Surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape, Gasthof Kleefeld is located above the picturesque town of Strobl on Lake Wolfgang, offering fantastic views of the Weißenbach Valley.
All rooms are tastefully furnished in a rustic style and offer wonderful views of the wildlife park and the mountains.
The spa area features a sauna, a solarium, an infrared cabin, a steam bath, a Jacuzzi, warming beds and a relaxation room.
The Kleefeld has a cozy dining room with a tiled stove and bar, the new Kleefeldstadl restaurant, 2 children's playgrounds (in the restaurant and outdoors), and a modern seminar room.
A wildlife park with deer, ibexes and many hiking trails is located on Gasthof Kleefeld's grounds. There is also a petting zoo with rabbits, goats and sheep.

Review 1：Owner/ manager was monosyllabic on arrival and remained so throughout our stay in contrast to his friendly conversations with other guests. His behaviour remained inexplicable. It was not inability to communicate as my wife and I are German speakers. Having engaged the guests leaving just before us in protracted conversation, he departed abruptly and left his wife to deal with our bill which was substantially lower than it should have been. She clearly had grave difficulty in resolving the problem. Eventually I did a manual account after waiting half an hour. Could not possibly recommend.

Review 5：The dining room was beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. The view from our rooms were breath taking. Our rooms were very warm, cozy and clean. We went for a walk on one of many trails, we saw wild pigs, deer, ducks, rabbits, goats, rams and the scenery was beautiful!

Review 10：the room facility is very poor, even cup for drinking water is not in the room and no refrigerator. whirlpool is not working at the sauna. no wifi. the location is not good.

Review 12：There are a lot of constructions around the hotel area. The landscape was not beautiful as the picture showing in booking.com. Not value of the money.

Review 15：The hotel is in a lovely location, the staff were superb and every thing was so clean. The room we had was large and comfortable with great views from a corner position. We also liked the fact that you could dine outside on the terrace, in the main restaurant or the bar and all areas were dog friendly.

Review 17：we were only traveling through Austria and needed some nice place for the night so I went to booking and got the offer for this hotel - incredible place, although only 3stars, it is very nice in all aspects and I do recommend it to everyone without any doubts.
