it. The breakfast was wonderful and the excellent cappuccino was free flowing. I only wish we could have stayed longer -- this town had so much history it was difficult to take it all in on a short visit.

I liked that this was a family run hotel and we were treated in caring manner by the family and believe they really cared about us. Mama was in charge of breakfast and she did a wonderful job.
