Review 1：The hotel staff was very helpful all the time. Furthermore, I left my laptop in a bus when arriving from the airport, the hotel staff coordinated with the agency which was operating the bus and I got my laptop delivered at the hotel the next day. Great customer experience!

Review 4：The location was just a short walk to Reykjavik old town. We had fantastic ocean views in a junior suite on the 14th floor and the breakfast was more like a banquet each morning.

Review 8：A very conveniently located hotel with great access to downtown. The rooms are great and comfortable. The best part is the staff. Everybody is so friendly and willing to help, all the way from changing bookings or recommending tours

Review 9：TV wouldn't play at all even though the receptionist helped to fix it once. There was noisy work being carried out just outside where my room was. The housekeeper forgot her dirty towels in my room and didn't Clean properly!.The receptionists appeared nice but were not so welcoming.There is no cable TV as suggested. Booking.com told me to pay with Isk but they asked me for Euros and I paid more than what I was told I would pay !

Review 11：Breakfast was lovely and spoilt for choice. It was a bit chaotic and busy, no staff to tell you the procedure. It was a case of find a table, and figure it out for yourself.

Review 12：The Staff were very friendly and efficient, even suggested a tour we could do, which turned out to be amazing. Location perfect, snow capped mountains and a lagoon view....bliss!

Review 17：Hotel is too far from center to be convenient unless you're using tour buses exclusively. Parking for private car is difficult and very expensive. Our "double/twin" room was small, with little space to open a suitcase; and no room in bathroom even to lay out a toilet kit.

Review 18：Brand-new property with friendly and helpful staff. Only had breakfast and a snack (a gourmet hotdog and fish-n-chips) in the Beer Garden, but that food was good. Beer Garden "beerologist" quite knowlegeable. Breakfast was good quality and variety.

Review 19：The breakfast buffet was delicious! The view from our room was also pretty cool. It felt pretty new and was very clean. Free wifi worked throughout the hotel.

Review 20：Reception area very bland with no comfortable seating to read on wet days. Bistro was like a work canteen with no atmosphere. Staff were efficient but lacked customer interaction. On departure we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay or encouraged to return to this hotel. Staff in Beer Garden got our order wrong on a couple of times. Did not like having 2 single quilts on a double bed. Difficult to control temperature in bedroom and only a small window opened which was electonically controlled. Nothing seriously wrong but a number of small niggles which should not happen in this grade and price of hotel.

Review 21：Quiet hotel with no noise to disturb sleep. Nicely furnished bedroom with good storage and very nice bathroom with lovely underfloor heating. Free secure underground car park. The food in the Beer Garden was excellent and was excellent value when compared to other local restaurants. Cleaning in room and in hotel was very good. Within walking distance of town centre. Good quality free wifi.

Review 23：Great staff, and I value this a lot always. Good standard rooms, clean, and in Reykjavik A/C is not needed, don't worry that: just open the window: the air is clean and cool. Nice restaurants around, I think this area is crowing to be a trendy one.

Review 26：Upon arrival no one was in the reception and we had to wait a few minutes. A question that was sent to the hotel via booking a few days before arrival was never answered. The room was not cleaned until 15:30, and only after 3 requests (and after being asked if it is urgent) it was cleaned. Even then clean towels were not left, and we got it only after going personally (because no one answered the phone) to the manager. For the price we were charged, we expected totally different experience

Review 28：The only thing we didn't like (and that will affect many future guests) is that we booked a standard double room. On the given pictures on the hotel's website you can see a light room with two windows there. Instead there was only one small window in our room and we had a 2m view against another part of the building.

Review 29：This brand new hotel is very nice and great situated next to the city centre, harbour etc. (appr. 5 min. walk). From the underground parking you can reach your room via lift without getting wet on rainy days. The service is obliging and discreet. Compared to other Islandic hotels in that price range, you really get what you pay for.

Review 30：Could not receive more than 3 TV stations in my room although they tried to fix the connection. I asked for a room change on day one but that was offered the change until day three. I decided to stay in the same room and foget about TV! At times, breakfast area gets crowded and you may have to wait for a table to be available

We enquired about a further night of stay when we planned to return to Reykjavik but was informed by rather unhelpful receptionist - no we are full. She did not offer any solution such as alternative options/hotels. Building works in progress made accessing hotel difficult. Access to car park was via uncontrolled ramp with cars allow to drive in both directions in single track -could be dangerous.
